To love others as Christ loved me is for me to forgive anyone that has wronged me before they have done anything to me. To have a forgiving spirit at all times .Hard to do but with Holy Spirit helping , it can be done. Jesus Christ forgave me before I was even born . Now that is Awesome !!!

I think Tobit was talking to his son, before Jesus Christ was born and crucified. Now we must except Jesus Christ as our Lord and savior and be baptized to escape hell.

Love is a character of God, whoever is born of God will show their love towards others. For God's love covers multitudes of sin. For Gods' love is constant, He shows His great love both to the Spiritfilled and the unsaved people without Holy Spirit . I agree with Patricia Chance but first we need to really get into the right bible which is the KJ and study it. I thought I knew the bible because I listened to my pastor. But I did not check up on all that he said and I should have because I am recently finding through really getting into the study of the Gods word that he was wrong on so many things. So be very, very careful who you listen to.

My husband brought me to God Through Paul I grew up in church but never in love of it ,he took so much time trying to explain forgiveness and that I did not need to do the ten commandments and the guilt was gone that is when I started to love God ,see I could sin today and still be saved but why would I want to hurt my God who saved a person like me.

My take is this, we are to be diligent in learning the Word of God, which is the Lord Jesus Christ, to be discerning for that time when we will be needing Him, to be at all times prayerful, to be pure in heart, mind, body. We are being warned, that if we do not, we will be caught off guard, and easily confused, but God cares for all, and waits, but not forever, so repent, change, and Live in Him!
