On verse 16. Most people are naturally right handed, so to fight sword with sword with a left handed person would be much harder. Remember how Ehud was left handed and drew the sword against King Eglon. Towers in castles of old had spiral stair cases in the direction that a right handed man would use the the sword to defend in this case a left handed man would find it easier to attack upwards.

Of fowls after their kind, and of cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing of the earth after his kind, two of every sort shall come unto thee, to keep them alive. Noah didn't have to round them up. They came to him.
  • Gary Olsen on Revelation 11 - 6 years ago
When the "times of the Gentiles" are fulfilled, verse11, our Lord will send the Holy Spirit to gather the elect of GOD. They shall ascend up to heaven in a cloud, verse 12, while those who have rejected our Lord look on. They will be taken out of harms way when the judgment of GOD falls on those who remain. This is called the rapture by many.

What does Broken mean when used in the communion, "1 Corinthian 11:24, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me." Is it speaking to Bones or Spirit.

Keira, et al By hardening Pharoah s heart, it means that the Lord squeezed his heart, and forced him to show his true colors, i.e. his hatred of God and his unbelief. Read Ezekiel 18:23.

See here the envious devil as he blasphemes the Holy Ghost and GOD, who created all things by Jesus Christ: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, All things were created by him, and for him: Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

I will search the bible for an answer to your question. My thoughts: The holy spirit works in many ways and affects people differently. We can give God praise by singing, bowing down, praying, lifting up hands or just being still. You never know where someone is in terms of their relationship with God so the question about jumping around is an expression when the holy spirit comes upon you.

Where does it say in the Bible, in the end times, time will seem like it going by faster?
  • Stanjett on Exodus 31 - 6 years ago
The Lords day is Sunday. Most Christens worship on Sunday because that is the day Jesus rose from the dead. The Sabbath is Saturday. Most Jews worship on this day because they are still waiting on Christ which have already come but they rejected him.
  • Stanjett on Exodus 17 - 6 years ago
remember vs 6 here. Later on Moses is told to only speak to a rock to bring forth water but he smites it instead and it is why he came not into the promise land because he disobeyed the Lord.

An ass donkey is a beast of burden. More needed than a sheep, I would guess. Did you know that a horse and an ass can mate. They will produce a mule which can not reproduce.

24 And Jacob was left alone and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day. 25 And when he angel saw that he prevailed not against him Jacob , he touched the hollow of his Jacobs thigh and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him. 26 And he angel said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.

am really amazed with the confident of Esther for being foreigner in the land and ended up the prince of the kingdom, One thing have learned in the these story is that Gods grace is always with heart broken people and those who mourn. That reminds me when Jesus also said that blessed are the poor. blessed are those who mourn for they shall lough,And now we esther is loughing, we need to humble

1 And Jacob went on his way, and the angels of God met him. And, and nothing happened here. Later on he wrested with a angel of God. Some say it was Jesus and some say it was God. But I think it was a angel of God. Surely Jacob could not win against God or Jesus.
  • Patriot Mongoose on Psalms 82 - 6 years ago
I think "gods" was referring to those in positions of authority, in particular, judges. These judges were supposed to protect the poor and good via Romans 13 and punish evil but they were letting evil flourish while ignoring the poor.
  • Larry on Revelation 12 - 6 years ago
Rev. 12 speaks of the Christian Church which started by Jesus the son of GOD ALMIGHTY.as you see the child was sent to heaven because Jesus was killed. 4 the dragon are the powerful people in his time who does not want the truth to prosper. When Jesus was killed the church went into the wilderness because the truth were curtailed. The true worship was change from the FATHER AND SON TO SON THE GOD
