Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin, for His seed remaineth in Him and he cannot sin because he is born of God. In this the children of God are manifest and the children of the devil.

The word is and always with us. And through the word is our deliverance from any situation we are going through. The verse emphasises to contiously read God's word because it is the solutions to all the problems we face.

  • Renee on Genesis 15 - 10 years ago
Bro Timothy has a lot of questions. I think he needs to read more of his bible. This story of Abram is just one of GOD'S promises being fulfilled. God is an awesome God and He can not lie. He always keeps His promises. They are on His time not ours. 1 day for us can be a 1000.00 yrs for him. Just keep the faith and know It's Jesus Christ that's coming back for us and only God knows when.
  • MockingBird on Psalms 107 - 10 years ago
God , sent His word , Jesus , Jesus and the word are one : Cannot have one without the other ! To what I understand from the word is that sin is the root cause of any sickness : Also to my understanding : Get the sin out then you will be healed: Also allow Holy Spirit to let you know what you need to correct Do not get scared , Saying , OH !! I have sin , I wonder what it is !!! Allow Holy Spirit to teach and guide. He sent Jesus the word to heal and to deliver from destruction !!

To the question, "Who are the saints?" let me respond as follows: Saints are not some special class/group/subset of believers but are actually any who have trusted the Lord Jesus and are born again. See Philippians 1:1 for a proof text. Here you find mentioned those who makes up the church, saints, plus the two offices delineated in the New Testament for each local church; bishops and deacons.

  • Pretty on Psalms 1 - 10 years ago
Psalms 1 talks about the beauty of being righteous and how the favour of God is upon those who do good and serve Him diligently. It then explains that the ungodly will be punished because they do not follow His counsel.

  • Michael C. on Mark 14 - 10 years ago
23-25 This cup which we bless, we drink in remembrance of His blood shed for our redemption. At the same time He is vowing the vow of the Nazarite, to refrain from the fruit of the vine until He "drinks it new with us in the kingdom of God." Like when Naomi told her daughter-in-law Ruth to sit still; for Boaz would not rest until he had finished the matter that day:What Jesus began He will finish!
  • Michael C. on 1 John 3 - 10 years ago
Dear one; Looking back to long ago earlier times; I see now so many things I didn't see then; and frankly (thank the Lord!) I couldn't see. It took a hard and shameful turn for the worst at a certain point: I can never express my shame and regret sufficiently for that disaster. But the Lord did not kill me outright, instead my day came for repentance and true conversion, and now He's given me all!
  • Doreen bavo on Psalms 121 - 10 years ago
IIs a blessing to get up in the morning and read it before getting out form the house. Am single mom of two kids and both under age five, so is not easy. This is what kept me going.
  • Michael C. on 1 John 3 - 10 years ago
Written probably from Ephesus about 96 AD; John the Apostle by that time, was a very deeply taught, well refined and mature man of God; mightily filled with the Holy Spirit, and his words full of the expression of God's thoughts, and not one of them falling to the ground. We should long to know the Lord like John did, and like all our heroes in the Bible. We are, after all, who they wrote for!
  • Michael C. on Psalms 77 - 10 years ago
Dear Brother, I was not being a hypocrite or proud; you said that you let doubt into your life, and worried that you weren't even saved.Who was behind that wicked thought? Not a brother in the Lord, who is telling you in the love of the Spirit, to wise up and play the man; for your people, and for your God! Believe God,and give no place to the devil for anything, ESPECIALLY YOUR BLOOD BOUGHT SOUL!
  • Michael C. on Psalms 77 - 10 years ago
Dear Michael, Please don't be offended; its not pride; but great experience of Jesus' mercy and forgiveness, and power to save to the uttermost! If I came over too rough, forgive me; I too am still in the world, and must yet reach the goal I'm set out for, like you. There are so many portions of scripture, that if we give ourselves wholly to learn; hold for us all the power and wisdom to overcome.
  • Rita on Psalms 91 - 10 years ago
Each time l meditate on this verse l feel so encouraged. I feel so protected and safe..ooh my God.. There is none like you!!
  • Michael C. on Psalms 77 - 10 years ago
Hi Michael, No, I don't have a spirit of pride; but I do have a lot of experience of the Lord's mercy toward me. If we toy with temptation, and afterward have to repent; we must expect the Lord's chastisement as part of the healing; because you must know He hates sin; and He does not wink at it in Christians. The "judge not" from Mt 7:1, does not bar one brother from rebuking another if needed.
  • BSP on Psalms 12 - 10 years ago
We see the wicked walking about freely everywhere as verse 8 shows because moral corruptedness is promoted.

We are all hear illegally.....the life must be surrendered after the order of melchizedek...wherein the life stolen from the creator is returned and once again we shall be one......all kept lives will be lost...it must be as if you never existed..or face judgement
  • Nancy Miranti on Psalms 78 - 10 years ago
A reminder that HE backs us up when OUR backs are to the wall. All we have to do is not move away from Him, or He lets our enemies conquer us.
  • Zack on Zechariah 8 - 10 years ago
Jews come from the House of Judah (JUH-dah; JEW). The House of Judah was the tribes of Benjamin and Judah. The House of Israel was scattered amongst the nations after being taken captive in Assyria. Essentially if you believe in Christ you are thus grafted in as part of Israel. Christianity today does not preach this message, for they believe the OT is rendered obsolete, which is absolutely false.
