  • Sims on Proverbs 28 - 10 years ago
Bill re v 13 I agree up to a point, let me explain. And let me start at the end, God deals in judgement and mercy. A persons conscience will always condem him her especially when one hardens their heart. The Holy Spirit convicts each and every one of us about our own personal predisposition. Christians need to know and remember, flesh was bad when we were non-believers, it's the same now that we're believers, in Christ. And there is now NO condemnation, we are new creatures in Christ. I'm just encouraging people to be blameless across the board in their daily life. God bless you all for we are His kin, tasked to love one another, amen.
  • Trinity adwoa kwofie on Hebrews 4:16 - 10 years ago
we should therefore call upon him in times of distress, believing our father will hear us knowing that his mercies for us are new every morning.
  • Kenielhuntley on 1 Kings 1 - 10 years ago
The Lord had long ordained Solomon to be king, over Israel and Judah. The lesson learnt is: on your journey to becoming your purpose, the devil will attempt to hinder your success, by putting his own people in your way, attempting to rob you of your right as a child of God, however, you must contact the correct authority,God, and he'll clarify the situation for you.

If we confess with our mouth and believe in our heart, that God, the Father, sent Jesus to forgive us of sin, we will be saved. Whosoever confesses that Jesus is Lord, is of God. He who is born of God enters into his Rest. It is Written: by the cross Jesus drew us near to God, and by His Blood, we are reconciled accepted by Him. We walk according to the Spirit of God. Giving no place to the lust of the mind and of the flesh. He who loves his life in this world will lose it, but he who loses his life for God, will save it. Jesus said, " No one come to me except my Father draws him, and of all that he gives me, I will not lose not one." We are sealed with God's promise in Jesus Christ our Lord. Paul teaches us to live worthy of our calling, which is set before us to the finish.

i think that it is a cool scene in the bible
  • Jason on Proverbs 25 - 10 years ago
Proverbs 29:19 seems to naturally fit with verse 13 of same chapter. A faithful messenger is refreshing to his master, whereas the master, Jesus can not put confidence in an unfaithful man. That man is like a broken tooth, serves no purpose, or a foot out of joint. Imagine us as the body of Christ here on earth, with a mission to spread a message, the gospel in fact. A faithful messenger of the gospel will refresh our Lord, but an unfaithful man, who fails to properly function as a member of the body, proves useless, and weakens the body. How far can we get with a foot out of joint? We must work together, to please the King, not the pastors or the church folk, but be a messenger that proves faithful and refreshes the Lord with our obedience to the call, to go out into all the world, preach the gospel, and make disciples of all men....

  • Norm on 2 Thessalonians 2 - 10 years ago
Tony, First, I pray the LORD moves me by Spirit to speak truth and not my own interpretation. Verse 3 is related to those saved per God's will, or the rapture. The son of perdition, destruction or antichrist has been revealed to some according to God's will. See middle eastern president who's last name in Arabic translates to The Lion, who's birthday is Sept 11 1965. The Church will be taken prior to that Wicked one being revealed to the entire world. May the LORD JESUS CHRIST save us from this evil. Bless JESUS our Saviour. Amen
  • IKEDIASHI UZOR on Job 5 - 10 years ago
I was surprised that upon all the evil that befell Job, he refused to recognize the existence of satan the devil. Devil was not mentioned by him all through the chapters of the Bible. It was God everywhere and even when his wife and friends itched to make him deviate from God, he did not agree. Job is worthy of emulation and a mentor to anyone that wants to believe in God.
  • Devary dowloo on Psalms 51 - 10 years ago
I am in repentance and know I have been forgiven of my sins but needs to believe more.
  • John Higgins on Matthew 24:24 - 10 years ago
the phrase: "if it were possible" was said be Jesus....so there is something to it, yet in His situation it was not possible. by talking about the Elect....we need to define elect: then we need to see the purpose in adding that clause "if it were possible".....it is either possible or it is not possible. one thought track leads to God will not hinder one of the elect from being tric-ked. The other thought track would be it is impossible for the elect to be tric-ked. The implications lead either to there is no safety in being an elect, that even the most devout in Christ can fall. OR, that God has put a seal on the elect that they cannot fall.... which brings us right back to once truly saved, always saved, and chosen from BEFORE the world was formed Eph 1, or our faith depends on our works.... It is God's Word that says we are his, we are in his hands and no one or nothing can separate us from the Love of Christ....
