Adam sinned now when there is trouble i hear people blaming it on God! Why has GOD allowed it etc. Well it is not that GOD allowed it but i think it is because Adam sinned and we now have free choice and so we accept Christ as our saviour and thru him, God. So as Christians our choice is made and now we have to have faith until the Judgement day. There will still be disasters etc. until then

Joe--check Hos 14:8--"I am like a green fir tree---Meaning everlasting life. The fir doesn't shed its leaves -it's always there. Christmas is mans idea of Christ's birthday, God with us-- was, is, and will always be. Christ's birth onto Earth is Sept. 29th, Mary conceived on Dec. 25th. Christmas means Christ Man. He is there for us now and forever. A celebration for Jesus is suitable.

Andrew, if God says in Matthew chapter 2, that the wise men were guided by the star, I believe God's word. I would be very careful in how you don't believe God's word. Very dangerous.

Tom, the Lamb in Revelation chapter 5, is our Lord Jesus Christ who was crucified,he died, was buried, and rose on the third day, and now sits in heaven on the right hand of God. He died on the cross for our sins. Please read 1 Corinthians chapter 15.

Albert, I'm not sure of what you are asking. Read my comment again "the Godhead is one and the same in different offices. God is the Spiritual figurehead, Jesus is God in the flesh, and The Holy Spirit is Gods Spirit He gave to all so He could always be with us. Check Jhn 14:9--"if you've seen me you've seen the Father." Sorry if I confused you, but NO I will never call God a liar.

I looked in the Smith's Bible Dictionary and it read if you be far from a body of water you can have water dribbled over your head. Baptism is between you and God and not you and some earth person, so if the dictionary says a sprinkle is ok I am to assume this is right with God.

Dear Christian Brothers and Sisters, I need to apoligise for the wrong Spelling in some of my Comments. I'm Dyslexic it does have positives but negitives too. I will share more about how it has impacted me for good and bad when I share with you parts of my Testimony in the future. But I'm also an Aussie and our Spelling can differ too. Thank you for your understanding. Christian Love Always - Anne

Seriously people this has nothing to do with a Christmas Tree. Do you research and please inform me where they are talking about a Christmas tree. Stop running with the ideas of man.

Christ's death freed us from the bondage of sin and death, from spending an eternity in hell, for he gave himself to be an advocate to the father which is in heaven. Be careful and read the Bible from one end to the other, so you don't mistake what bondage really is, the the truth shall make you free. If bondage is what you wear or what you chose, then you're thinking of this world
  • Freedomborn* - 6 years ago
True JR Salvation is not determined by what we wear but God's Guidlines are for our good and He tells us Woman to dress Modestly 1Tim 2:9 I use to wonder why Men were often making passes some even offered me money. I realised why after I started my walk with Jesus, my clothes had been very revealing showing too much personal detail and Men are Visual. I now dress for The King. Blessings - Anne.

Many times when Christ is mentioned by anything other than His name, it is listed as a capitol letter... KJV bibles show this even in the beginning, John 1:1- In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

I truly believe this is a very powerful scripture, when I sight the 23rd Psalms so many doors open. God is a good God

He will always forgive so never ever feel that you have to lie or hide any sins. You must be one with him and open your heart and let him in. Amen

Thank you. Also, do you believe it matters what body of water your baptized in?

You can call and ask your local churches. They will likely encourage you to attend their church or somewhere to be part of the Christian community. Each church treats membership differently, some you never need to 'join' but just show up and you're a member. Others may have a short process to join. Hebrews 10:25

Kristin--Biblically I can't find an answer. Teaching of Gods word says Jesus was baptized by John so to follow that example can't be wrong. Baptism is a repentance of sin shown to God. It represents the crucifixion and resurrection in the tomb then arise . Any believer can baptize "in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit". No church is required. This I have been taught.

Dorothy--v3 reads as - pray earnestly for knowledge and understanding- v4 as hard as you would search for silver or treasures and you will receive Wisdom her . v5 you will receive understanding of the reverence of God. v6 God will give wisdom always read as her and from His word comes knowledge and understanding. Follow on down to verse 10. God bless you--Pray to Him for all needs.

Who is the Lamb in Revelations 5?
  • Freedomborn... - 6 years ago
True Ruben, at the time only the Father knew the Day and the Hour that Jesus would return but. If we didn't know the Day and Hour of Jesus' return when the time comes, we would be the same as those who are in darkness, He would come as a Thief in the Night to us too but that is not what is confirmed in 1Thessalonians5:4-6 we will know as we watch for the signs. Blessings - Anne.

Psalms 119:105 NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. Genesis 1:15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so God doesn t want us in the dark, spiritually physically, or mentally. King James 2000 Bible Be you not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: God wants light and darkness separated

The difference was repentance. God saved the people of Nineveh from the consequences of their own choices because they heard His word through the prophet and believed. They and their leader desired the mercy and grace of God more than they desired to continue in their carnal ways. They allowed the word and will of God to refine them, instead of rebelling against it.

Do you ever ask what today will bring? You get up and know your Heavenly Father will ask you to do something to help some one. Will you be too busy in your own thoughts to see what is so plain? What is there for you to do for Him? STOP AND WATCH FOR A SIGN!!! Then give it your all. Thank Him for giving you HIS TIME TO LET YOU BE PART OF HIS SON JESUS!!! And DO UPON OTHERS- AS HE WOULD DO FOR YOU!

You asked about a pice from the Revelation. I found it at 19:11. In the King James Bible it is: And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. Revelation 19:11
