I so appreciate your list of hymns!
I have chill bumps. The Holy Spirit lifted my soul. I know every song on your list. It is the hymns we sang in our youth, hidden in our hearts. Sing each often. God Be With Us, Always.
If a scientist would break down those drops he would find a myriad of poisons. This is just one example of a witch. The Lord refers to it as of the sin of rebellion. The sin of witchcraft is as of the sin of rebellion. That sin of rebellion in the above example would be: That witch that walked through your door did not regard the law as pertaining to them, with that vile of poison, when committed over a long period of time, can kill you. A long and slow death. Of which they watch as ritual, a person dying directly of that deed. Did they know there is a law that regards unlawful illegal entry as breaking and entering, now with poison, is an intent to kill? And how many times was that act committed against an unwitting person? And the higher a witch gets into politics, the more above the law the more the deed is covered by other members of the community, law enforcement, etc. It becomes an object of fascination, which leads to more acts of the same kind, against more unwitting participants.
If you found that your heart attacks were not natural events, but as an act of poisoning what would be your reactions. Or that cancer, leukemia, stroke, lung diseases, crippling "arthritis" because that witch had their way with you. The Lord protects. But witchcraft is of the sin of rebellion. Meaning, defiance. Many have defied the Lord. So, to rephrase it, witchcraft is defiance of all laws, Gods, Mans, and against the unspoken bonds of trust. A child, a family pet, your Mother, Son, etc. Now, if you were watching a loved one dying a torturous death, knowing, would you want to kill? God gives permission.
There's a search box; a commentary box, and other translations. Helpful to look up things quick.
I found 1Corinthians 15:39 and Romans 8:19 on to be wonderful reads. So yes, they go to heaven.
Additionally, I have wondered whether when we die and leave here do we keep our earthly memories (good and bad) but I feel according to Isaiah 65:16-17 "...: because the former troubles are forgotten and because they are hid from mine eyes." "For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, or come into mind."
I also believe that I have read a scripture where we remember "our own" so we will see our own family and pets in heaven but no sorrow will be associated with them just joy.
I hope this helps you. It did me.
Keep reading the Word, it is full of treasures and guidance. I've read it through 3 times, now on my fourth and each time the treasures and guidance increase. Every word means something.
Also, people's comments and Matthew Henry's commentaries inspire me.
God knows I adore rain with lightning because to me, I am seeing and hearing His voice. I know every attribute of Him and his Glory. I've had an awareness of God since I was 4. He wasn't a playmate! But He would be interested in things I would build: habitats. We like the same things. And we love beauty in the clouds.
I wish everybody could enjoy the same awareness and closeness. I always thank Him for His time. I don't have to be in Church to sing to Him. He might put cotton in His ears, because I sound like a frog with a cold.
John 19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, IT IS FINISHED: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost. ---- NOTHING CAN BE ADDED
Matthew 12:39 But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:
Jeremiah 51:34 Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon hath devoured me, he hath crushed me, he hath made me an empty vessel, he hath swallowed me up like a dragon, he hath filled his belly with my delicates, he hath cast me out.
But in the case of Genesis 1:21,it speaks of the "swallowing up of death" by life which becomes a source of the praise of God by His people among the nations of this world. The "saying"the praise of Godcomes to pass: "death is swallowed up in victory".
1 Corinthians 15:54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.(55) O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
Death is swallowed up of life.
2 Corinthians 5:4 For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.
In Isaiah ch 25,it opens with the praise of God.
Isaiah 25:1 O LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.
And tells us that He will swallow up death in victory and we will be glad and rejoice in His salvation.
Isaiah 25:7 And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations.(8) He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.(9) And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in His salvation.
Fill the waters in the seas.that is, fill the praise of God before all of the nations (seas) of the world. The waters are people, languages, etc. The earth shall be filled with knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea.
Isaiah 11:9-10 KJV They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. (10) And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.
Let fowl multiply in the earth.that is, words of His praise will be multiplied before all of the nations of this world. Praise the LORD, all you nationspraise Him all you people. We are to praise Him for His mercy, kindness and the revealing of His Truth.
Psalms 117:1-2 KJV O praise the LORD, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people. (2) For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the LORD endureth for ever. Praise ye the LORD.
I will confess/praise/thank Him among the nations (gentiles) and sing unto His name. Let fowl multiply in the earththat is, words/songs of God's praise and thanksgiving to Him among all nations of this world. The words of His praise multiply and fly through the air for the nations to hear. We, His people, are to abound with His praiseglorifying God before all nations.
Romans 15:8 Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:(9) And that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy name.(10) And again he saith, Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people.(11) And again, Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles; and laud him, all ye people.
If my understanding is missing some important parts, please share. I would greatly appreciate the help. This passage helps me overcome my fear of confusion when reading the Bible.
