I've sat here and read just about everyone comment concerning 82. 1st May I ask of how many of you just up a casted down any thought of there being other gods? How many of you truly went to our Father himself and asked for interpretation of this and waited for the Lord to give it to you? Lastly have most of you studied out some of the more convincing arguments conflicting of yours? I have to say I have many years in this area and I'm going to leave all of you with this. Ask and you shall be giving seek and you shall find knock band it will be opened into you. As much as all of you want to be right can you accept the answer he may give you if you are wrong? That seems to be the appropriate question.. if you already have the answer made up yourself it's pointless to ask. The holy spirit is a gentleman he won't force himself on you. Unfortunately only a 3rd of you will even understand what I'm saying. The "I know I'm rights, no need to ask" well I pray for the blinders to be removed before it's to late.

In Job 9:9, Job is referencing three celestial objects and alluding to the Power of GOD!

The three objects mentioned are all positioned and viewable in the Northern Hemisphere! Here, Job is saying, GOD is so Powerful he could move them to the Southern Hemisphere if he so wished, so how could Man(Job) possibly contend with God or his Power?

Job is so frustrated with trying to find out why he has been singled out for all his 'curses'(which were invoked by Satan), he is overwhelmed with the thought of contending with GODs Power to try to help himself! In essence he is answering back to Bilbads comments in the previous Chapter.

    1 Peter 1 v 13

We are to receive grace for the REVELATION of Christ .

that's when he comes it will be a full revelation, every eye will see him , and it will be in the glory of God . Men will seek to hide in the caves to escape the presence of God but we will receive the much needed Grace at that time ! Admiring Him etc . Even so come Lord Jesus !

The following verses tell us we need to live holy lives to the end .

    Sin is not an option.

  • Jesus and the Little Children - In Reply on John 6:53 - 5 years ago
Hi Carleton! Just thought I'd add one little detail to the aborted babies in danger of not going to heaven. We can all stop worrying about their souls. From mine studies I saw in Psalms and Proverbs, scriptures about the life of preborn children. Their substance is not hid from God.

In fact, Ezekiel 18:4 - Behold, ALL SOULS ARE MINE; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.

The Bible even says that in the womb, their days are recorded in a Book.

All of the aborted children (preborn), miscarried and stillborn, death by accidents or murder: their souls go to heaven immediately.

If we can see Jesus's response to the Pharisees comments and the disciples trying to pull the kids off of Jesus .... we will know that Jesus loves children: everything about them. I just believe every child taken by trauma are with Jesus in heaven now. They're alive somewhere. It's too heartbreaking to think of their lives being erased out of that Book. It's contrary to what we know about the character of Jesus.

    Mark 10:13-16

And they were bringing children to him that he might touch them, and the disciples rebuked them. But when Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them, "Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it." And he took them in his arms and blessed them, laying his hands on them.

There was a study on numbers 10-20 years after abortion was legalized, in the papers. The price of college went up 29% every year, due to reduction of college entrants. It's still going up every year. Ask anyone paying off student loans.

Not only that, but there is less people to pay taxes to support unemployed, under-employed, Medicare, social security, just to name a few.

It's like another sign of the times we are living in.

    Talk to you tomorrow, Brother.

    M. :)

Abraham was counted righteous when he gave up counting the stars and just believed God. " It was counted to him for righteousness, just as our obedience to God is counted for righteousness when we give up our own works.
  • Shelley - In Reply on John 2 - 5 years ago
The "righteous man" in James 5:16 has to be Christ. You can look at it two ways: Because we are in Christ, if we pray fervently it will accomplish what we pray for because it will be God's will; or, Jesus, the only righteous man to live, prayed for us in John 17, therefore his prayer will accomplish much.
  • BEING RECONCILED TO GOD - In Reply on 1 John 5:4 - 5 years ago
Richard, as long as we are on the side of life; there is still time to be reconciled, by the enduring Love of God.

    2 Corinthians 5: 16-21

All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is: in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

Stop here and read Exodus 33:11-23. And Luke 15:11-32. Hebrews 6:18 and 12:1-2

    Lastly, 1 John 1:9

Satan has demons that keep an eye on us: what we do, say, read. They're invisible "spies". Ephesians 6. Satan uses the info collected, to ACCUSE you at the throne of God. You feel those accusations. However the Holy Spirit is still with you, convicting you about your sins. He desires to reconcile these things and stop the torment in your mind.

1 John 2:1 names Jesus as your ADVOCATE: your attorney. And He's sitting right beside His Father in heaven, NOW. Your name is still written in the Book of Life.

It's time now for you to pray. Confess your heart. Receive the cleansing power that is in the shed blood of Jesus. 1 John 1:2. Jesus already paid for it. It will be well with your soul, afterwards.

We all need to run to, 1 John 1:2 as soon as sin happens. We are soul and spirit encased in flesh. All that Bible reading makes the spirit man get bigger than the sinful flesh and the gullible soul. Hebrews 12:2, said, to RUN THE RACE. Win!

I love you brother and never feel that you are alone in this. You're blessed.

Get to know God the Holy Spirit, who is The Spirit of Christ. Book of John, ch 16

The Lord Jesus Christ is the light that will drive the darkness away.

    He says:

"I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life" ( John 8:12).

"I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness" ( John 12:46).

He laid down his life on the cross and shed his blood to pay the penalty of all our sins. Then he was raised from the dead and ascended to the throne of God to plead with God our Father on our behalf ( 1 Corinthians 15:1-8; Hebrews chapter 2; 1 John chapter 2).

He has given us power by the gift of the Holy Ghost:

Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust ( 2 Peter 1:2-4).

If you draw near to God (only by Jesus Christ) the devil has no hold on you:

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you ( James 4:7).

Hello Richard, Have you ever had a born again repentance peace with God event in your life? Do you have this place of peace in your heart to go back to? Do you want to go back to that time in your heart where you had that peace and forgiveness? You have to want this to find repentance and power over willing sin. Pour out your heart, God in Jesus is a gatherer not a scatterer. Your confession is helpful too. Many are now praying because we know you are made like us, and we together can point each other back to peace. You do not need to answer any of my written questions they are for your heart only.

    Hebrews 10:26

"For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,"

Is the verse saying there no more chances if you keep sinning because no more sacrifice? If you keep sinning you can't sacrifice to make up for the sin. Like you toast?

This verse talk like it is referring to you being alive and no more sacrifice for sin. If it meant after death they would not need to say " remaineth no more sacrifice for sins".

Man this hard to learn...Does it mean something else maybe?

    Dear ones in christ,

What can we do at this situation. i think god is expecting to help the people going through big trouble. few weeks before i ask our church can we help the kids going through trouble , they dont have laptop or phone to do online school. lot of them commit suicide . yesterday i request , since last week through our harvest festival we collected 38000.00 dollar i thought our group is going to agree to do that help. including our priest they came against that, didnt say any reason for that. after that they start doing some work for one house belongs to church, then painting church. this is the reason God shutdown al churches He dont see most of the people doing proper work to follow god. we never thought this going to happen. our church was closed for several months now open next week. lot of people told me they will give some money to help those kids. harvest money they told our members it is for mission fund, people give lot of money. they was expecting we going to help some one through that money. if we looking to make our church so beautiful at this time, people have no change in thier mind. this problems is not going to resolved through god. we dont know what is gods plan. if possible please pray for this help, i like to do that work. i was very upset, i like to talk to one person who can encourage me. if possible give me a call. 832 -244 -2228

How about Hebrews 6 vs 4- 6, how can I come back to the lord after walking away and willfully sinning I cant seem to find peace with God, seems like I sinned away my day of grace, and know God is more real to me than ever. This horrible feeling like hell is waiting because I knew every time I sinned I was wrong.

I would like to add that God will call all sinners to His account in due time because in due time all will sin. We are born to trouble, bit we must understand the trouble that we are in, in order for a complete repentance to restore us to God's perfect Will in Jesus Christ.

  • LUKE 113-17 BEING PREGNANT WITH LIFE on 1 Corinthians 1 - 5 years ago
When I was a teenager, I went to a Catholic church with a friend. I wasn't greeted; I wasn't told to dress a certain way. It was in Latin; I didn't hear anything I could respond to or understand. People were kneeling, standing, kneeling, almost robotic. Then we all left. There was nothing memorable about the whole experience. My friend said I'd have to take classes and I said, "no thanks!" I had seen enough.

Years later I was born again and with zeal, went into street evangelizing right away. I had to tell everyone "about a Man, who knew all about my life." Like the woman at the well.

I remember, from the sidewalks, seeing the Catholics drive by their Church and raise their beers and laughing, as they drove by.

Some called out the priest's names.

I was really out there doing the work of an evangelist. Jesus was with me, helping me to slow down an unbeliever long enough to tell them "of a Man who loves them and can tell them the words of their life.

The Catholics were in cars, driving and drinking, and unreachable, by me and others who were out working the Harvest with the Holy Spirit.

One of the attributes of the Born Again experience, is a Desire, to tell other people what Jesus has done for You. We're to be fruitful and multiply. It's part of our DNA now. My works will go through the Fire of Jesus's Love some future day; and all the wood, hay and stubble will burn away. I'm ready for the Bema Seat of Jesus Christ.

For a fact, I know of many, many, Catholics who are confused and do not understand their religion: they were born and "baptized" into, as an infant. They do not really experience the the fire of Jesus's love for them. Spend a Friday night on a sidewalk out in front of your Church, sometime. Go ye, where your parishioners are gathered.

If you can't multiply and bear fruit for Jesus,

you might be like Elizabeth:a barren womb. It requires the impending birth of Jesus into our Lives, to make us FRUITFUL.

    Have you given birth?

  • Carleton - In Reply on John 6:53 - 5 years ago
Hello Mike, Everyone is born with a sin nature, but not everyone has sinned until they are held accountable by God the Father and he calls them to repentance in His Son Jesus Christ whom paid in advance a surety for the sins that will come. By baptizing an infant or a non-understanding person that God has not called to repentance a mis-understanding of the complete work at Calvary is at hand. The reformation was weak because the Kings of the countries were not able to accept citizenship separate from Baptism. Under pressure (for their lives) most reformers gave in an accepted infant Baptism while trying to still teach repentance for sins.

I have another question for you as a Catholic believer, why do some older Catholic Churches present Jesus in a casket up by the altar? I have personally witnessed this in two historic Catholic Churches.

    Andy,

I hate to break the news to you, but Baptism is essential to entering into the new covenant of Jesus just as circumcision was essential to entering the old testament covenant. I hope you are Baptized. Wouldn't want you to miss out. And once you are Baptized, your free will allows you to lose your innocence by sinning. Here is where your repentance comes in. If you don't repent, then one gets to go to the smoking section!

Jesus was very specific - Unless you are born of the water and the spirit (Baptism for short) you cannot enter the kingdom of Heaven. Not sure how that could be any clearer.

    blessings,

  • Andy G van den Berg - In Reply on John 6:53 - 5 years ago
    Mike,

The little children you referred to are the 'believers' that start their journey of repentance as babies ( Matthew 11:25; Luke 10:21; Romans 2:20; 1 Cor. 3:1; 1 Peter 2:2).

The word of God is spiritually discerned and not understood by the natural man ( 1 Cor. 2:14).

On the contrary: He that is spiritual judgeth all things ( 1 Cor. 2:15).
  • Andy G van den Berg - In Reply on John 6:53 - 5 years ago
Baptism is not able to save children or anyone else. Please read Hebrews 6:1,2; 9:4.

The word 'Repent' in different forms (repent, repentance, repented, repentest, repenteth, repenting, repentings) is mentioned 110 times in the KJV, and means a lot more than what people by nature have been conditioned to believe. The word 'repent' used in the New Testament was translated from the Greek word "metanoeo", and means to change, transform, to think differently or reconsider.

It is the key principle of all the teachings of Jesus Christ and the axiom (basis) of the Word of God and a prerequisite and primary requirement for the salvation of mankind. It actually means the changing of spirits - to turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God ( Acts 26:18).

For a better understanding and the 'spiritual truth' of what it means to repent, and learn how and by whom mankind has been deceived ( Rev. 12:9) and what people must do to be reunited with the true and living God, we invite you to seek Him according to the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive ( Matthew 7:7; John 14:17).

You need not that any man teach you ( Isaiah 54:13; 6:45; 1 John 2:27), as mankind follows after an image of a false god and a false Christ ( Matthew 24:24; Mark 13:22; Gal. 4:8; 2 Cor. 11:13-15; Rev. 12:9).

It is only by revelation of God that people will come to know the true Christ ( Daniel 12:4,9; Amos 3:7; Matthew 16:17; Luke 2:26; Romans 16:25; 1 Cor. 2:10; Gal. 1:16; Eph. 3:3,5; Rev. 1:1), and only then will you be able to overcome the spirit of this world ( 1 John 5:4; Rev. 3:21) and learn what 'True Repentance' means, and how this whole world has been deceived ( Rev. 12:9). It should also be remembered that it is a narrow way that leadeth unto 'Life', and few there be that find it ( Matthew 7:14).

LUKE 15:10. LIKEWISE, I SAY UNTO YOU, THERE IS JOY IN THE PRESENCE OF THE ANGELS OF GOD OVER ONE SINNER THAT REPENTETH.
  • Mike - In Reply on John 6:53 - 5 years ago
    Hi Carleton,

I'm not quite sure how the topic switched to infant baptism but now that you bring it up, I understand that there are a number of Protestant denominations that do not believe in infant Baptism. Is that expressly forbidden in the Bible? The Church from the beginning has always had infant Baptism. We don't wait to feed a baby until it decides on its own that it needs food. Baptism confers spiritual food, grace and without that, it can't go to Heaven (oh boy, am I going to hear about that one). We are born in sin and a sinful person cannot go to Heaven unless that sin has been removed. Jesus did die for our redemption but that does not void the need for baptism. He told Nicky that "unless a man be born again of water and the spirit He cannot enter the kingdom of Heaven". Jesus didn't specify that he couldn't be a baby either. There are also references in the Bible where Peter went to the Gentile's house under the guidance of the Holy Spirit and baptized the whole household. Can't believe that there weren't some babies in that mix. Just because we are born doesn't mean that we go to Heaven automatically. So, if we love our babies, then let's get them into Jesus family ASAP and then raise them in the Faith. The Jewish tradition set a good example when on the 8th day after birth the male child was circumcised as a "baptism" into the covenant with God. They didn't have any choice in the matter. This is why abortion is so horrific to God. As far as we know, that child will not get the opportunity to join the family of God. Only God's mercy will determine that condition - maybe Limbo - the place where the just went before the Redemption. Lots of questions to be answered when we get to Heaven. But until then, we need to do what is prudent. "Unless you be like little children..."
  • Tobias - In Reply on Colossians 3 - 5 years ago
And if getting to heaven is based on works, how do you ever know when enough was enough? People who sin are not pleasing God and will be convicted and condemned for it. Life will not be ok and there will be consequences one will have to face. No one is perfect and never can be. Jesus dying on the Cross paid our sin debt in full and for people who do not believe in his blood shed and reasoning and who he is will not go to heaven. There is absolute logic in Christianity since we were all born into sin like one who is born with a disability we NEEDED a sinless man, son of God, like Jesus Christ to be crucified in order to be set free from what occurred once Eve and Adam ate the fruit. Open KJV bible and ask for wisdom from God to open your eyes to the truth, you are already digging for it by coming to this page. Something must surely be missing and clearly it is you who needs it just as much as the rest of us. We all NEED Jesus.

    Dear Palm,

All things are possible with God, Palm. After all, we were all one before Martin Luther. Let us pray that Jesus wish to the Father ( John 17:21 kjv)

"That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me."

We should not underestimate the power of God, Palm. There is nothing that God cannot do. We need to stop our inter-famiily squabbles and come together as Christ wants. After all, we all have the same Master.

    AMDG,

    Mike
