Sister Shawna, may CHRIST IN US grave us with HIS wisdom and HIS understanding.

1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Christ is the MAN ( Ephesians 5:23), we (the church) are the WOMAN ( Galatians 3:28).

Christ is the TEMPLE (church)( Revelation 21:22).

Christ (the Spirit of LIFE and TRUTH) lives IN US ( Colossians 1:27); therefore we become the TEMPLE ( 1 Corinthians 3:16), ALSO.

We (the woman) are not to teach in the church (ourselves); but, the MAN (Holy Spirit) is to be our teacher.

1 John 2:27 But the anointing (Holy Spirit) which you have received of him (Christ) abideth in you, and you need not that any man (only Christ, the Holy Spirit)) teach you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as he hath taught you, abide in him (the WORD(S) of GOD).

Hello Daniel nice to meet you:

    Sorry no tribe of Dan.

These symbolic tribes made Mary and joseph available

OR chosen to take care of the promise seed; Jesus Christ. Matthew 1; Revelation 7:4-8

by means of these tribes 144,000 will be chosen from God himself (from earth 50ad-?) to share as Jesus helper in Jehovah's ( Psalm 83:18) coming Kingdom. Revelation 20

However, the Dan tribe and many others also mentioned in Matthew 1 did not share in the baptism of holy spirit. ( Acts 1&2 Chapters). so therefore, they have a privilege of being

resurrected back to earth in the

    coming kingdom. Revelation 21:3-5

Genesis 3:19 In the sweat of thy (Your) face shalt (should) thou eat bread, till thou (You) return unto (to) the ground; for out of it wast (was) thou taken (taken): for dust thou (you) art (be or are), and unto (to) dust shalt thou return. (Dust you should/shall Return)

So the Dead returns to Dust. But again Jesus will judge the Dead. And resurrect the Dead. Back to their original human self. Back here on earth. John 5:28,29; 2 Peter 3:13; Revelation 21:3-5

    Karl McGuire sr.

Hey Karl my understanding is, may someone else have another view. John was given a vision of the new earth and where we will be, and in verse 10 we are told the time is at hand. Our time on this earth is short like in ( James 4:14), and we may not be here tomorrow and at death that's it, the door is shut there is no redemption after death. The righteous will still be righteous and the wicked will still be wicked. Verse 11 is a warning and a call for those that have not repented and excepted Jesus as their savior and time is running out.

We are all naturally unjust, and filthy because of sin in us, some of us have been cleansed by the blood of Jesus Christ. A righteous man is only righteous by the righteousness of Jesus. After the thousand years and judgment, only the righteous and holy will walk through those gates into the New Jerusalem, and verses 11 and 15 are those outside that are cast into the lake of fire, as we see in ( Revelation 21:8).

Dogs were not looked on as we look at them today, they were mostly wild cruel unclean filthy animals highly disliked, Jesus associated a woman of Canaan with dogs, but nothing unclean will enter the city. We have a choice, eternity with God and Jesus in beautiful new earth or the lake of fire.

    God bless,

Yes, Jehovah ( psalm 83:18) prophesied or was revealing to Isaiah about Cyrus ( Isaiah 44:28)

he (King of Persia) helped rebuild Jerusalem ( Daniel 10:1). yes, if a prophecy hasn't yet happened... it will happen; and it will be fulfilled and accomplished. ( Isaiah 46:10,11)

    Fulfilled Prophecy:

    Destruction of Jerusalem 70 c.e ( Luke 21:5,6; John 4:21)

    Unfulfilled Prophecy:

    Revelation 18&20 ( 1John 5:19; Revelation 12:7-12)

    Revelation 21:3-4

    Revelation 22 ( Matthew 24:14; Daniel 2:44)

Revelation was written and represented in signs. meaning using people, persons (Warning examples of wicked people and their actions) to describe the message. for example, according to Revelations 6:1-8:

1.The Red Horse: Peace taken from the earth.. They will slaughter one another (Civil wars, the deadly war WWI & WWII etc.)

    2. The Black Horse: (Famine The Great depression etc.)

    3. The pale Horse: Deadly plague...The Grave/Death ( 1918 influenza pandemic, HIV, Flu, Common cold,

    Covid-19,Delta variant etc.)

Why is the world in critical condition?

Satan was hurled down from heaven and is misleading nations rulers and kings:

    1 John 5:19; Genesis 3; Genesis chapter 6 and 9;

    Luke and Matthew 4; Ephesians 6:11-13; Revelation 12:7-12;

    2 Corinthians 4:4

What is the result of Satan the devil's influence:

    2 Timothy 3:1-7

    Matthew 24

    1 Corinthians 6:9,10; Ephesians 5:5

What will Jesus do since his father gave him all authority?

    ( Matthew 24:14;28:18-20)

    1. Revelation 11:15;20 Chapter

    2. Revelation 11:18

    3. John 5:28,29; Revelation 21:3-5;22 Chapter

    Who is law for?

    1 Timothy 1:8-10

    2 Timothy 3:16,17

    john 17:3

They have to make Jesus their Lord and Savior. He sheds his blood over our sins. They must have their names RECORDED IN THE BOOK OF LIFE. Priority number one.

Revelation 20:12 - And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

Revelation 3:5 - He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

Revelation 21:27 - And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.

Revelation 20:15 - And whosoever was not found written in the BOOK OF LIFE was cast into the lake of fire.

Revelation 3:1-6 - And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead. (Read More...)

Revelation 20:11-15 - And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

Luke 10:20 - Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven. (The Book of Life)

Exodus 32:33 - And the LORD said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.

Psalms 69:28 - Let them be blotted out of the book of the living (Life) and not be written with the righteous.

Malachi 3:16 - Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.

Sister Melody, may CHRIST IN US grace us with HIS wisdom and HIS understanding.

    God is SPIRIT.

Christ is SPIRIT (God) with a (glorified) BODY.

SPIRIT is TRUTH (cannot be deceived).

    SPIRIT is LIFE (cannot die).

    WE are FLESH.

    FLESH is against (anti) SPIRIT.

    FLESH is against (anti) TRUTH.

    FLESH is against (anti) LIFE.

Christ came as FLESH, Christ died; and with his death ALL FLESH DIED, Christ (through the power of SPIRIT was resurrected), when he was resurrected ALL FLESH was resurrected (most are dead in UNBELIEF (trespasses) not knowing TRUTH.

The wages of sin (UNBELIEF) IS DEATH.

The wages of GO AND SIN NO MORE (BELIEF) is LIFE and TRUTH (born of SPIRIT).

Those that come to know TRUTH (born again of the SPIRIT; which is TRUTH AND LIFE, the first death and first resurrection) will NEVER DIE they will leave this BODY of FLESH and be given the (glorified BODY of CHRIST).

John 3:13 No man has ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of Man which is in heaven.

Christ (Spirit, Truth, Life) is IN YOU. You are the NEW HEAVEN.

Revelation 21:1 And I saw a new heaven.....

Revelation 21:3 ...Behold, the (temple, Christ is the temple) tabernacle of God is with (WITHIN) men..

Revelation 21:22... for the Lord God almighty and the Lamb are THE TEMPLE of it.

Colossians 1:27 ...this mystery.... CHRIST IN YOU ....

1 Corinthians 3:16 ....ye are the temple (ONE IN CHRIST) of God (SPIRIT).

Truth (Good)(Spirit) overcomes deception (Evil) (Flesh).

Truth will make you a full brother to Christ. SPIRIT with a (glorified) BODY.

Luke 20:36 Neither can they die ANY MORE (you died with Christ); for they are equal to the angels (MINISTERING SPIRITS), and are the children of God (Spirit, truth, life), being the children of (CHRIST'S) resurrection.

Revelation 14:13 Blessed are they which DIE IN THE LORD (Spirit, Truth, Life) from henceforth....
  • Earl Bowman - In Reply - 4 years ago
Sister Janet, may CHRIST IN US grace us with HIS wisdom and HIS understanding.

The temple IS NOT a temple made with wood and stone (and built on the temple mount in Israel).

Revelation 21:22 And I saw no TEMPLE (in new Jerusalem) therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the TEMPLE of it (new Jerusalem).

The Father and Son ARE THE TEMPLE (of new Jerusalem).

When you are born again; the Father and Son, NOW come and live in you (new Jerusalem the Holy City).

When you become the body that the Father and Son lives in (CHRIST IN YOU Colossians 1:27); then you become the TEMPLE.

2 Corinthians 6:16 And what agreement hath the TEMPLE of God with idols (the works of man)? for ye are the TEMPLE of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them (the garden of God), and I will be their God, an they shall be my people.

1 Corinthians 3:16 No ye not that that ye are the TEMPLE OF GOD, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth IN YOU?

Mishael, then perhaps you could show me an answer to this verse John 7:38 "He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his[their] belly[heart] shall flow rivers of living water" [Jesus was talking old testament scripture]

in case others wonder about why this question has anything to do about Revelation see Revelation 21:5&6

5And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

6And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

    Sister Dianne, food for thought:

You commented, God is perfect he cannot produce something not perfect that's where I think in between Genesis 1:1 and Genesis 1:2 the rebellion in heaven could have happened and lucifer came down and screwed things with the other angels that rebelled.

I thought God, through Jesus, created ALL THINGS. Since he created lucifer and lucifer sinned, then lucifer wasn't created perfect. This is what other verses say:

Romans 8:20 Because the creature (creation) ITSELF was made subject to VANITY, NOT WILLINGLY ..

Romans 9:21 Hath the potter not power over the clay, or the SAME LUMP to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour.

God' word says he did not make everything perfect in the beginning, BUT he through the REBIRTH of everyone by SPIRIT will make ALL THINGS PERFECT. IN HIS appointed time; eternity has a lot of time.

Maybe Revelations account of Satan falling from heaven represents something different and at another time.

Revelation 1:3 ...for the TIME IS AT HAND

Doesn't seen those words would apply to something that occurred back in Genesis.

Revelation 1:1 ....An SIGNIFIED it ...

Sounds like Revelation represents; through WORD SYMBOLS, things that mean something other than

what a dictionary would define them as.

Matthew 12:38 But if I CAST OUT devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God (Christ in you) is come unto you.

Revelation 12:7 And there was war in heaven... (maybe heaven SIGNIFIES something)

Revelation 12:9 And the great dragon was CAST OUT (of heaven)..

Jesus said he cast Satan out of YOU

Revelation said out of heaven. Could heaven SIGNIFY YOU.

Revelation 21:1 And I saw a NEW HEAVEN (where CHRIST IN YOU, dwells). SIGNIFIED.

Food for thought, the Spirit reveals.

    Hi Dianne.

When I say create, God brought nothing into something!! Whether you call him Lucifer, The Serpent, The Devil, Satan, Angel, or Cherub. Whether he turned Good to bad or bad to Good, ( In the beginning he didn't exist.) If there was no Lucifer there would be no Devil.

The question wasn't " Did God create the attributes of the Devil"

Lucifer was cast down "From his glorious position" and so did many other Angels, At onetime they didn't exist and God spoke them into existence.

Colossians 1:16. For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, VISIBLE and INVISIBLE, whether they be THRONES, or DOMINIONS, or PRINCIPALITIES, or POWERS: ALL THINGS WERE CREATED BY HIM, and for him:

ALL of creation, this World we live in now is nothing like it was when it was created. We only know of it post Adam sin.

Man is flesh, Sinful, unholy, ( The opposite of God, )

We are born descendants of Adam. Someday we will be like Christ.

    1 John 3:2. (NOT GODS.)

1 Corinthians 15:45-49 . And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.

The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.

As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.

And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

The world we know will someday be destroyed, and the Heavens,

All creation will be redeemed, There will be a new Heaven and earth. Revelation 21:1.

This creation will be known as the creation of old,

Did God create both the old and the new?

    Yes he did.

    God bless.

Only the wicked and unrighteous will be in the fire. You are saved if you obey all 10 commandments and believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God. Look in revelation 14: 12. Paul had referred to christions in the churches he wrote to as saints.

Yes if someone was save they can fall if not repent they are not saved. We must repent to the Lord. Only the lord knows what is in people's hearts. Look at 1 samual 16:7.

I hope this helps my friend. God bless.

    Hi Dgjot.

Something went terribly wrong with the links i attempted to post.

Read Romans 7:23 on through Romans 8:13. with verses 11 thru 13 being the end result.

" But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also QUICKEN YOUR MORTAL BODIES BY HIS SPIRIT THAT DWELLETH IN YOU.

Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.

For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live."

We all have an inward battle but that life giving spirit conducts our walk. You may grieve the spirit but our great shepherd will never leave us.

Hebrews 10:14. For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

2 Timothy 1:12. For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.

    God bless.

( Revelation 7:14-15) The first resurrection:

14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

15 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.

( Revelation 21:3-7) The second resurrection:

1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of Godiswith men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and betheir God.

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

"One of Us" comes full circle:

Genesis1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness...

Genesis 3:22And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us...

    Hi Dgjot.

As promised I would like to elaborate a little further on your great questions.

I think we covered your 1st question, "Does that verse apply to the unsaved exclusively, or does it apply to the "saved" (but somewhat backslidden)?

You said you have wished terrible things on wicked people and Quoted I felt this heaviness weighing on me. It would not go away. I was terrified. My waking thoughts were of damnable things. I asked God every day, "What is this? Why do I feel this doom and gloom?" You seem to have a heavy heart behind those thoughts. This sounds like everyday struggle in a Christians life providing he or she is a believer regardless of the severity of the sin. Concerning the struggle it sounds like Paul in Romans 7:23-25. Link

You stated "Why would Jesus keep sticking up for a habitual sinner like me?" I don't know your spiritual condition but from what you have shared I supposed the habitual sin is the damnable thoughts you mentioned earlier.

Dgjot a habitual sinner in my opinion was never a saved person. But I'm not sure you fall in that category.

You mentioned a friend of yours told you to read Romans 8:1. And you read that verse many times. to put it into context for your situation you may have to take it from Romans 7:23-25. thru Romans 8:11.

    Link

"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, ( who walk NOT after the flesh,) but after the Spirit." This is done by the spirit.

    Link

    Link

    Link

By the death and resurrection of Christ we wasn't just justified we were sanctified and being sanctified and some day be Glorified.

Revelation 21:8 has nothing to do with a believer loosing his salvation.

    God bless.

Dgjot I don't believe your fear is Godly, 2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us the Spirit of fear but of power and love and a sound mind. The word fear is the word deilia which means timidity, we live in the age of grace that's not license to sin, in contrast in Hebrews 4: 16 Let us therefore come boldly or fearlessly no timidity unto the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. A great record of Gods love displayed through jesus christ in luke 5:4 Jesus Christ says to simon peter launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a draught. Now Simon being the fishing professional said Master we have toiled all night and taken nothing but at thy word I'll let down the net. Wait a second Didn't Jesus Christ say let down the nets plural, so did Simon do what he was told nope and yet they were blessed with fish verses 6-8 go tons of fish. When Simon saw it he fell down at Jesus knees and said depart from me for I am a sinful man lord, look how bad this guy felt.Whats the savior do your right guy your an idiot and I don't want to have nothing to do with you. Quite the opposite Never mentions the error or sin and says fear [the word fear is phobeo to cause to terrify] not from henceforth thou shalt catch men and they still got the fish. It's a matter of where's your heart not where's head the disciples questioned him all the time that doesn't make them evil. All the actions that Jesus Christ did were a blessing and it scared the ---- out of peter. If you think about we probably would have done the same thing. Just some stuff to consider. God Bless

Dgjot; You are HIS POSSESSION, He is not going to FAIL to bring you to the FULLNESS of HIMSELF.

He does't consider OUR worthiness; he does all this for us, because of who HE IS.

    He is faithful, not us.

    Be steadfast in this TRUTH.

You don't have to do anything; whatever is needed in your life to bring you to the likeness of himself, he WILL CAUSE you to DO IT.

Philippians 2:13 For it is GOD that WORKETH IN YOU both TO WILL and TO DO of his good pleasure.

Ezekiel 36:27 And I WILL put my Spirit within you, and CAUSE YOU to walk in my statutes, and you shall keep my judgements, and DO THEM.

Rest in this TRUTH and life becomes really easy (even when it is hard).

It happens. God knows you sorrow in your heart. Read Psalm 51.

And then read 1 John 1:9. Bend your knee and pray what that chapter is saying...from your heart.

You're not the only one who this has happened to.

Main thing to follow, is Jesus; His Bible. Get more and more of that in you. Be selective of things we all watch on media.

I've had 35 years to fall in love with the Holy Spirit. He's God; 3rd person of the Godhead. Had a part in creation of this world we live in. Every relationship is a process of getting to know each other. Not all is smooth sailing at first.

Read John chapters 14-17 and learn about the Comforter. Jesus went to the Cross to bring the Holy Spirit to us. The be inside. Reverence Him.

Blasphemy would be as when Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, and all the people said he did that by the power of satan.

Or someone is healed at church and they say the same thing. Or someone speaks in tongues during praise, worship or corporate prayer.

I choose not to judge these things. We are to exercise righteous judgment. I had to learn not to judge. Whatever the Holy Spirit does is always to glorify Jesus.

    You can Google

"grieve or quench the Holy Spirit, teaching"

And read the commentaries on it.

It's actually very serious and we all should look that up.
