I love the words all, whom soever, everyone as our Savior extends His invitations for all to come unto Him and partake of His Salvation and Grace. His love is the miracle of the eternities, and His abiding love is all inclusive and for Him to be fair and a Just God, it could not be otherwise. Thanks be to God.

John 6 Shows us how Christ meets or physical (feeding the 5000) emotional (calming the sea) and spiritual (bread of life) needs. Showing us He is sufficient for us in everything. It is one of the greatest chapters of the Bible.

If we keep our eyes on Jesus Christ., read the Word, meditate on the Word, be obedient to the Word, we would be strengthen through storms. We would never hunger or thirst. For if we hunger and thirst after righteousness, the Word of God say we shall be filled. He is the Christ the Son of the living God. Hear Him. M

Jeremiah 17:14 Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise. Jeremiah 17:17 Be not a terror unto me: thou art my hope in the day of evil. Matthew 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. John 6:58 This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever. In John 6:37 Jesus says "All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out." Later in the chapter in verse 44 he also says "no man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day." However, that is not a free pass to do whatever you want, sin, and it'll all be ok. Live as Christlike as u can.

Jacob, concerning Deuteronomy 18:18-19. Please read John 6:14,7:40, Acts 3:22-23, 7:37.
Try to believe that verse tells us that the Prophet the Lord God raised up is Jesus Christ. May the Lord lead you into His Truth.
  • Fabian on John 6 - 10 years ago
The apostle John; the beloved apostle and last of the apostle to die, was a man who by his writings and inspiration of The Holy Spirit wrote the essence and true nature of Jesus as the Son of God and the only way to man's salvation. If you believe in Him, you will be saved.
  • Tracy on John 6 - 10 years ago
The people were amazed at the passover when Jesus fed thousands. But like many people today are only concern about their stomachs that was the way it was then. This is why Jesus said drink of his blood and to eat of His flesh because without His death there could be no salvation. We cannot put all our trust and dependence on the things in this world but it must be in God through Jesus Christ.

Remind us that turning over a new lease and just deciding to go to church, and start living Godly has its terrible payout. A person must be under conviction and realize and admit I am a sinner. There is enough power in the word of GOD to clean a man up but will not last. Read John 6:44 the drawing is the HOLY SPIRIT. You cannot just get saved anytime you want, the SPIRIT draws amen.

Oneness Theology teaches that God was in the mode of the Father in the O.T. God was seen in the O.T. not as a dream or a vision or an angel in the following verses Ex 6:2-3, Gen 19:24, Num 12:6-8 But Jesus said no non has seen the Father in John 6:46. If they were seeing God Almighty Ex 6:2-3 but it wasn't the Father who was it? John 8:58.

My thought on this verse went to John 6:68, where Jesus turns on to His disciples and ask them, will you also leave me, to which Peter replys, to whom shall we go? Thou hast the words of eternal life. David knew this. It was his past experiences that that formed his resolve. It is the hard times that form us, not a bumpless ride through life. Trials are in fact a blessing as they have several benefits. They draw us closer to the Lord and each other in the fellowship. They produce holy living at times and as we see here they increase our love and dependence on God's word. David finishes the verse, for with them thou hast quickened me. Perhaps this the most important part of the verse. Spiritual life comes only through God's word.

Jesus said 3 times, "I will raise him up at the last day." Some things nust be said 3 times for us to hear. But once a believer, the resurrection by way of the Holy Spirit is a continuum, a one time event at conversion, yes, but occurs with every breath. Praise Jesus for His resurrection from death to life moment by moment.

The flesh is everything that represents the Law of moses which was abolished by Christ and will take anyone to hell since no man can keep the Law - James 2:11 : but the spirit represents christ himself who said : the word I speak to you are spirit and Life - John 6:63 .

For Robert and whosoever...Beloved brother, how can we do anything that the Word of God commands? Some followers of Christ asked this question in John 6:28. What must we do to do the works of God? in the next verse, the Lord answers, 'This is the work of God, that ye believe on Him Whom He hath sent. ' It 's by faith, brother. In Acts 15:8-9, talking about the Jews ' and the Gentiles ' part in the Lord 's salvation, it says in verse 8 that God does this by His Spirit, and in verse 9, purifying their hearts by faith. It 's not by our power or might, because as you 've said, there 's no good in us, it is by His Spirit. How we must purify ourselves is by prayer, because the faith that God gives us causes us to pray. That 's our part. The work of the Cross is indeed a finished work and it 's only by His Blood, but as we believe, we pray and we read the Word, because this is faith in action. It 's constant repentance, turning to Him in faith, calling on Him to help us to pray and read His Word. We are justified by faith, but we are continuously being sanctified by abiding in His Word and prayer, because this is how we walk with Him. We see this in John 13 where Peter tells the Lord that He must not wash his feet, and the Lord says, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me. We must experience this ongoing work of sanctification every day. We do this by continuing in His Word and prayer.

some folks believe heaven or hell, nothing else follows. Jesus spoke of tear sowed among the wheat. He also spoke of Wolves in sheep clothing and it is these who have brought shame on Christians. And it is they who have turned the world against the believers of Christ. Jesus Also said, " in vein the do worship me " Why? Because of the following of doctrines of men. Some Christians say that sodomy is just another sin but God said in Deuteronomy its an Abomination. To me that is serious! And that every one should be taking it seriously. God has told us " I have set before you this day good and evil choose the good and live, for I have on pleasure in even my enemies dying. " Please don 't stone the message or the messenger for God has given us free will choose for your self and know there is consequence 's.... With all good wishes and peace profound

It means that Jesus requires us to be faithful, when we truly believe that He is the Messiah, and we 've confessed Him as Lord and Savior, for where or to whom can we turn to but Christ Jesus, and follow Him by the leading of the Blessed Holy Spirit, to attain or have eternal life? No one else but Him, the incarnate Son Of God.
