There is power in the Name of Jesus,The holy Spirit is the Promise of conforter from a caring God ,Once we accept Christ his spirit is poured in us and his power is made evidence for all to see.The church today still has the same Power and the power of the Holy Spirit is still very much real and alive.I pray it sparks a revival in our time once again.

Iam, To know God's Good Will for us and His Truth we Trust Him and do what He tells us in Scripture. We need His Wisdom Prov4:7 we weren't Born with it we all lack it James1:5-8 We are told to Ask, Seek and Knock in Lk10:11-13 and when we ask in agreement with God's Good Will for us including for The Holy Spirit we will Receive them and we will know God's Truth and His Heart of Love for us 1Cor2.

I honestly used to struggle with moving ahead bcuz i was used to the former things which in my opinion were much more of what i can relate to as of now. Only what we've done for Christ will matter in the end anyway so don't get caught up in what this world has to offer. Store up all of your treasures in heaven not on earth where they can rot and decay and where thieves can break in and steal. Why are you adding your own words to God's Truth? if what you said was True it would contredict other Scriptures such as 1Thessalonians4:17 Jesus won't be taking Antichrists to Heaven with Him and many are going to be Martyred before Jesus returns Rev7:9-17 and 20.

Deborah was a judge in the bible and Esther was a queen in the bible....so should work for women only be for those with a big assignment? A virtuous woman is not just found in housewives...it's a woman who is obedient to the voice of the Lord and staying true to who she is in the Lord. Dear Nancy, it's my opinion that this is simply the writer saying generally at the beginning an overview of what happened, then secondly it states the detail of how it happened. This is common in how people talk or deliver information. Also, Gen 1:1 said the heaven and earth were created and done, so one could likewise assume 1:2 and beyond is all somehow a second earth? No, we all know its an overview or thesis.

I understand the meaning to be 'the power of Jesus' so whether the word 'through' or 'by' is used does not change the meaning to me.
