    In this verse, I see that Solomon sends the men to get materials and chop with tools for the royal palace of the Lord while being overseen by other men or workers. This is a beautiful passage in all.

    God lives outside of time. Flip over a bowl on a flat surface and you will see it. Genesis 1:1 the first thing the triune Godhead (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) did was to CREATE time. "In Beginning" God sees everything. He gives us free will. Were not robots. Bad things happen to us. He's not going to subvert choices, we or others make concerning us. He's given us his living Word to guide us. Adam & Eve chose to eat that fruit fully knowing they were not to. We are all vulnerable to bad choices unless we decide to live the known will of God toward us. "To give us an expected end". God is a loving Father. Earth is not our forever home. Follow Jesus. Ask anyone who has trusted Him.
  • Matty on 2 Chronicles 2:1 - 6 years ago
    I love this passage. It's interesting that David was only allowed to plan, prepare and purchase the land and the work and completion of building had to be done by Solomon. Solomon was determined and would not be discouraged in his work. I always wonder though, was the duty of building the temple reserved for Solomon before his birth?

    In AOL days, there used to be free fo all's in the Christian chat rooms; drunk people in there trying to start controversies. Don't be tempted. Here's why: 1 Cor. 11:19, Gal. 5-20, II Peter 2:1, Titus 2, 1 Tim 4:2, 2 Tim. 2:20-23, 3:19
    Clearly Paul the Apostle was NOT a liar. No man can call God a liar. Be at peace. Bring peace back to this discussion.

    On this day March 19,2020. We see the whole world panicing over an unseen virus. We can't ev?n touch it. But, the media puts it right in our faces on the TV and internet. The key thing they want to do is, to put fear and panic into the hearts of everyone.
    Jesus tells us all to fear not! For he is with us always. He will lead the way thru the strom.
    Doing the right things, but washing hands, keep our distants, etc. But, most of all is to pray alway.

    The Bible says not to forsake gathering together. Our testimonies help others who are going through trials. Although it's not good for us to hole up in the house 24/7.
    I think we are all gathering together on here, don't you? It helps me see what everyone else is writing. :)

    Jesus is God who came to earth and died for you to forgive your sin. Read the book of John to learn more.

    Assembling and fellowship is recommended to keep strong in faith and keep accountability. I think God is a fair judge. I think there are situations where getting together with other believers is a challenge. Some missionaries are alone. Some have high responsibility at work that limits other interactions. What does your heart say? Do you have the holy spirit inside you convicting you one way or the other? These are important considerations. Christians are intended to be part of the Christian church community. During times of a corona virus I think online allows us to still have a valid connection with other believers.
  • Adam - In Reply on Genesis 4 - 6 years ago
    God allows things to happen that we consider 'bad'. Life is a test and we're all going to die. The only thing undetermined is when. Have we considered the consequences of our actions? Have we loved others and chosen to follow Jesus?
  • Bob Hilt on Revelation 14 - 6 years ago
    Believers know this: 1 Peter 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
    2 Timothy 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
    Acts 14:22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation (TROUBLE) enter into the kingdom of God.
    People we are promised persecution and trouble in this world. Jesus warned us and it is coming as a storm. Now is the calm before the storm. Stay close to Jesus as that is all we shall have in this world and what is coming

    Erica, have you ask Jesus to be in your heart? HE is the only one who can help you understand. The minute you ask Him, He will open your eyes. How? He will send the Holy Spirit to help you.
  • Adam - In Reply on Romans 3 - 6 years ago
    Dear Victor, thanks for the reply. I replied to your assuming Paul was lying and I replied with points that counter that claim. Your response here seems to be on a variety of different topics which I don't completely understand.

    >Stop praising the man

    Are you talking to me, because I'm not praising a man, are you? You make a claim that Paul was lying and refuting that doesn't mean someone is praising someone if that's what you were assuming.

    >Paul and rest of those boys Changed the truth of God into Lies.

    Now you're making other claims. What 'boys'? What 'lies'? Are you trying to discredit the Bible? If so, how do we know that what you're saying is true and not a lie?

    Shalom 2U & Yours! PSALMS 100

    1 (A Psalm of praise.) Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.

    2 Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.

    3 Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

    4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

    5 For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

    GOD'S SON PROPHESIED NAME Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. & Matthew 1:22-23
    1 Esdras 5:5 The priests, the sons of Phinees the son of Aaron: Jesus the son of Josedec, the son of Saraias, and Joacim the son of Zorobabel, the son of Salathiel, of the house of David, out of the kindred of Phares, of the tribe of Judah; 1 Esdras 5:8 And they returned unto Jerusalem, and to the other parts of Jewry, every man to his own city, who came with Zorobabel, with Jesus, Nehemias, and Zacharias, and Reesaias, Enenius, Mardocheus. Romans 3:4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.
    2 Peter 3:15 - And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul (BELOVED BROTHER PAUL) also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;

    2 Peter 3:16 - As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things;
    in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest,
    as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
