I've done a thorough search for what you seek & have come up empty-handed. However, the closest verses that subscribe to your request, may be found in Ezra 7:25,26. You can read it, but for more clarity I would paraphrase it thus: "Ezra, using your God-given wisdom, set magistrates & judges who know the laws of thy God, to judge all people beyond the river & teach them that don't know the laws. And whoever does not obey the laws of God & the king, let judgement be executed speedily.....". So the implication is that both the laws of God & the laws of the land are to be obeyed. I hope this helps.

This parable of th sower and his seed is about a heavenly seed that is gonna form Christ in us,ya gotta realize that th sower is the bridegroom, he is gonna sow a Godly seed in US a kingdom seed, he said that good seed is the WORD of the kingdom,He wants to multiply himself in humanity. The child is the H.G. as that which is Born of the spirit is SPIRIT.Whosoever receives one such child in my name receives me thats y he refers to the H.G.. as the Promise, simply b/c the H.G is the multiplication of Christ in US via his seed th WORD.And the H.G IS GOD in us Immanuel God with US.When Isaiah saw the kingdom coming he says unto US A CHILD IS BORN.Jesus says unless ya receive the Kingdom as a lil child impling a birth of Christ in US,Thus the Babes and suckling are Spirits the H.G PLURAL that will result from his seed the WORD,BEING BORNAGAIN OF AN INCORRUPTIBLE SEED EVEN BY THE words OF God.Thats y he always refers to himself as tHE SON OF MAN,Mankind needs to birth Christ in his life.gbu

I think the above comments are on point. Also, there are 3 things knowing the scriptures do: 1. Edification; 2. Increase in God's knowledge and wisdom; 3. For warfare.

But we must turn to Jesus for salvation. The scriptures instruct us on how to obtain salvation, they tell us the benefits of salvation, they also tell us the consequences of not accepting Jesus as our Saviour, but the written scriptures in and of themselves, cannot give us eternal life. They can only lead us to eternal life.

Patricia, you being a professing christian and all, might want to consider this verse that God had Paul put in His Boo.

But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over a man, but to be in silience. 1 Tim 2:12

Women are not to teach, their duty is to their husband, to guide the household and to submit to her husband. She is not to teach, but to learn at home. It is a sin against God for any woman to teach

Amen. We all have freewill and the evil people choose sometimes affects the innocent. But the Lord will comfort us when we seek His face.

My other comments: This is a Gk. word which commonly means, 'any gathering or assembly of people', but biblically, 'a company of believers gathered for worship/who have put their trust in Jesus, including those assemblies that gather throughout the world'. Jesus first spoke to disciple Peter ( Mt 16:18) when He said: "That thou are Peter (Stone, Petros) & upon this Rock (Petra) I will build My Church (Ekklesia) & the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it". Here, Jesus had earlier asked Peter, "Whom do you say I am". He replied, "Thou art the Christ, the Son of the Living God". So Jesus makes a play on words: Stone: Petros & Rock: Petra; saying then, "Your name means a Stone but upon this other Stone (Rock), i.e. the declaration you have just made to Jesus' Divinity, is on what My Church will be built. RCs fuse the two together believing that Christ's Church was built upon Peter & so the papal line.
  • Chris - In Reply on Ephesians 3 - 6 years ago
The Church which is built on Jesus' life, death & resurrection is generally referred to as Ekklesia. Debra, I had tried to send more information but it never gets through (as with some other responses), so I'll see if I can send some more again.

Go to amazingfacts.org and look at their on line library. Found under Bible studies link. There you will find a book discussing the secret Rapture. This will give you lots of scripture. You be the judge of the book if it is truthful (God,s Truth) or the other side of the secret Rapture doctrine is correct.

Veronica. There was a rebellion in Heaven. You know the story I assume. Now there was disobedience on Earth caused by the spirit of Satan. God must destroy this Spirit , however if he had did this in the Garden of Eden , the other two thirds of loyal Angels would always have room to suspect that Satan the great accuser was right. Now this planet as become a Theator to the loyal Angels and other unfallen world's.. Sin must run it's course. God will bring a end to all of this. The war started only 6000 years ago. That is only like 6 days to our God. There is a Bible text that Is written in the New Testimont that supports our world being watched by Angels and other unfallen world's.

Thank you to all who have answered my question. I love being able to ask questions and actually getting responses. Part of the reason why I never finished reading the Bible as a child is because I had no one to answer my questions.I have downloaded the pdf of the KJB, but prefer the online version for this reason. Thanks again to all and God Bless.

Tricia Browne, yoga is definitely a four-letter word to mainstream Christianity however it is because mainstream Christianity has an extreme bias because they are deathly afraid of letting the Devil into your head because they are afraid of the other four-letter word meditation. Meditation and yoga make Christianity crazy. So, when John the Revelator was "in the spirit", precisely what does that actually mean? Being "in the spirit" IS meditation!!!!!! If so then - and it is - why wasn't John afraid that the Devil was actually in his mind controlling him? Not one word of fear from John since John was INTENTIONALLY being in the spirit or he was INTENTIONALLY meditating and was unafraid of the Devil getting into his mind. YOU Tricia shouldn't be afraid either. Relax and close your eyes and realize that ONLY The Lord will enter your Temple of God - your body - not the Devil. Read Revelation 3:20 as the Lord wants to come into your Temple and "sup" with you - and you with Him.

Samuel Kim: if you use the search box when this site opens, type Lucifer. It will pull up all scriptures with that name/word. His name changed when he and the fallen angels got kicked out of Heaven; again for saying I WILL.

In Genesis 1:1 it says 'on the beginning'. I was told that in original language it says, IN BEGINNING God created the heaven and the earth.

The first thing that God created was TIME. Scripture says that God is the Alpha and Omega. (Which means the beginning and the end)of creation.

We understand from Numbers 20:7-13, that Moses disobeyed God at the waters of Meribah by striking & not speaking to the rock to bring out much needed water. As well, there seems to be a failure by Moses to give God the Glory for this miracle & allowed the people to assume that it was done in his own power. So Moses was prevented from entering the Promised Land but could only view it afar off ( Deut 34) & died there on top of Mt. Pisgah & God buried him in the land of Moab, in a place not revealed (v6).

All the comments and scriptures given in regards to your questions are great, consider also Romans 8:1-End (There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.) Also, Eph. 1:7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace. We pray for peace onto her mind, body, and soul.

SHARRON: your take on the Godhead is total error. You base what you think on the day of Pentecost.

I'm not going to belabor with this. In Genesis 1:26 God said LET US. He said it in Genesis 11:7..LET US, and again in Genesis 3:22. That was the Father, the Word (Jesus before incarnation) and God the Holy Spirit. They were talking together. Again, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit (who is the Spirit of Christ). The Trinity or, the Triune Godhead. Same thing. Long ago someone said to me, The Father willed it, the Son spoke it and the Holy Spirit performed it.

    God created

    God moved

    God said

    God saw

    God divided

    God made

    God set them

    God blessed

    God formed

    God planted

    God to grow

    God took the man

    God commanded

    God caused

    God Walking in the garden

    God clothed them

    God sent

    God drove out

God is involved in every facet of our lives. Adam & Eve did wrong; in his mercy God made them clothing! It's not about tongues. It's about the GOSPEL of Jesus.

Felix, there is no difference in those names. The word "Ghost" essentially means 'Spirit'; so it's just another way of referring to God's Holy Spirit.
  • Chris - In Reply on Psalms 23:1 - 6 years ago
Rei, Psalm 23 was written by King David as a personal testimony of God's faithfulness in his life. David was once a shepherd, but now he says that I am the sheep & rejoicing & confident in my Great Shepherd's love, care & leading. As believers, we use this Psalm joyfully, as we have also proven the faithfulness of the Lord in our lives, or we cling onto its Truths if we are going through some difficulty. When we try to align this Psalm for children who have suffered because of wicked people, we really cannot do it, except to know that these little ones do have a caring, watchful Father ( Mt 18:10: "in Heaven their (the childrens') angels do always behold the Face of My Father Which is in Heaven"). God is mindful of their suffering & these criminals will not go unpunished. We all suffer, even innocent children because of the nature of sin, & even though the scars are lifelong, when we turn & cling to the Lord, He gives healing, real love & comfort.

Erica Tirado, Read and understand the promise @ Revelation 3:20. This has NOTHING to do with being saved. Instead it has everything to do with your own personal Temple of the Living God - your body. Your body is the real temple. God Almighty in heaven is right outside your temple and is knocking at the "door" to your temple. Ask Him to come into your temple and He promises to "sup" with you - and you with Him. That is heavyweight!! Before you do realize it isn't Joe Sixpack down the road. You are inviting The Lord God Almighty who throws gas balls around the Universe. So make your temple circumspect before the Lord then invite Him in and you both sup with each other. Trust me.
  • Wolfen244 - In Reply on Revelation 1 - 6 years ago
Bob Hilt, no offense but Rev. 2:5 has an entirely different meaning than what you posted. It is in answer to Rev. 2:4, not about being saved or anything like that. Put it back into context and it will be a bit clearer. Remember 100% of Revelation is figurative not literal. Keep that in mind. "sent and SIGNIFY" not just communicate as modern bibles have these days. Signify means signs or figurative speech not literal speech or writing.

    The best to you.
