Malachi 4:5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:

There is one prophet who is one of the two witnesses

Hebrews in Revelation 1:14 - His [Jesus] HEAD head and his hairs were WHITE white like wool, as WHITE white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; 15 And his feet like unto fine brass,

[Brass is made of copper which is REDDISH GOLDEN, not black] as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.

Bible book Song of Solomon 5:10 - My beloved is WHITE white and ruddy, the chiefest among ten thousand.

Bible book Lamentations 4:7 - Her Nazarites were purer than snow, they were WHITER whiter than milk, they were more ruddy in body than rubies, their polishing was of sapphire:

well in 1 Corinthians 15:33 Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.

2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

When you start doing what the Lord wants you to do you will find the unbelievers separate from you.

At least that was my experience.

There is only one god and there is only one son of god and the son does the will of the one god who is his father,Until you have this faith you are only teaching yourself because you do not have the holy spirit to teach you all things.

  • Aidan Melody - In Reply on Genesis 10 - 6 years ago
You may read and study a lot but Gods Wrath is one year long for it is the day of the lord and in that day God carries out his wrath,in bible prophesy a day usually equals one year and as this verse is dealing in normal years so to is God.

See Deot 8, so asking for King to lead them is against God's will.

Patience is the ability to wait upon God with the right attitude. So without faith it is impossible to have patience. Faith is the hand that reaches out to lay hold the grace of God.

    Origen (c. 244 AD):

Every soul that is born into flesh is soiled by the filth of wickedness and sin. And if it should seem necessary to do so, there may be added to the aforementioned considerations [referring to previous Scriptures cited that we all sin] the fact that in the Church, Baptism is given for the remission of sin; and according to the usage of the Church, Baptism is given even to infants. And indeed if there were nothing in infants which required a remission of sins and nothing in them pertinent to forgiveness, the grace of Baptism would seem superfluous. (Homilies on Leviticus 8:3)

The Church received from the Apostles the tradition of giving Baptism even to infants. For the Apostles, to whom were committed the secrets of divine mysteries, knew that there is in everyone the innate stains of sin, which must be washed away through water and the Spirit.

Cyprian of Carthage (c. 250 AD):

If, in the case of the worst sinners and of those who formerly sinned much against God, when afterwards they believe, the remission of their sins is granted and no one is held back from Baptism and grace, how much more, then, should an infant not be held back, who, having but recently been born, has done no sin [committed no personal sin], except that, born of the flesh according to Adam, he has contracted the contagion of that old Death from his first being born. (Letters 64:5 of Cyprian and his 66 colleagues in Council to Fidus)

Here are some excerpts from these early Church fathers. Origen & Cyprian seemed to veer off in relation to baptism & infants.

    Irenaeus (c. (late) 100 AD):

Having become disobedient, [Eve] was made the cause of death for herself and for the whole human race; so also Mary, betrothed to a man but nevertheless still a virgin, being obedient, was made the cause of salvation for herself and for the whole human race. Thus, the knot of Eve's disobedience was loosed by the obedience of Mary. What the virgin Eve had bound in unbelief, the Virgin Mary loosed through faith. But this man [of whom I have been speaking] is Adam, if truth be told, the first-formed man. We, however, are all from him; and as we are from him, we have inherited his title [of sin]. Indeed, through the first Adam, we offended God by not observing His command. Through the second Adam, however, we are reconciled, and are made obedient even unto death. For we were debtors to none other except to Him, whose commandment we transgressed at the beginning. (Against Heresies 3:22:4; 3:23:2; 5:16:3)

    Tertullian (c. 200 AD)

Finally, in every instance of vexation, contempt, and abhorrence, you pronounce the name of Satan. He it is whom we call the angel of wickedness, the author of every error, the corrupter of the whole world, through whom Man was deceived in the very beginning so that he transgressed the command of God. On account of his transgression Man was given over to death; and the whole human race, which was infected by his seed, was made the transmitter of condemnation. (The Testimony of the Soul 3:2, c. 200 AD).

Every verse has some prophetic relations. My understanding to the verse is this. Moses is a prophet and he wrote it for the children of God in the last generation, ie to us. In Matthew 24:34 - our Lord Jesus says Verily l say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things fulfilled. Before that He in verse 32 tells a parable. Now, learn a parable of fig tree: When his branch is yet tender: and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:so likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near :even at the doors. Matthew 24:33. In these last days Israel reborn in 1948 May 14 and attained 70 year old in 2018. Fig tree is metaphor of Jewish nation.

i totally agree. John the Baptist came and was like unto Elijah but not the actual Elijah. It could be any two people for whom God chooses.

We support two preachers that occasionally go and preach in Jerusalem. They get kicked, spit on, lives threatened, threatened with imprisonment which would happen if we didn't send so much money over there. Nothing has changed over there. Anyhow, maybe they are the two. We just don't know.

One of the guys we support we just noticed recently went to about 15 major US Cities wearing sackloth calling America to repent. He has seen in vision Russian planes flying over America. Years ago Pastor David Wilkerson in 1973 gave a long 50 minute prophecy and just about everything came to pass now. One was US Cities burning. The church must repent first.

Many American Christians are doing wickedly-they help steal land from Christian Palestinians, and many are sending money to build a 3rd temple (enough has already been sent to build 7 temples) when God made an end of sacrifice in 30 AD and destroyed all attempts since in 70 AD and again in 363 AD with tornadoes, earthquakes and fire coming from beneath every time they tried to rebuild under Emperor Julians' command to go rebuild. The church has much to repent of that is blasphemy in the eyes of God so we WILL see judgment if things don't change. These are just a few of the sins no one wants to talk. There is a pretty high rate of woman in the church having abortions now. That was unheard of 30 years ago. We in the church shouldn't need an Elijah or Moses to bring us to repentance. WE should search our hearts regularly. Judgment begins at the house of God. We need to be praying about getting our own lives right INDIVIDUALLY. I say individually because we are seeing the great apostasy Jesus said would happen as one of the last signs already in the churches, Bible colleges, etc. Jerusalem is not going to be the only nation judged in the end ( Revelation 11); all nations will be judged.

Many question who the two witnesses will be. The bible don't say. They could be anyone. Maybe you and me. Some think Moses and Elijah or two of the old prohets. No one knows until they come.

You can use the search box to pull up all angel(s) scriptures and do a more complete study on them.

I'm pretty sure there isn't going to be any dating in heaven. ;)

Human people in the The Great Tribulation that get born again and manage to survive 7 years of hell on earth: will still be human in heaven. Until the Great White Throne Judgement takes place. Satan will be loosed to tempt them a short time. If they fail to resist, they may go with satan back to hell forever.

    Who wants to risk that!?

You need to stay in Luke 15. Backsliding isn't really enjoyable. When all your money is gone, all those good pals move on.

The more you stray, the more you struggle to come back home where you are loved.

The conviction in your heart means the Holy Spirit is still dealing with you.

There's a stronger word written in Deuteronomy 30:14-19

I wish someone had told me that when I was younger. I wasted a lot of years.

When you are Born Again, John 3:3-21, you will receive help from the in dwelling of the Holy Spirit. He will guide you into all Truth.

Confess weakness at 1 John 1:9. Every day if need be. Receive strength. Gods mercies are new EVERY morning. Remember to thank Him for it.

Satan hates to lose one; but you make it clear that he has NO claim on you.

You wrote in. I think you are going to make it. I pray The Lord would reveal His Glory and blessing on you; keep His hand on your Life and strengthen you.

Build a little block of time in your days to spend in the Bible. Read the Gospels how strong and focused Jesus was. How aware of the people around him, he was. He didn't talk over their heads. He spoke plainly and openly.

If Jesus had 99 sheep in the fold and you had wandered a distanceHe would come find you.
