Psalms 90:10 The days of our years are threescore years and ten and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. The verse in Psalms says 70 years, 80 if you're strong, and I think that fits today. I think at that point in time, that David wrote the Psalm, man's lifespan was limited to these averages.

I think it's both, and more. Rev 3:21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. Jesus is set down with his Father in his throne, for Jesus said he and his Father are one. We are his body, therefore we are also seated with him in that throne, for we have overcome the world.

Matthew 2:2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. He was born King of the Jews. Born- again are Jews
  • Jerry on Genesis 1 - 6 years ago
I think God created all mankind on the 6th day, as in we were all created on that day. What do you think brethren?
  • Jerry on Genesis 1 - 6 years ago
Looking at Genesis 1, and the days of creation, it is interesting to note how the first day was measured. The evening and the morning were the first day. First there was darkness evening , and then God said let there be light morning . I think this gives us an understanding of certain days as they are spoken of elsewhere in the Scriptures. The day of the Lord is both dark and light...

Through my gripe no understanding much reading chapter 4 verse 9 thru 13 gave me some understanding. Verse 9 the first line, my words so the Lord for me is saying I'm here is there no God I'm here. further down he's, " mentions he'll redeem me from the hand of the enemies." I feel protected. Until something happens fast then I'll want Lord to move fast get'em Lord like now. Spoiled am I.

OK, so he had other people pour naptha on. If you read the account in 2 Maccabees, chapter 1, verses 20-23 you will find the same phenomenon described, but at least in some translations the liquid is described as naphtha, and the method was given to the priests by Neemias, an emissary from the King of Persia. Naptha and its properties were well known to the Persians, who were fire-worshippers.

While reading in spirit the Lord gave me this, "an unfaithful spirit gives nothing an unfaithful thought gave an idea of nothing.amen I know the Lord hates anything one that's not of him but if the effort is there and I'm weak or just pitiful and I try not to have the same issue thought and I get a scripture of angry mean now I'm scared. What if I die in anger jealous where's my soul after effort?

Today how Loved we are when we woke up. How close He is as you went out your door. How safe you are as you drive when your going. Now...what are you to say to your Heavenly Father? You are to praise Him. You are to Thank Him. Do You? Think moment to moment. Day to Day. That you are still on this earth to Show God how much He means to You by helping and being there for others as His Son was.

Thanks not the verse. A similar quotation was made by George Bush and later I found out it was from the Bible. The whole idea behind the verse was a crack or an opening on the wall and but that the root cause was from the foundation...I have made several efforts to locate it I couldn't. Thanks taking it up.

Olusegun Owopetu, I searched the scriptures, and I do believe as Robert that the scripture you are referring to is Isaiah 30:13.

To the first comment, why would God have them take away from his book when he clearly states that no one should not add nor take away from his word. God is not a God of confusion. Deuteronomy 4:2 King James Version KJV 2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.

Hello, God gives us free will and we should to treat our bodies as holy temples. I believe this means we should use every tool in our ability to protect our and our family's health. So, those who avoid vaccinations and proven medical treatment for illness and choose to do nothing but pray I believe is foolish- some die. Instead why not pray AND take action using our God-given free will.

Rick on Revelation 12: It is talking about Jesus being Michael, there are only 15 references of Michael in the KJV bible..They are all talking about human men except for these 4 texts: Daniel 10 21- Daniel 12:1- Jude 1:9 and Rev.12:7, these texts are referring to Michael as Jesus Christ.
