If I ran up and said, "Carol, I just got into a car wreck and totaled my car. I was driving and then a car crashed into me, please call 911." Would you then say, "Why do you lie to me, you already said you were in a car wreck and now you're telling me you got into a 2nd car wreck? If you already totaled your car so how is it possible you could then drive and have a 2nd wreck?" Same logic.

Not the way the churches are putting it read and let TMHIGHNY bring understanding to you We must have faith and we must have works the two go together we must know why are we having grace for grace isn t a license to sin grace is a period to get ourselves right and follow the law in doing the fruits of the spirit Galatians

Life is so Short. Do others see how Special Life is. That you are here right now- but in a twinkle of an eye could be taken away. Everyday is Precious that you can go to and fro doing your daily chores. Do you ever just stop and look around? Just watch others that God created as you. I do! I get lost in time just watching how others live- as l do. Than l Thank my Heavenly Father for that moment!!

In Genesis 1:1 it says God created the heaven and the earth. And in Isaiah 45:18 - it says he formed it to be inhabited, not in vain. Genesis 1:2 it says - And the earth was without form, and void and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. That verse shows it was not habitable. Why say G 1:2 goes along with G 1:1? In my mind it can't.

No, I don't believe there's a gap. Any difficulty people have with it is easily explained as most other books do or even the way people share things. I believe 1:1 is a general overall statement like a thesis of what happened. Then 1:2 onward it goes into detail of how it happened.

where in those scriptures does it say it was Jesus? it doesn't at all. so why are you claiming such thing with no evidence?
  • Sally on Genesis 4 - 6 years ago
There were other people and Adam and Eve were their parents. Adam was the first man and Eve Was the mother of all living. . Faith comes from Gods word. Adam and Eve knew God spiritually.God s word is spirit and life. Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

I think that some people came up with the gap theory to make the bible fit in with science. From what I read in the bible, God does not make his miracles fit in with science. Gap theory lessens the power of God just to appease those who believe in science.

There is a lot of falsehoods in the media today. There are some accounts that Christians designated December 25 first as their holiday, then later pagans tried to take it over and corrupt it. If this is true, then should Christians give up and give it over to the pagans? The Christians's 1 holiday which gets worldwide attention toward Jesus every year we should throw away?

Christ Jesus is the merchant. He purchased the pearl of great price lost sinners . Rev. 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment

It is already established in God's Word! Gospel of Matthew Chapter 13:55 Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas? The Word of God mentions the brethren of Jesus Christ by name! half-brethren by virtue of Our Lord Jesus Christ being born of the Holy Ghost! Isaiah 28:13
  • Robby on Matthew 13 - 6 years ago
What about the merchant of verses 45 and 46? Was Jesus referring to the rich young ruler, who walked away rather than giving everything he had to obtain his redemption?

The Bible was in existence. Maybe you are thinking it just wasn't printed on a printing press yet until Latin Vulgate in 1450s, although many thousands of copies existed by copying from hand that were meticulously compared. Jesus also quoted the Old Testament part of the Bible.

Lori, sadly so, Christmas , Easter Sunday observances are not biblical. Also there was no bible in existence until the year 1609. Believers in Christ were tortured murder by the Babylonian sect known today as the Catholic Universal Church for not observing the dictates of the pope ,such as christmas. It was the Saturnalia the new born Sun of the 21 of December the Solstice celebration .

  • Patty Tozi on 1 Timothy 3 - 6 years ago
This World belongs to our Father in Heaven. He created it from the start-- Satan took it away from What He wanted it to be. Oh, why can't others see. Some do- but do not know they can fight in God's Light and turn it the opposite of the World's way of thinking.God is our Rock! He Loves us enough that His Only Begotten Son suffered so we could come to His Father in the ending of our Life. SO FIGHT!
