Correction hides pride, giving place to the fear of the LORD. The fear of the LORD, and not men, brings repentance. Repentance is true confession of thine own sins with the good conscience of a humbled heart and mind. GOD forgives, forgetting that man's sins, giving him faith in Christ. Faith in Christ is righteousness, opening his eyes to eternal life. Now fruitful, that man enters GOD'S Kingdom.

I'm thankful that inspite of my shortcomings, God, still loves me. Because of His love, I know, that there is a brighter day. I will always trust Him, to lead me and to guide me. No weapon formed against me shall prosper, as long as I keep looking up. This too shall pass! Be encouraged no matter what is going on.

GOD corrects man, hiding pride from his heart. Man, fearing GOD, repents by confessing his own sins with a pure heart and in good conscience. GOD remembers his sins no more and gives him the gift of faith through Jesus Christ the righteous. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that comes to GOD must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

ACTS 2:15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day. 16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel 1 Corithians 14:39 Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues. 40 Let all things be done decently and in order.

ACTS 2:14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:

It is very long and our Bible Study may a take 2 weeks on it. It talks all about the Holy Ghost coming upon them and on blessed they were. It is very good and enlightens to study such a good book that God left for us and even now we can get a lot of good out of it. A very good book and a lightening study. Becky

Let us study and not use "probable, probably, maybe, etc." Anything pertaining to GOD has an answer, we must study The Word in order to give answers to people when it comes to GOD. GOD deals in truth and not probables, these are souls we are working to lead to Salvation. Our mission is to draw all men unto thee through The Gospels of Jesus Christ.
  • Edifyoneanother - In Reply on Genesis 37 - 6 years ago
Probable is not the answer. GOD deals in definite. Where does it say Rachel, is dead in Genesis 37? Rachel is alive according to Genesis 37:10. "...shall I and thy mother and thy brethren indeed come to bow down ourselves to thee to the earth?"

I have not read Scripture that states specifically that He is eternal life however, He does state that He gives eternal life. He is eternal life because He has stated "I AM THAT I AM" and He gives eternal life to us as a gift through Salvation through The blood of Jesus Christ His life, His death, and His resurrection .

Jesus wasn't speaking to all men, but a certain rich man who asked him what he must do to have eternal life, and Jesus's response was to keep the commandments. The rich man said he kept all those things from his youth, and asked what he still lacked. Jesus said that if he would be perfect, then to sell everything, give it to the poor, and follow him. See 1 John 5:20 about Jesus being eternal life.

There are many gods however, our heavenly Fatther is GOD, our Savior Jesus, It is important to give GOD His glory by distinguishing His name with a capital "G" for He is the King of kings and Lord of lords. He has all power in His hands. Without Him nothing is made. Let's put Him in His proper place and let all men which god you serve -- The GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Repent does not mean to stop sinning. It mean to rethink. Stop having faith in idols and put it on Jesus. Stop putting your faith in the law and put it on Jesus. The catholic defenition of repentance is wrong the greek defenition is the correct one. God repented several times in the Bible. Do you think he sinned? I am not against repentance . most don't even know what it means.

As a believer, our words are to glorify The Lord and being forth edification. The word you chose to use with respect to The Word, does not line up with The Word. Just because it was changed, the meaning remains the same. Psalms 19:14 "Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer."

To be carnal minded is to be in the flesh, which is sinful. It is the disobedience that caused sin in the Garden of Eden. Because of sin, it fights with the spirit they are enemies. Flesh caused them to sin. To be spirit minded is to allow The Spirit of GOD which dwells in a believer to put the flesh in order and in obedience to GOD. In order to worship GOD it must be in spirit and in truth.

Jesus is God incarnated. He is God in the flesh that came down from HIS Glory and became flesh John 1:1-9 . Jesus came as the perfect Lamb of God to die for us and to take our sin upon himself who knew no sin and then He arose on the third day and is seated on the right hand of God interceding for His children. His children are those who accepts Him as their Saviour.
  • Lisa - In Reply - 6 years ago
To be carnally minded is to be of the world and it means caring about the things of the world. To be spiritually minded is to be about the things of God and pertaining to God. It means to seek God about all your decisions in life.

Carlos-- back up to 12:1-29 get the subject Passover then 13:1, 3, .9, 10 remember this day---Abib is as our month of March April. On the 15th day after the spring equinox is Passover, then Christ walked on earth 40 days in resurected body then transfigured and rose to Heaven said in ten days I will give you a great gift. The Holy Spirit protects us in His earthly absence. We are not alone.

SO the Babylon system, New testament is a product of Masonry. God's word and law never changes. A lot of you are deceived and worshipping a false idol without even realizing it because of your indoctrination. I recommend you take heed to the word of God, his original word that never changes and repent. Isaiah 14:12, Rev 22:16 the truth is in plain sight. But some will refute it because of pride.
