Psalm 91 looks like it could refer to the present pandemic. However, the message there is that the LORD Whom we trust in, is well able to keep us & protect us from this & all evils that may be before us. We need to shelter under His Wings, look steadfastly into His Face, & have the Mind of Christ ( Phil 2:5) in our responses to others. How am I doing in all this Doing well, by His immeasurable Grace, as He continues to minister in His Own special ways. I feel for those who do not have this blessed benefit, as they suffer with isolation, without jobs, & fear of the unknown. We are on the cusp of a whole new world outlook, as was with 9/11, so praying it will bring on a spiritual awakening.

Luke 6:29: "& unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek, offer also the other; & him that taketh away thy cloak, forbid not to take thy coat also". When Jesus spoke those words, He showed the example of love and non-retaliation that we as believers need to exhibit to those who despise us.This is a great testimony of the love of Christ that no man can speak against. It IS hard to perform, especially in a culture where the opposite is the norm, but we are called to live on a higher plane. You are right: to pray for them ( Mt 5:44), to speak gently to them ( Prov 15:1), & give them space to reflect & maybe reconcile ( Mt 5:24). And to "offer your coat" meant that one would be cold in the Winter.
  • Chris on 1 Corinthians 11:26 - 6 years ago
I have never heard of it as being in the Bible & after a search, I couldn't find the phrase. More likely, just a colloquial phrase in today's speech, to give some measure of comfort & assurance that most of our present sorrows will diminish or dissolve.
  • Chris on Matthew 15 - 6 years ago
I quite agree. Christianity is to the World, just another religion, when in fact they should see it as a people changed and enjoying an abundant life: lives living beyond the carnal grips & deceptions of the world. We send out missionaries, who do a mighty work, we give our prayer & financial support to them, but at home our lives rarely demonstrate the finished work at the Cross. We stay mute when unborn babies are murdered, when homosexuality is given free rein, when convicted murderers & rapists are freed to repeat their wicked acts on innocents, & when lies & carnality become truth & purity. Many of the apostles died horrible deaths for the Gospel's sake AND for their stand against evil.
  • Becky on Isaiah 43 - 6 years ago
Isaiah 43 answers all my questions. God's people are precious in his sight. Every one called by His name he created for His glory. He formed us. My long standing question of whether God and Christ and the Holy Spirit are One. 43:11, "I am the Lord: and beside me there is no Savior." Jesus was God in the flesh. I trust now that the Holy Spirit is God our Comforter. We are here to do His work and bring His people to Him. He is always with us even as we die and in that twinkling are then with Him in Heaven. God bless all of you. Your comments inspire me. This KJVonline Bible has been a God send to me. Thank you to those who keep it up for us.
  • Chris on Zechariah 9:13 - 6 years ago
The only two references that come up are in Joshua 9:5,12; and these are spelt the U.K. way: mould. These references don't give the same application as your references to moth and rust, but to the deception by the Gibeonites when they went to visit Joshua.
  • Chris - In Reply on Isaiah 45:5 - 6 years ago
In keeping with the painful & worrying times we are in for many people, as the children of God, "when these things come to pass, then LOOK UP, for your redemption draweth nigh". Lk 21:28. Blessings & His Power on you too, Debra, as we continue in prayer & witness to those around us of our "so great salvation".

If God asked you. are you confident in your salvation What would you think He meant
  • Chris - In Reply on Psalms 89:47 - 6 years ago
Thanks Bob,your comments are appreciated & well received. It is good to read that you are so firmly grounded & know that the KJV is based solidly on the trustworthy Textus Receptus. Yet for those who differ, I do not judge, but see an opportunity to discuss by text/original comparisons to bring us to Light & knowing our LORD's Mind. One of my pet discussions with our JW visitors, is Colossians 1:15: "Who (Jesus) is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature". The Gk. here is 'prototokos=first + to give birth to. JWs use (via a bad text. translation), 'protokitises'=first + created, which is not a biblical word. Similar, but a small change can bring on such a big error.
  • Trapp on 2 Peter 1:20 - 6 years ago
I totally agree with you. Interpretation of scripture, does not come from man but from God (by his Spirit. Romans 8:8-9. The Bible itself is the inspired Word of God and men wrote the bible as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. So even the prophets of old ( Moses, David King Solomon, etc) those that wrote scripture, did not write of themselves, but wrote as the Spirit of God rested on them.
  • Fred Scanlan - In Reply on John 3 - 6 years ago
Gods word must have free course in its entire meaning. Christ chose simple working righteous men, who new the prophecy of the coming savior. Jesus chose people with a pure heart.Like today,we Christians too, look for his returning. These apostles and disciples, were I witness to His majesty while He was here on the earth. These men,who were chosen of God, were moved by the Holy Spirit to write what you see in this KJV. When you read these words you are reading the words of men (moved) by Spirit of God. New interpretations create space we don't need! There is only ONE Holy Spirit! Remember, the Spirit must have free course with each believer. This is how we are set free from sin and hell.

I'm trying to find a vetse that shows reverence to mary the mother of jesus. Why we should pray to her for intervention. Why is she the heavenly mother to us all.

Malachi Chapter 4:3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do [this], saith the LORD of hosts.

4 Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, [with] the statutes and judgments.

5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:

6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

The two witnesses are the two Olive trees and the two lamp stands. Search the scriptures and see who the two Olive trees and two lamp stands are.
  • Joshua - In Reply on Matthew 7:11 - 6 years ago
Look at Luke 11:13, which further edifies this verse. "If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the HOLY SPIRIT to them that ask him" The good things spoken of by Jesus here are SPIRITUAL things. ETERNAL things. Eternal life. Not temporal things. Not fleshly things.

Most of this World has been given up to the host of heaven.

I have a question about YAHUWEH and YAHUSHUA.

The original scriptures were changed by the Scripes after Babylonian captivity

Another day is Dawning, Another day's begun. Another day to turn to God and pray, "thy will be done." A day to slay Doubt's- as you give yourself to Him. A Day to live with Purpose. A Day to Share God's Blessings- in quiet countless ways; that touch the Heart with Hope and Joy, and Brighten Cloudy Days. A Day for rejoicing, for Gratitude and Praise; Because His Love Holds you- Both Now, and all your Days. A Day to Believe- and have Faith in the Prayer you just Prayed- That Good is to come to you that day. For Prayer is Strong, no matter what might go wrong. Never Doubt what you ask, for Your Faith He wants to See. For Faith and Prayer go hand in hand- and the Reward, You will See!!! Amen

Dee. Right on....So true. Instead of being in fear- Get down on your knees and tell God you are so sorry for the human race that condemned Him for starting this. It is to be respected for what and why it was. Respect others. No self any more. No rushing around anymore. Stop..Look..what God gave you. Respect God and His Son Jesus for what they did for you. Read His word the Bible. Notice how short your life can be now. Celebrate instead of complaining about your day. God is good. God is mighty. God can change your day within a second. Never think you are in control. You are not!!!

Thank God everyday. Look at His Creations and thank him for showing you each time you notice. Praise Him everyday

I fill that the Bible is fulling. Because America needs to get back to basics of turning back to the Lord. It is too much in our homes

Sin, greed and jealousy. They do not have any morals or respect any more. There is jealousy, greed in our Churches, homes and in the workplace. Everyone seems to be for self. We are to help each other and to the Lord work

People are not paying attention and listening to what is really going on. Life is too short with what is going on around us

In the crisis we are in today.

    Psalm 34:7-9 NIV

7 The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them. 8 Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. 9 Fear the Lord, you his holy people, for those who fear him lack nothing.

With the Holy Spirit, from the rafters to the basement; go through everything you have. If He says get rid of it, do it no matter the value of the object. Books, pictures; BURN. Acts 19:19. Those aren't friendly spirits...they are Jesus hating Demons. If they can't be inside you , they will inhabit where they legally have a right. You have some kind of idols, dark music, tshirts, etc. Go back to a Christian church. You need the covering.

Since no one in here believes me, then believe Jeff Fenholt who was lead singer of Black Sabbath. Find his testimony: maybe YouTube or his ministry website Same stuff happened to him.

Everybody else, get RID of horoscope paraphernalia asap. Demons love it

Joel 2:31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come. Acts 2:20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:

Revelation 6:12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; (This is toward the end of the tribulation)

TV preachers will do anything to get you to buy their books for only 19.95

Sharon I believe you are referring to Leviticus 14 as mold was also called mildew in the Bible. Mold is a serious health issue. 37 And he shall look on the plague, and, behold, if the plague be in the walls of the house with hollow strakes, greenish or reddish, which in sight are lower than the wall;....
