I think that is a wonderful idea. We do not know much about the evangelization work of the other apostles besides Peter, Paul, and John in the book of Acts, along with James, Jesus' brother from Jerusalem's congregation. They were all commissioned by Jesus to spread the gospel. I wish we had more of where they went and what they taught.

I am with you, we may not ever know when Jesus was born, Earl is close on the month, but the only thing Jesus said to do in remembrance of Him was at the last super, Luke 22:19. Scripture does let us know when Jesus came, the year He was baptized. Luke 3:1-6 when John the Baptist came. Tiberius Caesar was emperor from 14-37 A.D. Pontius Pilate ruled from 26-36 A.D. so the fifteenth year of Tiberius would have been 29 A.D. start of John the Baptist ministry.

This may have been in the late summer or early fall, Jesus came up from Galilee to Jordan to be baptized and the Spirit of God descending upon him, Matt. 3:13-17 Mark 1:911 Luke 3:21-22. Then Jesus went into the wilderness for forty days, tempted by Satan, then collecting the twelve.

In John 2, Jesus was in Cana of Galilee at the wedding and after in John 2:13, the Passover was at hand. This would place it just before spring of 30 A.D. There are four Passovers recorded in John, John 2:13 John 5:1 John 6:4 John 19:14, Jesus was crucified on the fourth. John 6:4 is in question if it was a Passover, or another required feast. Hi Andrew. Just to answer your question, "By what name was John baptizing?" I assume you're speaking of John the Baptist. If so, he wasn't baptizing in anyone's name. His was the baptism of repentance ( Mark 1:4; Acts 13:24; Acts 19:4) & was an in-between baptism from the Jewish performance of baptism (which Jesse has well explained), to 'believers' baptism' (which is an identification with the death, burial & resurrection of Jesus Christ).

The Jewish thought was simply of external washing prior to religious performances (Muslims also do this for that very reason, prior to their five daily prayer rituals) - the Christian belief is one of responding to an inward change. John's baptism was the 'connecting piece', bringing Jews to understand that there needs to be a washing not for the body as was previously done, but to show that it is actually a matter of the heart. And this was done by the "The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight", in preparation of the arrival & ministry of the Messiah, Whom the Jews should have welcomed according to the prophecies that went before Him, but to their suffering & eternal doom, the they rejected & even had Him crucified.

Hello Mishael, thank you for your comments. I am glad you found the Lord. Praise God. Sounds like you went through a lot. Glad you look to God's word for your answers, I think it is sufficient for all problems/solutions. Forgiveness is of utmost importance. Matthew 6:14-15.

I don't think there are any biblical references to 'forgiving yourself' though. 2 Corinthians 7:10. 1 John 1:9. God forgives us. We repent of our sins with grief and Godly sorrow and place our faith in Jesus. Mark 1:15. Mark 6:12.

Prayer is absolutely critical, I agree.

He will speak to us through His word. Romans 6:1-4.

So, "water baptism" Is Scriptural, But Dispensationally, "was for the Previous Law/Prophecy Program" of God, For ISRAEL!

Angels are God's messengers. Fallen beings impersonate they that have passed on. Moses, Elijah and Enock are not God's messengers. They will not communicate with us on the earth. The dead are asleep awaiting life eternal, or eternal death in God's light. God takes no pleasure in he eternal death of the wicked. That is eternal damnation. Wicked will look like a lake of fire.

The DAY (TODAY, has been happening for two thousand years) of the LORD (second coming of (the SPIRIT of) CHRIST has been happening for two thousand years. Some workers (spiritual messengers) were SENT the first hour of the day: for example; the apostles that FIRST DIED IN CHRIST (and BORN AGAIN in Truth), afterwards other workers (spiritual messengers) that DIE IN CHRIST were rewarded with the immortal body of Christ to WORK in the vineyard (the garden) of God. This thousand year reign (this ONE DAY; the DAY of the LORD) will continue UNTIL the resurrection to JUDGEMENT occurs.

Jesus, whose end is peace needs to be in our mind. Laws will be erased from books like crazy, had that be. People will know it being set free, not worrying about being their relaxed selves.

( 2 Corinthians 5:7); We are "looking, watching, and Patiently waiting For CHRIST, Who Will Present ALL of The Body Of CHRIST, holy and unblameable and unreproveable, In His Sight, TO His Father, In Heaven, Where we Will Live Forever And Ever! MID-TOJT raptures:

(2) During The Time {God's 'Context'} of JACOB's {ISRAEL's} Trouble, there Will Be TWO "raptures":

a) one departure is of the TWO witnesses, killed, resurrected, and taken up ( Revelation 11:1-12)

b) the other departure is of the 144,000 "sealed virgins of TWELVE tribes ( Revelation 7:1-8) redeemed from the earth," and were "without fault before The Throne of God!" ( Revelation 14:1-5)
