This is Christ words. Matt 5:17-18 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. james 1:22But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves

What a Wonderful God we serve. He covers us and keeps us.
  • Paul Smith - In Reply on Genesis 6 - 6 years ago
Begot- procreated generated John 1, In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Just as the Father, the Word has always been there. Eph 3:9 God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: God, by the Holy Spirit, begat the Son. John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us. Don't confuse the birth of God in flesh as just coming onto the scene.

GB, if you are led to give, it should come straight from the heart, the 10 of tithing was a law for the Jews in the Old Testament. I did a research online about the tithes, and the Law of tithes was done away with after the destruction of the Temple in 70 AD. So, I see that we you are not obligated to give 10 of tithes today in the New Testament. Generous giving to the poor and the needy.

We live in a world of Satan s distractions, as the Bible tells us he is the prince of the air. This age of digital technology, Quantum Computers, information overload from cell phones to IPads. Talk of faster speeding of that information. To what end? It distracts most of the population from reading the Word of God. We need to fix our eyes on God daily. Praise Him who created all things.
  • BILLY DIXON on John 7 - 6 years ago
Cont'd: Upon the outpouring of the Holy Ghost, Peter whom Jesus had given the keys to the kingdom stood up and did as Jesus said, he 'loosed' the new baptism in Jesus Name and thereafter throughout the remainder of the bible ALL were baptized that way and those who 'knew only John's baptism' were baptized again in Jesus name.
  • BILLY DIXON on John 7 - 6 years ago
John 7: 39 is why John the Baptist baptizer did not baptize in Jesus name. He baptized in the 'titles' because Jesus Christ had not yet been glorified. After the death and resurrection and Jesus ascending to HIS throne the told the faithful who BELIEVED to go to the upper room and await the Comforter The Holy Ghost which he would send. Cont'd in next submission......

There are no animals in Heaven. The reason there are no animals in Heaven, including dogs, is simple. If you were standing before Jesus and worshipping Him, and your dog came up and licked your hand, you would take your eyes off Jesus and look at your dog. There is nothing in Heaven that will cause you to take your eyes off Jesus Christ!

I find that the mystery is for beyond our understanding. I know we acknowledge John 3:16 to be our salvation, but Genesis 1:26 fits well with this being the holy trinity

Matthew 6:7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Chantel..the hail mary and act of contrition are "vain repetitions" after a while a person does not even think when saying them it's just by habit.. I'm not condemning but just saying..

The answer to "who are the sons of God in Genesis 6" can be found in Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

  • Brianna vs. 17,18 on Hebrews 2 - 6 years ago
I found Hebrews 1,2 to paint a clear picture of who Jesus is and his role. He is the Son of God. It speaks about how he had to come down to earth as a human so that he could become a merciful and faithful high priest over God's children. He had to suffer to know how to rescue us who suffer. So Jesus wouldn't be almighty God, but he is appointed as God to be King over his kingdom. He was trained.

All our confidence and trust should be placed in God. Do not trust in worldly things or man. Its our duty to cheerfully give up ourselves and all affairs to His will and wisdom trusting in God with a fixed heart. In preparing our souls for God we should constantly depend upon Him.Meditation and prayer are blessed means of strengthening faith and hope to the Rock of our Salvation.

In Genesis6, who are the 'sons of God'? Angels fallen or otherwise ? Or something else?

So the principle of the giving of our wealth to a church is equivalent to what was given then? and giving 10 percent would be considered generous. That's what I understand or interpret it to be. Thanks for responding.

Daniel was a vegan as well, you dont condemn anyone for eating the things God has made clean, nor should anyone else. The daily bread should be taken pure "the word" God Bless you
  • Vanessa - In Reply on 1 Timothy 4 - 6 years ago
value Godliness, the gospel is the truth and the way, man can deceive but the word of God is sound, Give thanks on to him for all things for there is nothing made without him , man can deceive his word but his word is light to a pure heart, God loves repentance and the spirit does convicted you to do so, nowhere does the word say you dont have to repent once in Christ just the opposite.

i feel the same way and ask myself the same thing lol .Every night before bed ill say my prayers ill say our father , hail mary and act of contrition and it seems by the time i get to hail mary or even our father i fall asleep and if I'm wide awake not even that tired i find myself messing up or start thinking of other things . I never thought of it that way of evil stopping me or messing me up .

I have a different interpretation of that verse. Paul says he would 'rather' be absent from body and present with the Lord. To me that does not mean in 100 percent of all cases someone dead is with the Lord. Why would they be with the Lord if they haven't been judged yet? In 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 it says people will be asleep and await the Lord's coming. If people were already in heaven it wouldnt make sense for them to go back to earth into their body only to be raised again to go to heaven.

Sorrows, conflicting passions, temptations, troubles, changes, and alarms from whatever can divide or interrupt the communion of saints will be banished from His people. The new heaven, and new earth: the new Jerusalem where God dwells will be our new home.God is the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, as a pledge for the full performance. Perfect and direct communion with Father and Son.

Praise the Lord. When we praise the Lord there is this renewed strength and power that fills the heart and blesses the soul. Bless the name of the Lord.

GB, read Proverbs 3:9-10. Also, Tithing the first and best of all our increase is a faith response that applies to all who are in Abraham's seed, through Christ Jesus our Lord. Tithing should not be out of a sense of duty, but rather out of love for the Lord and a desire to see His kingdom advanced. Also, to help with your question, please read 2 Corinthians 9:6-7.t

The dead in Christ shall rise first. They are already risen. If you are saved and die, you go straight to Heaven. At the end of days, we that are alive will be caught up together with them and Christ.
