Some times what Jesus said can be taken out of context. If you go to The Book of Revelation, the sword is the word, that comes from his mouth. We need to study more,in order to get the correct interpretation.

whether you are a good ,Bad or ugly person.you were created in the imagine of God like just like the angels. Angels can not ever die or completely be annihilated or not exist. So since the fallen Angels seperation from eternal god were kicked out of heaven, they must exist some were. So god made a place call hell for them. Always remember the real interpretation of the word hell means forever suffering My fiend Luke 16:23 is not an imaginery story, but of live events jesus talked about. Hell is not a metyphor or some curse word,it is a literal horrible place made for fallen angels SFEG not men. However, When men refuse to be born again or chose jesus as lord and savor from hell, he is all ready bond to go to to hell. Today is the day salvation for you and whosoever, because tomorrow, next week, month, or year could be last time before death seperatates you from time to eternity. Genesis 2:7 Death separates the body from the soul. Your soul is eternal and has to exist somewere forever like the fallen. Man will never not exist beyond the grave or you will always exist forever because of your soul. Matthew 10:28 Please!! do some follow up reseach on this matter and chose wisely. If you fail to go to heaven forever, hell is the alternative forever, because man was created to exist fovever. This is whats unique about the creation of man and angels vs. all the rest of creation of God, we the power of belief and choice. I hope to see you in heaven!!

healing the sick raising the dead and cleansing the lepers and casting out devils are signs of those who believe in the name of the LORD JESUS CHRIST and is evidence that the kingdom of GOD is at hand and that we are under a new covenant of the blood of JESEUS Christ our Lord and redeemer to whom be praise and glory and honor forever amen.

GOD DOES NOT WANT US TO FEAR HIS CREATION MORE THAN HIM,RESPECTING GOD,AND HIS WORD.
  • Bro. Davis on Matthew 10:8 - 11 years ago
Matthew 10:8, We are called to serve the Lord our Great Physician and Redeemer. He has given us his free gift of his spirit Holy Ghost to be healed ourselves and be redeemed through his blood. He calls ALL his disciples to go in the spirit and heal the sick and has given us the same spirit that was in him to cast out devils, raise the dead, heal all manner of diseases in his name Jesus. We can not do it in our own flesh or through our own will, it is ONLY through the Holy Ghost he has freely given us this ability and power to heal and to help others! I know because I am one of his. He has not redeemed us and given us his spirit to just sit on it, but rather we are commissioned to go and use the spirit to reach others and to heal others using that spirit Holy Ghost . Amen

Yes, evangelist Chatauna Robinson, Acts 2: 38 says when we can receive the Holy Ghost when we can befriend Him. "Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. " When we repent, when we get down to the rivers of baptism for the remission of sins. More than stating this to be the condition, this verse helps us to understand the condition of the soul, expected by God if we wish the Holy Ghost to reside in our body. Amen.

The Ezk 1:5 is "These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: " and from what you 've said, is this your reasoning for not "being " an "active " believer? I 'm concerned by your post in that you sure have a lot of "If " in your speech. Reminds me of when Jesus was in the wilderness being tempted of the devil. We must all recognize our "free wills " and this does keep evil in this world we live in. I encourage you to look for the GOOD around you because it exists too.

" I invite you to 1 first pray to the Heavenly Father "in Jesus ' name " and ask Him to send you His Holy Spirit to guide you then 2 as you study, focus on the positives, i.e. what a child of God should be doing feeling thinking. It is very difficult, if not impossible, to be like Jesus when most of your focus is on evil.

I had a life once in seeking my own will : now that I have received Jesus as my Lord and Savior I seek to do His will. It is easy to pray : Not my will but thy will : It is difficult to do : but it can be done. God did not call me into His kingdom to do His will on my own power : But He sent Holy Spirit to help me do His will. Break up your fallow ground and sow not among thorns !!

"And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. " Taking up a cross is for crucifying the flesh. Paul has said "O wretched man that I am! Who shall deliver me from the body of this death? " He was talking about the struggle he and all born again believers deal with when it comes to wanting to do God 's will, but our flesh wants to fulfill the lusts of the old us that we are to deny daily. Things such as lasciviousness, pride, covetousness, rage, etc. To take up your cross is to seek and fulfill God 's will and not your own. To go without for righteousness sake, to make of yourself of no reputation, to keep God 's commandments instead of giving into sinful pleasure, to keep yourself from being corrupted by the things and people of this present evil generation. Christ lived a life of self denial, lowliness, affliction, temptation, living for others and bearing their burdens. He lived for the glory and approval of God and not of man. We are to do the same. It is by no means easy, but rely on his strength and take heart, for he that is in you is greater and has overcome the world. 2 Timothy 2:12 says "If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: " Those that are disciples inwardly and not just outwardly are the ones that are approved of God. Philippians 3:8 1 Corinthians 15:31 Romans 8:18 Philippians 2:4-7 Ephesians 2:3 1 Peter 4:2

I 'd like to better understand verse 38, "And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. " Can anyone direct me to another part of Scripture that explains this in depth? What I 'm thinking it means is that we should acknowledge our sins as we continue to strive to correct them. I 'm also thinking this may mean any physical ailments we are dealing with and, despite the problems these cause us, we continue to follow. I would appreciate Scriptural references to help me understand.

All the things Jesus did for other such as healing them , and he did It FOR FREE! Jehovah supplies everyone a free supply of Holy Spirit, he never charged anyone money. Jesus being the perfect reflection of his father! Didn 't charge anyone either. It is very puzzling to me, how being a pastor or priest has become a Job, literally! Members of the Church PAY THE PASTOR to tell them what they want to hear.

Hello Gurjit Singh: Hebrews 9: 27 "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: The only people who are protecting against judgment after death are those who are asleep in Christ. Those are the individuals who have taken on the name of Jesus Christ by following Acts 2: 38.
  • Gurjit Singh on Matthew 10:35 - 11 years ago
People in the family have great affection and attachment for each others. So they do not feel need of attaching themselves with God.So the Christ is saying that he has come to cut the bond of attachment in the family and outer members so that they may start feeling the need of God in and after their life, because family members can do nothing for us after our death.Only God is our protector after death.
  • Gurjit Singh on Matthew 10:38 - 11 years ago
Cross mean to cross or overcome the obstacles in the way of God.These obstacles are five in numbers.Sex,Anger,Greed,Attachment and ego.Christ told his followers to cross or conquer these five enemies and then they would be able to follow his way.
  • Gurjit Singh on Matthew 10:34 - 11 years ago
Peace, sorrow, pain, greif, love, hate, happiness etc.are the limbs of this world made by God.We are attached to this world so we are in pain,we are in hate,we are in happiness etc.If our child is sick we are unable to sleep. But if the child of neighbour is sick we have no affect on us.The reason is we have strong attachment with our child and have no attachment with neighbour child. So this attachment causes us in greif or pain. Now the purpose of saint is not to change the system of world. They come here to detach us from world and to attach us wit God.The outer peace is temporary. It ends one day.The inner peace is permanent. So christ uses the sword of word, logous and prayer for cutting our attachments with worldly things and attaching us with internal gems like God through word.Saint always told us the way for getting inner peace not the outer peace. The sword is prayer for attaching with word and God and detaching with outer world.
  • Gurjit Singh on Matthew 10:33 - 11 years ago
Jesus is telling us that he can help only those people who do not deny his instructions that God has sent through him.If you do not walk on these instructions I will be unable to help you in the court of God.Instructions are simple living, love everyone, beware of sex,be honest, and give a big time in prayer by self daily.

Hello M. I. riddle Please refer to page 2 up under this section dated 11 9 14, time 3 59 am and time 3 23 am for the answer I already gave. In addition to that I would like to add the following See the Jews was looking for a messiah to come back and fight and get rid of their enemies. However, Jesus came to seek and save that which was lost. This is why he stated he did not come to bring peace in the way that they thought he would come. He came to bring peace to a man s soul. When he stated sword, he did not mean an actually steel blade that would cut flesh, he meant the word of God, Hebrews 4 12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart .
