What government was Paul talking about when he said to obey them? Romans 13:1-7 The USA is a capitalist nation first and a liberal or conservative somewhere down stream. Which do you prefer, the groups mentioned or the Trump supporters? I see them as being pretty much equal. I don't see many people turning the other cheek, believing in honesty and ethics.

Why has this become part of this discussion? Remember what Jesus told Nicodemus

"Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit."

    John 3:5-6 (KJV)

This might be a good time for prayer and guidance.

Like nations we as individuals inside the nation should do our best to walk in God's statutes. Pride and Haughtiness is what destroys nations. There is no geographic land mass that will be taken up before the Great tribulation.

Here's you Holy nation. ( The church!! )

Matthew 21:43. Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.

1 Peter 2:9. But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

According to scripture here's where the rest of the world stands.

Joel 3:2. I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.

As Christians we should be trying to pull as many people we can out of this battle! Instead of joining in on a vain fight that's been going on in the world since the beginning. That's flesh seeking fleshly things, " ON BOTH SIDES "

2 Timothy 2:4. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

Be the light you was called to be.

There's a harlot (religion) that rides each Beast. everyone of them are pagan religions that originated in Babylon.

The last Harlot is the Roman Universal/Catholic religion and it's nothing but ancient Roman paganism with bible in one hand where they have decreed that the laws set forth by the Creator for mankind to follow that would separate them from the pagans.... has been done away with. When YHWH"S laws can never be done away with by man.

Look up the Creed of Constantine, read the creed and then look up Daniel 7:25 and see where that verse was fulfilled at the Council of Nicea.

Every Church on earth is biblically lawless because of that Harlot. An protestant churches are her daughters.

YHWH always destroys mankind when they've gone too far in their sexual immorality. And we are off the chain in that area right now. And the Pope just said that God loves homosexuals. He's also a SJW Marxist and believes in man made Climate Change. Some Catholic Churches have already begun to talk about their sins against the environment and penance.

YHWH"s wrath on earth will be called proof of man made climate change.

I am going to call this the question from a old man loosing it. Does the Lord get mad at you or does he just deal with you one on one or how does he deal with it in other ways? Sorry I am getting old and do not understand things as good as I used to. Does he get mad, does he hold it against you or does he forgive you for everything he can and does he forgive you for the things you do wrong and wipe the slate clean when you ask for forgiveness so how does he deal with you when you do wrong? When I remember just what I wanted to ask I will put it back on here but thank you all if you can help me with this now. Amen I will come back and check this one. I really wish there was a easier way to answer these questions and that is about the only thing on this site I would change but it is a great site the best I have seen ever. I know I can use google but I know more than likely the people on here are honest and from the heart!

I agree, Richard Groom. Everything said by Paul, Peter, John is in complete harmony with what Jesus said in Matthew 24:9. The argument is that 24 is for the Jews. But that is a stretch. The chapter begins by telling us the Disciples of

"Jesus got together and asked Him about His Return and the End of the Age. The fact that they were Jews is inconsequential.

As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. "Tell us," they said,

"when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?"

    His response follows.

"Immediately after the Tribulation of those days

    "'the sun will be darkened,

    the moon will not give its light;

the stars will fall from the sky,

the heavenly bodies will be shaken.'

"Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth

will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven,

with power and great glory. And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call,

and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.

Even a cursory comparison of all the references in the New and Old Testament concerning the Last Days and the Return of Jesus, shows no deviation from the Timeline Jesus presents in 24:9. The idea that there is a pre-coming before the Coming, ignores the parallels and the words of Jesus. There isn't a single place in all of Scripture where a specific time is revealed for the Second Coming, that isn't in keeping with 24:9. And if there were a secret pre-coming, why didn't Jesus reveal it to His disciples, who came to Him privately?

Revelation tells us clearly that many will be persecuted and killed during the Tribulation, FOR THEIR TESTIMONY OF CHRIST. Revelation 7:14 "These are they who have come out of the great tribulation.

The Day of Wrath is the final hour, not the full 7 years.

    Hi Rod,

No, there are no scriptures that support that there were more people on earth than Adam and Eve. The scriptures you present only tells us how God made male and female. This is true for all humans. All of us come from dust and go back to dust. It does not say he only made two. I do not believe one married couple can produce the population we now have. I do not believe that the children of Adam and Eve married each other and reproduced. It is more logical to believe there were other people for them to marry.

This is just how I see it, and it doesn't change good or evil. It doesn't change God, but it does explain that Adam's children did not marry each other.

Adam and Eve are standing alone and that does tell us sin began with a man and his wife. All of humanity needs to know what that sin was.

This shows how what we hear is colored by what we think we know to the point it twists what is said into a falsehood. This is how witnesses at the trial spoke as they did, saying Jesus said He would destroy the (temporal) temple and rebuild it in 3 days. This same way of hearing is destroying an entire nation because people are doing the same with the words of our former president to fit their narrative.

First, the verse, you are in question is Mark 12:30 if we think about what Jesus says it is really simple you have to love the Lord with all of yourself. If your mind is not focused on the Lord then the rest of yourself will wander. With all the false preaching and people following these false preachers you have to stay focused on the word and the Lord. The lord already knew what today would be like so he put mind so we would not be lead astray. Stay focused on the Lord study your bible and pray. I hope this helps any more questions please feel free to ask or reach me in my email. Thank you.

I posted an incorrect reference about Numbers 10:29-33. I just gained some clarity from my confusion. Hobab was Moses' father-in-laws's son.(Moses' brother-in- law) It was Moses' father-in-law,Raguel, in the book of Exodus who had visited him sometime after he lead God's people out of Egypt. Raguel brought Moses' wife & two sons with him & he also gave Moses the idea of delegating the task of judging the disputes amongst the people to others as Moses was tiring himself out being the sole judge of the people. So I am assuming when Raguel declined Moses' request travel to the promise land, he returned home with Moses' wife and two sons. Did Moses ever see them(the wife & sons) again.

Firstly, you cannot isolate a scripture if it is linked to a continuous reading or a message. Verse 29 is a part of the consequences of not taking the way of wisdom, that way of truth judgement and understanding. Verse 25 is the turning point, setting to zero Godly counsel and scoffing at the reproof of the right path. What you sow is what you reap. God loves us, but he is also our judge.

The groups Kevin mentioned are Marxist/communist organizations who are hell bent on destroying our nation. Time to wake up America!!!
  • Peter Watson on Genesis 1 - 5 years ago
You say the reason Adam's rib was used to make Eve was because, "God knew that Adam needed a help mate and put him in a deep sleep to create Eve". That is not what is recorded in the Bible.

It was the LORD God who made Adam from the dust of the ground without a female counterpart.

God had already made man, male and female, in His image and likeness to have dominion over Eden.

If we look carefully we see that the LORD God imitated God's creation rather poorly, which is the reason why we have disease and death prevailing on the Earth today, because the Way-of-Eden -- God's Way-of-Life -- was usurped by an impostor.

In Numbers 10:29-33, did Moses father-in-law, Hobab, to whom departed from Moses returning to his homeland. The word 'they' was used, I have two questions. Was Moses' wife & two sons part of the they mentioned in 10:33 who returned to Midian with his father-in-law? And did Moses ever see his wife & sons again?

Today l a wake to know these times we are in should be lived fully day to day. So much unrest and danger surrounds us now. Warnings in the Bible tell us what to look out for. Covid going strong and people living in uneasy times. But our Father in Heaven has told us to turn to Him and His Son in times of trouble. Not the world of evilness. The Bright Light

Shining before us. His Strength and Love will carry us to the end. Stay on your knees!!!

1 Corinthians 5:9 in my Bible does cross-reference with 2 Corinthians 6:14 & also Ephesians 5:11. So when I look at all three, I see only one thought that is common to all - and it isn't 'fornication'. The common thought is: 'not to keep company', refuse fellowship, have no fellowship'. That is why these three verses were cross-referenced - not because of 'fornication'. You have placed this word there, or at least wanting to believe that these verses in all three passages are speaking about fornication.

Anyway, I have said this over & over again: you really need to read & interpret Scriptures as given & not force words & meanings into it that are not intended. You have this thing on your mind (& you still haven't explained from where you learned to read Scriptures this way), that all wickedness has its root in fornication. Yet, even with the 1 Corinthians 5:9 verse, you neglect to mention the other sins associated with that verse: covetous, extortioners, idolaters & even those in verse 11. Why are those sins omitted & fornication stands out? You're fixated on it & are forgetting the equal sinfulness of the other sins.

Mark 8:35-37: "For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it. For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?"

For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour".

    Sandra,

"For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth." Romans 10:4

Which law spells out forgiveness? Had I a choice to only break one of the ten in my lifetime, no matter which I choose, forgiveness isn't there. Righteousness by the law was fulfilled by only one person, the Lord Jesus. That righteousness is what is imputed to those who believe, therefore, those who believe are under no obligation to do, what only Jesus did. However, once the love of God is received it shows in the life of a believer, perhaps not always perfectly, but it grows in their earthly lifetime.

It is the pride of the flesh to think that before the law a person lacks nothing. Matthew 19:30

"Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith." Galatians 3:24

"To demonstrate our love for God and His Son, Jesus Christ, is to conduct our lives in harmony with the Ten Commandments." It is pride that attaches eternal life to the letter of the law. "For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ." 1John 1:17 The law is in the sphere of the work of the Holy Spirit, John 16:8, "And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment". Believers testify of Christ's, grace and truth. I have no doubt the Holy Spirit within a believer will not lead them to violate any of the ten commandments, because the righteousness of Christ exceeds the letter of the law.

Sandra, Are all your sins forgiven?

I'm unsure what you mean. The only qualification I know of for a Christian to partake of the Lord's Supper, is that he be born again of God's Spirit & comes before the Lord with a heart & conscience that harbours no sin or ill against anyone. He should set things right in his heart & with others before eating of the emblems that vividly remind him what Jesus has done for Him at Calvary. So it would by hypocritical for him to remember the Lord, giving thanks, yet still have a heart that stained with unconfessed sin.
  • Chris - In Reply on Revelation 21 - 5 years ago
I think you might be referring to the time of the Rapture of the Saints to be with the Lord before the Wrath of God is poured upon the unbelieving World. If so, then your reference is to the Anti-Christ, who is Satan incarnate, filled with all the evil that Satan desires to express. One could say, that he tries to establish his 'messiahship' on Earth deceiving many, replicating what Jesus did by His Coming from God many centuries ago as the true Messiah of all people.

2 Thessalonians chapter 2 gives one of the fullest accounts of that time & of Anti-Christ. Just to highlight the points:

    a. the Day of the Lord (the time when God's Judgement begins to fall) will commence by a falling away from Christ. In other words, the true Church will be seen after the fake 'Christians' turn away from the Lord.

    b. Anti-Christ will be revealed, coming as a peace-maker, but ultimately taking position in the Jewish Temple proclaiming that He is God. He produces many great signs & wonders that will deceive most people.

    c. But the day is coming when God will destroy both him & the spirit controlling him (Satan) casting them into the Lake of Fire.

    d. Finally, Paul iterates that he knows his readers better than how the world behaves, & he gives thanks for them. Why was he full of joy & confidence in them? Because they were chosen of God, from the beginning to not only be heirs of salvation but also called to salvation from the evil times ahead. In his previous letter ( 1 Thessalonians 5:9), Paul also wrote there: "God had not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ".

So those left on the Earth may not easily discern the evil in the Anti-Christ, since their own deeds are evil continually, but when Jesus returns to reign on the Earth, all people will see the Glory of God & the destruction He brings on the wicked remnant.
