I read your comment with interest. Many fail to understand that tithing is not a part of the New Testament church. No where in the New testament did Paul state "tithes." That was in the OT as it involved more than monetary giving. In the NT it is "only" offering" as one profited.

Yes there are people that despise all manner of authority. From the president, government, law enforcement, employers, etc... 1 timothy 2:1 tells us to pray for ALL MEN especially those in authority. God calls for us to intercede for them. And while we are at it pray forgiveness for our own sin. Kirk we are never to Worship a Day or an Event, Christmas is a Rememberance of God's Awesome Gift of Love to us in Jesus'Birth and death. We Worship them only. Read the Gosples recording of Jesus Birth and listen to the Words in Carols after asking God for His Wisdom and you will have no doubts about the Reality of our Christmas being a time of Remberance and Thankfulness.

This is likely the wrong place to ask, but I heard from a Jewish man that they do not believe either, 1-in Jesus,or 2-that he was not resurrected, I can't remember now which, but I have read that the Jewish people ARE God's chosen children, yet how can this be if either 1 or 2 from above is correct? KJV says to be saved we MUST believe in Jesus, which I do, but Jewish doctrine is confusing me.

Shane I agree both Christmas and Easter are all about God's Love and were both needed but how much Study have you done on the time of Jesus' Birth I have Confirmed with Scripture the Reality that He was Born when we give Thanks to our Abba Father for His Sacrifical Love Gift to us. Why is it important to know when He was Born is there a Record of when we were?Jesus' Birth is Recorded by God too.

True I am, wordly pride or fleshy glory in how great we think we are is very much Satan's focus but the Scriptures confirm we are to have Godly Pride or Glory in who we are in Christ Jesus and others too because without Him we are all nothing But it seems some don't know the difference between what is Earthly or Spirital like with God's Love Joy Peace Wisdom and Pride and so there reject His too.

I don't believe God created anyone to sin, but he gave everyone freewill. I think people can get hung up on the all-knowing aspect of God to the point where they think he creates evil and I do not believe that. There are even instances in the Bible of God changing his mind, so I think God allows himself to see things unfold on our timeline. I don't believe our actions are predestined.

Do think it's more Biblical to hoard money instead of helping someone with it when possible? This isn't instead of helping people other ways too, but in addition. I agree with Eric's comment.

In verse 8, it states that The devil sinned from the beginning. So does that mean God created the devil to sin?

Remember this Holiday- Emotions are infectious. If you are blue, you will make those around you feel the same way. If you are stressed, your tension will spread like the tide. Ultimate of surprise is doing the unexpected. That can only come from our Holy Father. Being helpful to others in need or sickly giving your finances- when God gave you a chance to follow a long lost dream you always wanted. Giving up your way of living- to help someone see how precious they truly are after others misused them. For God wants us to show His Love through us to others. What a joy!!!
