Gale Myers, I am so happy to have helped you. You will not be lost. Yes, we are almost there, the Lord is so close. May the Lord Jesus Christ be with you always. Bless you my friend. Pride deceives he who says, You said this life is vanity and that all things are done. Nay: for your err it is written, God requires that which is past. and, God NOW commands all men every where to repent: and again, The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness: but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Again the Israelites deny their God to worship Baal and please themselves in whatever sin they choose. When along comes trouble, they all of a sudden remember where their "help comes from, it comes from the Lord". NOW they acknowledge God, repent and God forgives them AGAIN. How great is our God's mercy, grace and love for His own? But for the grace of God there go I. Thank you Jesus

I wonder why the writer of Genesis sometimes used the name Jacob and sometimes they used Israel. God changed his name from Jacob to Israel.

Romans 2 12 we will be judged accordingly. 1 without living by the law .2those living buy the law. it is interesting to note how the conscience works in all this. this is why he created us this way, Consequently how we live is how we will be judged. If however we are in Christ, we shall not see death! We will not see death, through the shed blood of Christ we will enter into eternal life immediately

Being conceived and born into sin, we are without the knowledge of God.Without the priests, or prophets their could be no way to hear! The consequences , being here lamented. America, you have the freedom to search the scriptures, you have the opportunity to be free from the slavery of sin! Jesus has freed us, no matter what color we are,we are subject only too Him! Glory to God!

How precious was the faith of the ex- malefactor who became a believer. By not fighting back when attacked we could lead someone to Christ by living a righteousness life.

Thanks and God bless you, Have you ever seen that it was also a prophetic significance of the prophesy of Jesus Resurrection, that is he will be in the grave for three days and then the Holy Spirit will come upon him and God will raise him back to live. it was also a prophetic message of the burial, dead and resurrection of Christ. have a thought about this revelation.

In a Baptist Church, Can a deacon of the church date and or marry a church member if the deacon is a widow and the church member is divorced. The divorce was due to adultery on the other half in the marriage, not the church member spoken of

Thank you Ann. I agree with you. I am getting old. I am past 80 now and sometimes I can't remember WHY I believe the things I believe. Thanks again. Hold my hand tight Jesus. We are close to home. I don't want to get lost now.

'Man became a living soul' whereas, the soul is the medium between heaven and earth for my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares Allah, as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.Eccl 3:21

I'm not understanding what you wrote. In verses 26,27 Jesus introduces his mother to John John takes her into his home. Are you saying that Jesus' mother was married? Please clarify.
  • Marken - In Reply on Genesis 4 - 6 years ago
Rexford Gen.4:7 means , here God saying, if we does wrong the sin is at door, means not far from us n it will attract toward us, and it is under our control. sin stays at door, not outside of door nor inside of door, so God left us a choice to decide whether to let sin come inside of door or outside of door, it's up to you.

Apparent seeming real or true but not so... is correct. The Bible is not indicating that we lay down all our weight and burden and wait for another to lift them up. we all take our issues tan burdens to God and we help each others to carry their load. its a team effort that is depicted here. A picture of helping each other.

It's the tribute of Solomon who was was wise, 1 Kings 4:30, but Jesus is greatet, Matthew 12:42. It's in 1 Kings 10:14. This was about the time Solomon's wisdom was running out, because he turned to other gods and did evil, 1 Kings 11, and his yoke was grievous 1 Kings 12:11, and he wasn't suppose to multiply gold to himself. Or wives for that matter etc. Deuteronomy 17:17. It's also a riddle

Sammy Chalefac Njukang, please read Jonah KJV Bible chapters 1 and 4, it should help you to understand the answer to your question. The LORD God prepared a gourd that it might be a shadow over Jonah's head. Jonah disobeyed God's command to go into Nineveh Chapter 1. But it would help you to read all four chapters to get a better understanding of the scriptures.

Gale Myers, I believe we will know everyone. The rich man in hell knew Lazarus in Abraham's bosom. Also, the rich man in hell knew Abraham even though they had never met. Family relationships are for here and now. If marriage was forever a widow or widower would not be allowed to remarry.

  • Ann - In Reply - 6 years ago
Valma Elsom, the words don't matter, it's whether or not it is real and from his heart. He needs to understand that he is condemned already to hell and trust the Lord Jesus Christ to save him. It needs to be the scriptures that convince him of sin, and the scriptures that convince him that the Lord Jesus Christ is his savior.
