Matthew 15:24 But he (Jesus) answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
Amos 3:2 You (Israel) only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities.
Revelation 21:12 And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:
Just curious where the 13th gentile gate is to new Jerusalem?

It don't matter what you think, it matters what God's word says. It matters what you think when you're inline with God's word. You're out of line In what I've read. Do you know Jesus by works or by faith? He who believes in him is not condemned. How do you know Jesus? Who sent Jesus? The Father. Who sent Peter to Cornelius? God. Cornelius was Gentile. Read the book of Acts and all the epistles. Read John 3:16. If you're a believer all things have passed away. You're a new creature. There is no Jew or Gentile according to the flesh. But you're a Jew inwardly if you believe in Jesus.

Jesus already said exactly who he came for. Luke 19:10, Mark 2:17. He came for the lost and sinners. Who is lost and a sinner? Romans 3:23 - Everyone. So, Jesus came for everyone- that's exactly what the Bible says. Jesus gave a firm warning to those who try to deceive others by twisting or denying what Jesus said: Mark 8:38, 1 John 2:22-23.

Every messianic jew I have conversed with claims the new testament was originally in Hebrew then mistranslated into Greek by antisemitic Greeks. There are thousands of New testament Greek manuscripts and ZERO Hebrew
So is the new testament antisemitic? they claim it is. Read chapters of John 6 and John 8 see who Jesus was speaking to, not the Romans. I have a bachelors in theology and a masters degree in ministry. I have studied this issue in depth.
Q: Did Jesus take the Kingdom of God from the Jews?

A: Mat 21:43 - Therefore say I (Jesus speaks to Jews) unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof. GREEKS

Good for you for being an encouragement to others- a light in a dark world is what we're called to be. Believing is usually a matter of the heart, not necessarily intellectual arguments. So, I would pray for him and just show love as a Christian would to others. When people see that light and your joy they will become curious and maybe open their heart to learning about Jesus. May God bless you!

Yeshua is Lucifer per the Complete (Messianic) Jewish Bible by author David Stern
The MORNING STAR (Lucifer in the KJV) who FELL from heaven is in Isaiah 14 who goes to the pit.
Yeshua is the MORNING STAR of Revelation 22. This is what Messianic Jews teach and believe
according to the Complete Jewish Bible by David Stern a messianic Jew.
messianic Jews why do they HATE the name JESUS?
Why do they refuse to be called Christians?
Matthew 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
Act 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men,
    whereby we must be saved

There are many people that do not believe in Christ at my school and they say they were a mistake because their parents had them on accident and that they are an atheist because they don't believe in God because they believe they have no purpose in life. I always tell them that everyone serves a purpose whether it be to work at a restaurant or to be a pastor but they say that if i stay out of their business then maybe they would actually like me. I made friends with an atheist and I tell him about God all the time and He'll just be arguing with me asking questions and I answer them and he just does not believe me because he feels as if he is worthless. What should I do?
  • Cheyennathompsonmypcboenet on 2 Chronicles 7:14 - 6 years ago
I agree, he made us to serve a purpose and i believe that he is my father and that is why I love him. And he is always there for me when I need him even if I am being a little hard headed.

Angry is a passive word. Meaning be ye being angered. Moses is the best example Num. 20 God rebuked him for his unbelief and in ps 106 God was not pleased with that expression. Eph 4 says put away all anger. If we would believe God is truly working all all all thing for good we would not sin. Whatsoever is not of faith is sin! This is my view on this and God is giving me victory through this.

Luke 16:16 The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.
Galatians:10 Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years. (11) I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain.
Matthew 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets

Thank you Father for the Word of Everlasting Light. O the Greatest Story Ever Told and Recorded for the Joy of every Believer in Jesus Christ. I long for the New Jerusalem in which the Glory of the Lord will be the EVERLASTING LIGHT! Praise, Glory and Honor belong only to the Lamb of God which was slain on a Cross and the Blood that was shed for the Repentant sinner. HALLELUJAH! Our God Almighty Reigns yesterday, today and forevermore!

If Jacob was a syrian so was Issac and Abraham and Terah They were uncircumcised but Abraham received the Promise and became the father of the circumcision and the uncircumcision Jew and Gentile a like. Thus th new covenant comes on the Gentiles thru Abraham the father of the circumcision and the uncircumcision th Gentiles.Thats y Jesus spoke of Naaman the syrian a leper being healed b/f any of the Jews.God always had the Gentiles in mind. Solomon made intercession for the Gentiles approx a 1000 yrs b/f Christ when he didicated his new temple. All of Christ disciples were Jews but they ALL had to be bornagain.Jesus only refers to the H.G. as the Promise not any human.Only a New Creature.GBU

There is no more Jew or Gentile in Christ Jesus,he took of the twain Jew or Gentile and made 1 newman which is the H.G our new innerman that is formed in us via the seed of Christ. The curse of Adam was passed on to all men thus the blood of Christ has to be applied to all men.If i be lifted up i will draw all men unto me ALL MEN .GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD ETC.Jesus tells Nic. a Jew he had to be bornagain a teacher of the law. There was none righteous no not one. Thus israel needed to BE REBORN.By one spirit are we all baptised into the body of CHRIST JEW OR GENTILE BOND OR FREE.Peter was jewish but he teaches his ppl they must be bornagain of an incorruptible seed even by the word of God etc gbu

6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for a all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, b pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. Matthew 24:6-8

I have pondered this one for years but I prayed to the Holy Spirit a moment ago for help with this controversial passage, then went back to the verse and saw your old post. Seems very reasonable and scripturaly sound so I am blessed by your comment as I continue my study! God bless you!

I believe that Matthew 24 is referring to Jesus's return in the "Rapture". Is this true?
  • PT on 1 Timothy 2:12 - 6 years ago
Key words.... "But I" not God, but Paul is saying personally himself and gave the reasons why. If a pastor take over a church there may be rules of conduct
from the organization or former pastor. It's always important to know what is God and what is "I". I believe Paul had good reason for this and gave this counsel to Timothy as a young pastor. There are definitely preachers and teachers in the bible like Deborah the prophetess in Judges, Priscilla and Aquila in Acts. Paul was concerned with the women absurbing authority over the man (becoming the pastor or shepherd). Guess what, he was right! In some cases this has happened. Women can not cover the man, but them preaching is not sin.

God punishes Egypt for their sins against him, slavery and idolatry to name a few. God promises a civil war and the drying up of the Nile river as punishment. But after His judgement, God will allow Egypt to heal. He will allow peace between Egypt, Israel, and Assyria and the people of Egypt will be His people at last. There's always a chance of redemption for all of us, God gives us that chance. It's important to remember that and not let the chance we are given be in vain. Use the chance each one of us is given for nothing but our constant improvement.

Being in service to the Lord won't always be filled with happy days. Job suffered so greatly and lost all his friends to the Lord's cause. Of course, it was all according to His plan. Job lost people that didn't really believe in him and ended up mocking him. Nevertheless Job is human, and we struggle to hold out our faith in God because of the trials we're put through, and that's okay. It's okay to doubt as long as we still remain on our course.
