Of course pets receive salvation. They didn't sin. Have you not read in revelations where the wolf lay down with the lamb in heaven. And other animals also as the lion and even the viper.

That's a good question and the Bible doesn't seem to offer a clear explanation of that. It says Satan will be destroyed in the end. In the meantime Satan shows evil in the world, a clear contrast from good. Makes good and evil easy to distinguish. So perhaps that is utilized in a sense for people to choose who they want to follow. Why do you think he exists?

No where does it say Joseph, the husband of Mary died. And if he did, No where does it say that Mary the mother of Jesus remarried. I think you all are getting your Mary's mixed up. The wedding? It does not say who is getting married. You people are changing the words of God. I'll pray for you.

  • Adam - In Reply on Matthew 17 - 6 years ago
The words of Jesus, not God the father, are presented in red. This is a common to help readers know more easily which quotes are Jesus speaking. You can also read the KJV without it if you don't prefer red, or it will appear different shades depending on your device or monitor settings.

I'm not sure if that is your belief or just echoing the previous commenter, but we're not robots. We absolutely have freewill to choose to follow Jesus or not and our actions determine where we go after this life. So, if someone is looking for an excuse to party and run with the world and uses this verse as support that sounds like an example of a falsehood the devil wants people to believe. JOHN 14:15.

According to Matthew 12:31-32 if a Christian chooses to blaspheme the holy spirit they absolutely will not be forgiven. Even angels already in heaven still had the freewill to rebel against God. Humans on Earth including Christians absolutely still have freewill and sadly do turn and denounce Jesus and commit blasphemy. The Bible is crystal clear those Christians will not be saved. Matthew 7:21.

Fred scanlan I believe that every thing that occurs in the bible has been predestined before the foundation of the world. If this is true, then let us eat, drink and be merry, for tomorrow we die.

The good seed is Christians. The tares are the unsaved. God said let them grow together until the harvest. which is the end of the world. Then He will divide the good from the bad. The good He will bring into His barn . But the bad he will burn.

As Confirmed Salvation is a Free Gift that we can't Earn or Loose if we do have it and we will show if we do or if we don't. The Holy Spirit will Empower us to be able to Work out our Salvation Romans8 but this does not mean we Work for it. What will Jesus say when He returns to those who chose to walk in the Spirit and to those who chose to walk in the flesh? Matt25:31-40. Christ-mas Blessings.

36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. 37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. May I add that every word typed or wrote also shall we give account of when judged.

This shows how quickly the enemy came in with the attempt to build the tower of Babel . He wasted no time. Satan was is ready to bring in rebellion and corrupt humanity instantly. The enemy is truly evil. Yes, we must stay sober and vigilant and never cease in praying. The enemy walks about to and from seeking whomever he can steal, kill and destroy. He never waits! Yet always fails!!

Not recognizing Jesus was due to Jesus himself not wanting them to until he was ready. Teaching them from the scriptures was his plan, finally revealing himself at the chosen time.

Ok. To each their own I guess, but in this economy few can survive on one salary. I'll be sure and tell all the female nurses and teachers that they need to pack up and go home. How will your sick be cared for? How will your children be educated? Let me guess? Home school? Do not disrespect the education and career that I have. You haven't had the experiences I have had.
