Thanks, Paul. for your comment. However, maybe I did not describe my situation accurately. We have been a member of a particular church for around five years and then bam! something happened that discouraged us and we are not feeling welcome like we used to feel. It was a big issue, in my opinion, and I know I have to forgive. It is difficult and I have had this happen over and over.

Thank you for that beautiful writing about what l know to be true. I have been through many hard knocks to reach out like l do--with the light of the truth of who our God really is. I have learned it all by staying quiet and alone. God talks to you thru silence and listening from the heart of His Love. God is all Love and Compassion. Remember that. All you have to do is read Psalm 23 John 3:16:

I know the situation you are currently in is difficult, however, continue to look for a church to attend. At this time I too am looking for a new church to attend and I've attended several, yet have not made a commitment to stay at one particular location. I always make an effort to visit a church at least 3 or 4 times before making a decision. Keep trying, God will provide.

Along the traditional reading preparation for sabbath happens on friday. Bible mentions that on friday Jesus died. See: John 19:31. It was a normal weekly preparation day for sabbath but also a yearly festival took place. By the evening soldiers made sure every one was dead at Golgata. Joseph of Arimathaea accompadied by Nicodemus took the body to the crave. On sunday morning the grave was empty.

Freedomborn, like you I grew up celebrating them as well. At age 40 God put it on my heart to seek out the TRUTH in His Word. Once He showed it to me I had to decide between following Jesus Christ or my religion. I chose Jesus Christ. It is indisputable those holidays were Pagan and have zero to do with when Christ was born or when He died and rose again. Compare your religion with God's Word...

How could Cain be afraid he would be killed since he was the first son and no other people are mentioned? Is this just Gods choice among all flesh in all continents that failed to be Gods choice to reveal his word? Since Neanderthal DNA is not found in Africa is every Island a different race?

Okay, I am confused. Does this all mean that you MUST attend or belong to a church? What if you have tried seven different churches over time and have found that you don't fit in any of them?

21, 22 Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do? Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me.

29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed, BLESSED are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. 2019, we give thank to Jehovah GOD for this BLESSING.

Mark 15:42 suggests that Friday is that Jesus was crucified, hence the term 'good Friday'. If Friday is counted as day 1, Saturday day 2, and Sunday day 3 then it's on the 3rd day, rather than 'after' 3 days. There's an argument for Wednesday too as the day of crucifixion.

Brian I would appreciate knowing why you think God was calling evil what the Angles, Sheperds and The Wise Men did at Christmas, they were Praising and Thanking Him for Jesus' Birth. I'm a Christian and like many others I remember and give Thanks for Jesus Birth at Christ-mas so are you calling me and them fools only God knows our Hearts Matt5:22 but in Christ Jesus we show our Love -Anne

1-26 disregarding the moment or hour quickly approaching Jesus notice how Jesus is very focused on eternity with the FATHER for those of us who will enter in the Kingdom of GOD, thereby we shall be at the The Marriage Supper Of the LAMB , Rev 19:7,8,9.

Albert please share why you believe with the Confirmation of Scripture that the Angles, Sheperds and The Wise Men were commiting evil by Praising and Thanking God for Jesus' Birth at Christmas. Without Christmas there would have been No Easter and without Easter there would have been No need for Christmas We can know that Jesus was Born in December by the Conception and Birth of John The Baptist

that's how he created us to be. We are born with in His image both male and female but ever to say God made you to live any other way that goes against His creation is to err
  • Vanessa on 1 Corinthians 6 - 6 years ago
When we except Christ, we become a new creation through Him, our body is His temple, since He had no sin, and He washed us clean took our sins nailed them to the cross, there are things that are forbidden, and the Holy spirit does convict us all, though some would rather stay in the lust of the flesh and change the word of God to justify their ways. Remember Gen 1:27 that's is God's plan

Yes so True Favour umeh Wordly pride is very bad but not Godly Pride as confirmed in these Scriptures below 2Cor5:12 -7:4 -8:24 -Gal6:4-James1:9 we are to take Pride in or Glory in those who show Faithfullness in Christ Jesus because it is Him we are Glorifying. But we don't Judge others without Godly Love, Mercy, Compassion, and Understanding or we are seeing our own reflection. Blessings -Anne.
