Understanding our relationship to God seems impossible when we consider the omniscience of the almighty! With this in mind ,we hear Christ words "abide in me", this reason, for the sin that separates us, keeps us from Him! Sin is baggage , a detour before and behind us, moving us in directions that are outside His will for us! Like nature from the day we are born, we are dying all the time! "Heaven and earth shall pass away, my words shall remain forever." Seasons change, but return renewed again, only to start their work again. Christ tells us to abide in His vine, bringing forth fruit. That without Him we will be gathered as dead branches and thrown into the fire. This fruit he speaks of is His righteousness, given to us through faith found perfect in His nature! If we are to grow and enter into his kingdom, we cannot see the kingdom, or hear it without Him! When you except Him and start living in Him, you will see what he has in store for you! Eternal life! A kingdom without end! Given to us, because of His love for the world! ( John 3:16.)

We can worship anytime, any day....still doesn't excuse not keeping the Saturday sabbath as much as we can. Jesus and his apostles kept the sabbath.

    John 15:10

"If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love."

    God Bless.

What is intriguing, about mathew,Mark, andLuke, is that because they do not read exactly the same, there must be an underlying reason the holy spirit is accomplishing. Man defines as one of the three persons in the holy trinity as being the holy spirit. Even tho we do not see Him ,He is very distinct in the sanctification of the reader! This is why Peter says that (the scripture) is of no private interpretation. This process takes time and that time equates differently with each one of us! This configuration or revelation corresponds with ones oneness with the Holy Spirit. When we are confronted with trials and situations which separate us from the word , it could be considered that these spaces in our growth are not unlike the spaces we find in the synoptic gospels, Not unlike a painting that comes together. I have often wondered why my recollection , or remembrance seem complicated, only to come to knowing that the Holy Spirit is at work. The love of Christ that surpasses all understanding, keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

My words - My doctrine, my commandments.Abide in you - Not only are remembered, but are suffered to remain in you as a living principle, to regulate your affections and life.Practically and experimentally, if you adhere steadfastly to the doctrine which I have taught you, firmly believing my declarations, conscientiously obeying my precepts, and affectionately embracing and relying on my promises; ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

The Bible is clear in the fact that we can only prosper and be in good health if our ways PLEASE God and we strive continuously to be like Jesus dying daily pressing towards heaven with all our heart.

    John 15:7

If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.

King James Bible: If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

Christian Standard Bible: If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you want and it will be done for you.

SO, if your lifestyle pleases God and you live 24/7 for God and you seek first the kingdom of God ( matthew 6:33) then above ALL things you will prosper and be in good health. God cannot work with someone luke warm, he will vomit them from him ( Revelation 3:16)

    All thisand so much more.

    He alone is worthy.

After all the "discussion" over the weekend about Jesus's name ( Yeshua, Messiah, etc)

He's worth so much more than to be an object of disagreements. Am I the only one who felt like crying?

Paul is telling us to grow up. He told the Corinthians in chapter 3 that they were babes and could not handle meaningful doctrine while they were still carnally minded. Then in chapter 12 their self serving focus on the gifts was actually hindering the intended use of them which is to build up the body of Christ. He then shows them the better, mature way which is charity.

Charity is essentially what Jesus commanded in John 13:34-35, "A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another."

Also in John 15:12-13, "This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." (Which incidentally points to the Cross.)

Ephesians 4:11-16 gives a fuller development of this necessary work of edifying the body, that we henceforth be no more children...

    Truth in the Scripture

John 7:37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If ANY man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.

Revelation 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And WHOSOEVER will, let him take the water of life freely.

Matthew 10:32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.

John 15:6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

Brother please think about this. Our Lord Jesus have twelve disciples whom later known as epistles. Except one, St John all other disciples are killed by enemies of Lord. We are not above epistles. John 15:20 - Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you : if they have kept my saying they will keep yours also. Also Moses redeemed Israel through the plagues. Noah and family saved through the floods. Nowadays we believers are going through great tribulations.

Jeffrey, Thin logic? Scripture is thin logic?

The Holy Ghost is called God, Jesus is God and the Father is also.

Acts 5:3-4 But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to LIE to the HOLY GHOST, and to keep back part of the price of the land? ...thou hast not lied unto men, but unto GOD.

Each Person of the Godhead SPEAKS AUDIBLY in the Bible--

God the Father SAID of Jesus in Matthew 3:17 ..."This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."

Jesus SAID in John 10:30, " I and my Father are one."

The Holy Ghost SAID in Acts 13:2, ..."Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them."

    Genesis 1:26-27, And God said, LET US make man in OUR image, after OUR likeness...So God created man in his own image, in the image of God [not angels. the "us" can only refer to God.] created he him;

In the Old Testament, we find that God has a Son ( Proverbs 30:4, Psalm 2:7-12) and a Spirit ( Isaiah 40:13, 2 Samuel 23:2, Judges 3:10, etc.).

I Corinthians 2:11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

    The Godhead and salvation.

The Holy Ghost reproves us, teaches us, guides us and testifies of Jesus Christ.

John 14:26, But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

John 15:26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, HE shall testify of me:

Here is some scriptures to pencil in on the back page of your Bible:

    John 14:26

    John 15:26

    John 16:7

    John 14:6 Lamentations 1:16

Teacher, Advocate, Helper. Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Jesus. The Greek word is: paracletos (one who comes alongside to Help)

The thing some people miss is that the Holy Spirit is always close by. Even tho he's a Spirit with no visible body...trust me, He is beside you. Talk to Him. Study with Him. Be aware of His presence.

It's hard, but don't grieve him or quench Him. He is God, the Holy Spirit. He loves you more than anyone else you've ever known.

Sing to Him and soon you will hear His song singing in your heart. Anything that hurts in you, will be healed.

Luke 4;18-19 ( Isaiah 61:1). Jesus speaking about the Spirit of the Lord.

Gifts and ministries of the Holy Spirit, that He imparts as He wills. 1 Corinthians 12:31

One thing was hard for me to learn: walk beside the Holy Spirit, and don't run ahead of Him. :)

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord....

A LOT of wisdom is given in Proverbs. Also, David was a man after Gods own heart. It's good to study WHY.

Acts 1:25 That he may take part of this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas by transgression FELL, that he might go to his own place. (Jesus didn't fail but Judas fell)

John 15:6 If a man (abide not in me), he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. (Jesus said this John 15)

2 Peter 2:4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; (The angels were in heaven but were cast out.)

John 6:67 Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?

Regarding baptism. Matthews 28:19 & 20, Jesus said: ...teach ALL nations, baptizing them ...Also, Mark 16:15 & 16 say: preach the gospel...he that believe and is baptized shall be saved. Baptism come before you are saved. Baptism is essential to salvation. Acts 2:37 & 38. 1 Peter 3:21 ... Baptism saves us. 2 Timothy 3:16 & 17 tells us that "ALL scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness ... Be blessed!

    Willie,

Just stand on the scriptures, God will take care of the rest, He will honour Your stand on His Word.

    Acts 2:38 KJV

[38] Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Find someone who will baptise you in the name of the Jesus Christ, if you haven't already.

Then you will not be tossed about by every ones opinions.

    John 16:13 KJV

[13] Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

He will guide you into all truth.

    1 John 2:27 KJV

[27] But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

ye need not that any man teach you

There you go Willie, that's God's Word.

Stand on it, He promised it. Praise the Lord.

    Faith leads to obedience.

    John 15:7 KJV

[7] If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

You want Him to settle this doubt, ask Him and believe Him when He said - it shall be done unto you.

    Matthew 24:35 KJV

[35] Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

    God bless you

Do not tell yourself that God and you planned this togetter. God will not help anyone sin, That's murder; thou shall not kill in the ten commandments. Please do not say things like that; because that propped me to pray for you and to write this reponse. Praying that you are alright.

FOR Andrew Kingsly Raj who posted prayer request above:

2 Peter 3:17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness. 18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

    Colossians 1:9 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

John 15:4-5 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.

Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

My comment is that no-one can preach the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ unless they know Him well. It is a sad sight when someone preaches the Word, but then falls/turns away from the Lord, or puts Him on a shelf to go seek after other gods, money, fame, women, etc.

Sam you are correct the Bible does not say anything about a female ruler.

There is a heresy running around that the Holy Spirit is female called the SHEkinah or the glory of God.

The word SHEkinah is nowhere in the Bible. So they claim God the Father and the Holy Spirit had a child the Son of God.

The King James clearly calls the Holy Spirit HE

John 16:13 Howbeit when HE he, the Spirit of truth, is come, HE he will guide you into all truth: for HE he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever HE he shall hear, that shall HE he speak: and HE he will shew you things to come.

John 15:26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, HE he shall testify of me:

My research as to where this female spirit thing comes from is those involved in the so called "Hebrew roots" movement that claims the King James Bible is mistranslated by pagan Greeks and is generally anti-Semitic in nature.

They are the ones pushing the Yeshua instead of Jesus name.

The main group that I can find with this SHEkinah thing is the Chabad Lubavitch group that claim they are practicing Judaism. Their main book is the Zohar, not the scriptures. The follow what is called Kabbalah which came from Babylon.

The Hollywood celebs, like Madonna, wear red strings to ward off evil spirits are into this stuff.

Look into this everyone I am not making this up. This is who many claim to be the chosen people.

Chabad Lubavitch Kabbalah followers are the ones wearing the black clothes with the curls of hair hanging down.

    Leverda,

John 15:1 says I am the true vine, and the word true means genuine, versus symbolic. I am the genuine vine, and my Father is the husbandman, literally earth-worker, the farmer of the vineyard.

In the Old Testament, the vine was always used an example of Israel, especially Isaiah Chapter 5 Verses 1 through 7, also known as the song of the vineyard, how that God planted a vineyard and it was the nation Israel. But they grew wild grapes, and thorns grew and God allowed the vineyard to be overrun by the wild animals, and that was the symbol of His judgment against Israel.

And so when Jesus, now talking to His disciples, He says I am the genuine vine, not the symbolic one of the Old Testament. I am the genuine vine and My Father is the farmer.

The Apostles creed (I believe) is not in the Bible. The Vatican wants us to believe they were responsible for it.

The Greek churches as well as Rome hammered out the Creeds.

    Part 3 NICENE CREED:

And I believe in the Holy Ghost, the Lord and Giver of Life; who proceeds from the Father [and the Son]; who with the Father and the Son together is worshipped and glorified; who spoke by the prophets.

    [ John 15:26, John 16:13, John 14:26]

And I believe one holy catholic (catholic means universal, not Rome)

    and apostolic Church.

    [ Ephesians 4:5]

I acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins; and I look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.

    [ Acts 19:4, Acts 22:16, 1 Corinthians 12:13, Mark 1:8, John 11:25, 1 Peter 1:3, Revelation 20:6]

Please think on this. If you carry out this act you will be doing the devils will for he is a deceiver, destroyer. You feel that by doing this act it will bring about a change in your sister and niece; however, might it also bring them to a more desolate place in their lives. Will they not think that to commit suicide would be an easy way out of despair. I'm praying that you will look to Our Savior Jesus Christ and pray for your loved ones. Prayer does change and turn situations around. Pray the blood of Jesus over your loved ones and give them to Jesus to restore them and break their addictions. Jesus can and will do the impossible. Pray peace for your troubled soul as I am doing right now.
