The gospel of Jesus Christ (that everyone through time has preached to the unsaved and unlearned) is easy to remember:
The BIRTH, LIFE, DEATH and RESURRECTION of Jesus. Our Messiah.

Question: why do you christians worship jesus christ's "death" instead of his victory over death??? because jesus christ teaches you in revelation 1:18 "i am he that lives, and was dead; and, behold!!!i am alive for evermore!!! amen; and i have the keys of heall and of death!!!

can anybody answer that question??? peace.

Very Good JJ. Stay Strong. It ain't easy. And always remember ""For I the LORD thy God IN YOU will Hold thy right hand, Saying unto thee, Fear Not!!! I will help YOU." Isaiah 41:13
1 Corinthians 3:16 asks you JJ "Know YOU not that YOU are The temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells IN YOU? YES YOU NOW KNOW!!!

Continue to shock your LOVELY Sister and your LOVEABLE Niece by showing them Your Strong Spiritual Revolutionary side!!! Show them that the wages of Strong-LOVE is LIFE. Jesus Christ warns You to Beware of religion and false prophets' teachings in Matthew 24:4-5. Be a Good Shepherd to your LOVED Ones JJ. STUDY. God is LOVE ( 1 John 4:8, 16). STRONG-LOVE!!! FAITH. THINK.

I am sorry if my comment upset you. You don't have all the details and have no idea why I think it would cause people in my life to repent. My little sister followed me into the world of drugs and alcohol. She is now a practicing prostitute, as is her daughter, to be able to support their heroine habit. Because I was the older brother and an alcoholic and addict myself, I know there's no way, other than shock that will reach her at this point. I have lived a deplorable existence and an act such as that would be the most effective way to reach people. By showing them that the wages of sin is death. I was going to write a heartfelt letter and pray for the best. I changed my mind anyway. Blessu

Jesus Christ Teaches you in Revelation 3:21 "To him and her that OVERCOMES idol-worshipping religion and its cross and double-crosses will I Grant to Sit with Me in My THRONE, even as I also OVERCAME religion and its cross and double-crosses , and am set down with My Father God in His THRONE."

You Christians who believe you are Saved by Christ's death, Christ just told you that you are WRONG!!! You still Must OVERCOME idolatrous religion and it's crosses and double crosses. CHRIST IN YOU CONQUERED DEATH AND HIS REWARD IS TO SIT IN THE THRONE WITH OUR FATHER GOD. You too must OVERCOME by Faith in Our Father God's Tough-LOVE just like Jesus did!!! Ignore the cross. Focus on the THRONE.

JJ "Let the weak say I AM Strong!!!" - Joel 3:10. Be Strong. Hanging yourself may make "them" sad for awhile, but hanging yourself will NOT make anybody repent. Why should they??? JESUS CHRIST LIVES. JJ, it is you who must repent (THINK AGAIN!!!). Romans 10:13 Teaches You "For whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord shall be SAVED." Romans 10:13 does NOT teach you: For whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord shall commit suicide. In your reply you called on the Mighty Name of the Lord. Evidently you DID NOT understand what We wrote. Understand this: Revelation 1:18 "I Christ am He that was dead; and BEHOLD! I AM ALIVE FOREVERMORE, Amen; AND I HAVE THE KEYS OF HELL AND DEATH!!!"

Greater love hath no man than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. I have understanding Lord and I am fully planning on doing your will. After I hang myself it will shock them into seeing the truth and cause them to repent and open their eyes and see the truth. I love them enough to sacrifice my life in an effort to wake them up and invoke change and peace. In Jesus name amen

So did Jesus die for Esau?
Malachi 1:2-3, "I have loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not Esau Jacob's brother? saith the LORD: yet I loved Jacob, And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.." John 15:16, "Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you..."
who made the choice? the apostles or Jesus?

Luke 8:10, "And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand." ( Matthew 11:25)
Not every one was given to understanding the things of God

Carol read the Bible for its not what someone thinks but what sayeth the Lord. Luke 15:11-32
    II Peter 2:4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
John 15:4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. 5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. 6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

I find that self control and all the attributes of the Fruit of the Spirit Galatians 5:22-23 are supported by the infilling and indwelling of the Holy Spirit who is our advocate, teacher and concillor without which life gets in the way. He also, guides you in keeping everything focused on the promise of Sake ye first the Kingdom of God and all these things shall be added unto you. The gospel is pretty straightforward when we abide in Him and He in us, John 15:5-7. God, How I pray that we can get to the 1000 year reign sooner than later and truly live life.

Looks like you got it all backwards , Col 2:9. In him another person NOT IN GOD DWELLETH THE GODHEAD. Jesus told us he is the head as the Father gave all things unto the Son in John 5:19-20. Jesus said in John 15:26 Jesus will send unto man from God his Father the comforter. Three things in action that Paul picked up on. Jesus the Son of God is now the head of all things. Basic English 101.

The law is the 10 commandments and it shows what God requires of us to be obedient to Him. 1John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin also transgresseth the law for sin is the transgression of the law. John 15:12 If ye love me keep my commandments. Romans 13:10 Love is the fulfilling of the law. 1st 4 commandments are about loving God last 6 commandments are about loving one another. Read Matt.22:36-40

You are correct. In our prayers and confessions we go through Christ. John 14:13 and 14. Verse 14 says" if you shall ask any thing in my name I will do it. Christ is the one who takes our prayers to the Father. John 15:16 and John 16:23,24.I trust these few texts will help you.

Hi Danielle, it's my personal belief that most of the laws from the old testament were fulfilled when Jesus died on the cross. I believe this instruction to not drink blood is for health reasons and I personally still abide by it. Romans 14:13-23 relates to this. Is this your real question, because I wonder how John 15:13 is related to Leviticus 17:14.

I've been raised my entire life under the teachings of Jehovah's Witnesses, but cannot wrap my head around or bring myself to completely agree with the belief that my family and everyone else seem to be very strict about.....and that is what the Bible says in Leviticus 17:14....... I understand the scripture and it's context, but what about John 15:13. Can someone help me better understand these?

Kindly read John 15:1-6. Jesus says He is the true vine and we are the branches. The branches that bare fruit a retained whereas them that bare not are cut off. Baring fruit is keeping the faith of Jesus and keeping his commandments Rev 14:12. Not baring fruit is the opposite, which most of the Jews did, they believed not whom God had sent which equates to eternal life John 17:3 and hence cut off.

For this l have lived all my life with Love-- and doing for others before myself. In Corinthians 13:8- Love never Fails. In John 15:13- Greater Love has no one than this-- to lay down one's Life for one's Friends. So to anyone who reads this, Know "Love"for one another is what GOD'S Word is all about: If you have Love and Compassion for others, than you know God's Love for you! His Son showed you:

verse 4 pointed out that friendship with the world is making himself an enemy of god..why?because the whole world is under the control of satan and his allies using religions, politics and commerce to impose traditions, customs and occassions. It is now clear that the enemy of god participates or involves in traditions customs and occassions. 1john 2:15-17, john 17:14-16, john 15:19
