Because of the seriousness of leprosy, many thought that the victim gets it due to their sinfulness. To take care that others would not get the disease, the infected would be separated from the rest of the community, thus starting the conception of someone being sinful. This is still a regular occurrence today, how do most people treat those with an affliction different from us like sexuality? Physical disorders? God later teaches us to love people afflicted with leprosy, but this helped start the fear mongering of people being different from the average person.

In this chapter, we see how commendable Solomon's perception towards God used to be before his death. He made a temple not hoping to contain God, but as a place to cherish Him and maybe receive blessings from Him as well. He also decides not to be prideful and ask for help from neighboring nations. People nowadays can be very prideful, and not ask for help when they are trying to reach a goal. Where does this fear come from? We should be a community, and aim to improve each other just as Hiram and Solomon did.

God teaches us to be generous in our gifts to Him. The tribes offered luxurious materials for twelve whole days, but they all gave the same things. This is to show that we don't need to give something that stands out, but something that matters deeply to us. Whatever we give, as long as it's made with the right intentions, God notices what we present to Him, and I think that's great.

Without God, there are no rules dictating us, and without rules there is bloodshed. The chapter mentioned how priests were being ineffective representatives of God because of their corruption, priests that were doing their jobs were being ignored by the people they want to help. It's a cycle of selfishness commonly seen today. How do we know when to draw the line between the following of God's commands and fake commands that are supposed to be from God? It gets harder and harder these days to tell apart, if only both leaders and the people became more discerning to their surroundings.

This chapter showed me how priests lived in that time. They were given special perks because of the work they did such as certain foods, and private rooms. It was very important for them to not mix holy areas with common ones and that the area the temple covered was large with thick walls. I would have thought the temple would be smaller and more humble, I don't understand why whoever designed the temple would want something against what God usually prefers - simplicity.

Thank God for His Word, Promises, and Divine Protection He offers to us! Dear Lord, help us to continue to hold on to your unchanging hand as we draw closer to Your return and experience the prophecies of the End Times. Please help us to draw nearer to thee.

God always gives us something, and sometimes we don't understand how much His gifts are truly worth. Take the Levites for example. Every other tribe got rich lands from the Lord while their inheritance was "God Himself". When we are given gifts, we don't ask the person giving the gift, "Why couldn't you have given me something else?". Instead, we say thank you and treasure the thought that came with giving the gift.

This chapter is something everyone can relate to. It's hard to keep the faith going throughout our struggles and all we can do is pray that God will help us. The person speaking in this chapter seems to be aware of how sinful he is, but the fact he still tries to keep his faith is something we should emulate. Most times, we pray "just because" instead of with mindfulness. Memorized prayers become a chore, and this is why personal prayers are most important to me. When was the last time we really prayed with mindfulness, when we really spoke to God?

This chapter shows what happens when people forget God and what He has done for our lives to flourish. Here we are taught to treasure what is given to us and remember God is behind every blessing we are given and to not take it for granted. Israel forgot and began to worship idols, chose leaders without a thought of God, etc. Thus, they were driven out of their home.

In the construction of the tabernacle, many layers are involved. It's built from the inside-out with the inside being the most beautiful, being depicted with cherubim to imply they're looking at heaven. Very few people were able to enter the innermost part, and this seems odd to me. Shouldn't the goal of the Church be to try and get everyone to feel God's presence, why the inclusivity? I understand the importance of religion being sacred, but not allowing more people makes "heaven" seem like an unattainable goal to the common people.

I just hope that the people who have read not only this chapter, but also the whole word of God. That in order

Acts 2:38. This is the new birth in order to be a true child of God. Romans 8:9 he that have not the spirit of Christ is none of his. He's talking about the Holy Ghost folks, the same Spirit that came down on the day of Pentecost. Acts 2:1-4. Then we'll be one in Christ, joint heirs with him. Then his Spirit will give us the power to walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit. To God be the Glory, Praise the Lord.

When I imagine Ezekiel crossing the river, I see it as a description of how we start our religious life. First shallowly, by the ankles, then we progress deeper and deeper. After crossing the river we reach a sea of life. Everyone's end goal essentially (heaven). People who don't cross the river completely will never reach the sea full of life but instead be stuck with a "Dead Sea".

This chapter accurately represents the relationship many have with God. He calls for us to open the door, but we do not answer. It might be due to laziness or spite, but we leave the door closed. But when He leaves, we seek him out and He may or may not come back. Have we ever closed the door on Him? And how willing are we to seek Him back?

This chapter really showed me that we all have our roles to play in society. In this chapter they mentioned officers and judges, gatekeepers, and others.
All these roles have something to do with the improvement of society and their relationship with God.
Our roles today don't seem to be as clear cut as that, but do people still use their roles to improve their religious/spiritual lives? And how? It seems to only be a case of getting as much material possessions as possible these days.

All newborn babies have their fathers blood type. Jesus DID NOT have Joseph's blood type. Mary conceived by the overshadowing of the Holy Spirit. An angel told Joseph not to be afraid to marry her; that she had conceived by the Holy Spirit. Joseph and Mary did not have relations till after Jesus was born.
If his blood type was from God, that would make his blood very special.

The Bible says blasphemy against the holy ghost is unforgivable. Matthew 12:31-32 and Luke 12:10. Presumably everything else can be forgivable, even killing, as that's that Paul did, for example.

Think for a second! Christ could only be made a curse for the people whobwere UNDER the curse. Those are the Israelites only. Because the laws was given only to them..so the curse of the law, by their disobedience, could only come upon them!!rnThis is WHY when it says Christ was made a curse for "US"..that US is Israel...and that the blessings of Abraham may come upon the "Gentiles"..these "gentiles" were the northern Kingdom of Israel, they were "called " gentiles because they were living "LIKE" the Gentiles around them. Yes, the seed of abraham is the seed of abraham. abraham begat isaac(didnt even mention ishmael, his firstborn, because he was not the chosen seed.), isaac begat jacob,(it didnt mention esau, even tho esau was jacob's twin brother, which proves again, the there is a chosen seed.)rnso the seed of abraham is the chosen line of people, not everyone in the world!! yes, other nations will be in the kingdom, but for a specific purpose..for "servants and handmaids" and that is what justice indeed is!! every nation has had the real israelites as slaves, therefore, it is only fair that every nation become slaves to the real israelites. thats justice. you reap what you sow!!

Concerning the "divorced Israelites"..remember what they were BEFORE they were divorced. However, the covenants, OLD AND NEW is STILL with the Israelites, not with EVERYONE IN THE WORLD. Romans 9:3 "3 For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my BRETHREN, my KINSMEN according to the FLESH:rnrn4 Who are ISRAELITES; TO WHOM PERTAINETH the ADOPTION, and the GLORY, and the COVENANTS, and the giving of the LAW, and the SERVICE of God, and the PROMISES;rnrn5 Whose are the fathers, and OF WHOM as concerning the flesh CHRIST CAME, who is over all, God blessed for ever.
