think when you read of the churches which ones God loves completely. Smyrna is one who knew the jews that said they were jews but were not. Philly is the other. John 8:44 will tell you. Cains daddy was Satan if you seek the first murderer and that puts you to Gen. 3:15 where the controversy begins between the seeds. At the end of this book you will see that the time was shorten for the elect to 5 months and Satan comes as instead of Christ or ati-Christ and as Daniel told us with peace and flatteries. Remember Our Lord returns as a Lion with Hail Stones crushing Jerusalem because Satan is sitting playing a god. Store up your food and rent for 2 and a half months because the deeds and program of the seals haven't changed. G

No one is perfect, but Christ does allow you to repent. For it also states, "he who has an ear, let him hear what the spirits tell the churches. To Him that overcometh, I will give to eat of the Tree of Life.

Verses 13 to 17 are very important because Jesus wants all to know that when Jesus is called "Son of man" it is in error. Jesus is not the Son of man, Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God. He praises Peter for understanding that fact. Jesus does not want anyone to call him the Son of man. The Son of man is evil = the Antichrist. Knowing that evil men wanted to kill him, Jesus asked not to be pointed out as Jesus the Christ so he could prevent being captured until due time. "For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works." The father of the Antichrist is Satan and with his fallen angels the glory of evil is WAR. When the Son of man sets up his kingdom in full Power after the WW3 peace treaty is signed (which will be broken and war will resume) then Christians will taste death. Jesus speaks of the Son of man in the third person "he", if he was referring to himself he would have said the personal "I". Son of man will judge according to works (like how much money people have and how important are their job skills). Christians will be asked to deny Christ as Savior or be killed. "For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it." Jesus does not judge based on works alone (he does require one to have love and charity). Jesus explains that if you are a Christian and will call Jesus, "the Son of God", then you will lose your earthly life but Jesus will save your soul and give you eternal life. Verse 28 explains that some disciples will die at the hand of the Son of man (an AntiChrist) because they will refuse to deny Jesus is their Savior and the Son of God. Satan already has started a kingdom on earth as explained ... "I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan ( Revelation 2:9)".

My sins have left a crimson stain upon my life; I must repent and never go back to my old ways, God's word is all I will be living for, from this day forward and I truly repent of my sins and my fornications. Abba Father I truly repent in Jesus Christ name. Amen thanks Holy Spirit for never leaving me alone.

The last and first, the one who was slain is Jesus Christ, he is talking about the believer, the body of Christ, he is talking about the reward he will give to his own ones who will endure to the last in the race, of life. He is talking about the character of the believers, how they behave once they receive Jesus Christ himself. At first they are zealous for the Lord, then as time goes by, they turn back/look back like the wife of Lot did. As a believer we are not supposed to look back but keep on going in the things of God. For when we go back to sin, we are crucifying Jesus Christ again and again. So it better to stick to his ways of Holiness and endure in life. It is a time to forsake the ways, norms and regulations of the word and follow the precepts of God, His commandments and bear the fruits in life. Once we have Spiritual fruits and live according to his ways, we will overcome. One thing I pray is the Lord Jesus Christ to write the name of his father on my forehead, the Holy Spirit to be my friend, that I may be surrounded with the angels of the Lord Jesus Christ. I really want to rule the nations with the Lord Jesus Christ. To him, Jesus Christ the mighty ruler I give the praise and to The Holy Spirit I say: welcome in my life, and unto God Almighty: worth is the name of the Lord. God will look away from you and I if we sin, as he did to Jesus when he was on the cross. I don’t want my name/your name to be left out in the book of life. Hear what the Holy Spirit is saying: ‘’take heart’’. Thank you.

Amen, Salvation is wholly of grace. It is about the finished work of Christ, not about our ability to endure and overcome. All true Christians have already overcome!

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

not all the church goers are saved there are a lot of corruptions going on in their lives some greed on moneys and some keep living in their sinning lives and this I don't understand at all because to me once you accepted Jesus Christ as your own Saviour you live in a new life and all things becomes new...I do know there is a lot of struggles to obey His Words day by day but as long as you are faithful to HIM I believe we enjoy the new life we have in Him as we follow His foot step day by day in His mighty living Word! So repent whoever you are out there before it is too late!

    13. Not just us, but you! When you except it and know it. It is an invite. When you receive the blessings of others. 14. Christ Jesus is Anointed/God`s Saviour. The word "Jews" at the end is Resident, kenites mixed in with the Jews. Its not always speaking of Jews but the people that had mixed in and the "they" crucified Christ at that time. ( John 8:44…will give you an idea of who they are. Study the scriptures and it will lead you back to Genesis 3: 15 the serpents seed. Revelation 2:8 and 3:7 the two churches Jesus loved is the ones teaching the key of David about them,"they" the jews that say they are jews but are not. # 7017 kenites sons of Cain. They mixed in 1Chron. 2:55. Also God`s 10 enemies are listed in Genesis 15:19,20,21. So we learn that 2 of every flesh made it through the flood, 2 kenites. It got so bad that the Nethinims, given to service, wood cutters and water haulers for the priest that in the book of Ezra 8:15 there was "none" nope, not one priest but a bunch of kenites playing preacher. But they started watching it and Jeremiah watched the bunch of vipers and even then they had mixed in with the Jews and finely did what scriptures states in 3:15. But Christ will return and He will crush Satans head for sitting where he ought not playing instead of Christ. Just keep Christ in your mind as written in 1 Corinthians 11:10 because Satan and his bunch of vipers are coming as 2 Corinthians 11:13,14 and that transformed is #3345 disquise. Satan as instead of Jesus and satans vipers as priest with iron breastplates, meaning priest breastplates on acting as angels of light but are not spoken of in Revelation 9:9 also hair like woman means soft spoken. Yup! Super preachers and they will take your family members to death who is the son of perdition who is death. But they know the truth and don't want to go. We find antichrist an abomination. So for 2 and a half months while satan is here there is no buying or selling and we don't bow down to no fake god we wait for our True King and husband Our LORD Christ Jesus.

Verse 37 says: if any man thinks himself to be a prophet, or spiritual let him acknowledge that the things I write are commandments. The law did not provide for women priests. The word of God does not provide for women pastors or teachers in the church. In 1 Timothy 2:12-15 the Holy Spirit speaks by the mouth of Paul: But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to ursurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. For Adam was first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in transgression. Paul in bring this teaching to the church takes us back to Genesis after the fall. The Husband was placed as the ruler or overseer of the house ( Genesis 3:16). She cannot be a teach or overseer in the Household of God. In 1Peter 3:1-2 it says: likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands, that, if any obey not the word, they may without the word be won by the the conversion (or conduct) of the wives; while they behold your chaste conversation coupled. The disobedient husband was to be won over by the chaste, reverend and holy conduct of the wife and not by her preaching to him. In Revelation 2:20 Jesus says: notwithstanding I have a fem things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed to idols. Scripture has compound revelation. In 2Peter 3:15-17 Peter says: and account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you: As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, in which the that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also with other scriptures, unto their own destruction. Clearly here in verse 17 Peter says the epistles of Paul are scripture. Jesus says in John 10:35: the scripture cannot be broken. The Holy Ghost church is covenanted to God by His word and his spirit as it says in Isaiah 59:21: as for me, this is my convenant with them, saith the Lord: My spirit that is upon the and my words which I have put in thy mouth shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed's seed, from henceforth and for ever. God put his word in the mouth of Paul for he was a seed son sent by the Holy Ghost (Acts13:4). The Holy Ghost by the mouth of Paul is telling us here in 1Corinthians 13:33-37 the position of women in all the congregation of the saints. In verse 37 he says clearly it is the commandment of the Lord. Any commandment of man taught as doctrine in the church is leaven of Pharisees and Saducees (Mathew 16:6-12;15:1-9). They were vain worshippers because they taught for doctrine the commandments of man. They broke the feast by eating the passover bread with leaven of false doctrine ( 1 Cor. 5: 6-8, Exodus 12: 15)

"...to kill with sword..." ( Revelation 6:8)

I find it interesting that the word "sword" here is the same word used for sword in Revelation 1:16; Revelation 2:12,16; Revelation 19:15; and Revelation 19:21. ([Greek #4501 - in a James Strong concordance [cover and pages missing])

In other usages, #3162 is used for sword.

The #4501 is always referencing Jesus and the Word of God; whereas, #3162 seems to reference a physical sword.

Once in Hebrews 4:12, the #3162 is used saying the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword... So the word of God is being contrasted with a physical sword.
Also, in Ephesians 6:17 the #3162 is used; but, the sword we are told to take (the sword of the Spirit) is the Word of God.

I find it interesting that the sword in Revelation 6:8 is #4501.

These seven churches are examples for us to see that 5 out of seven were failing the teaching from the get go. These 7 are in a some what circle and 7 is spiritual completeness. They still exist in their teaching and it give us an example to test the fruit of what we step into. 2 of them taught what God wanted to see and look for. Learn of the jews that say they are jews but are not. Kenites, tares, satans seed sowed. Not only that but the whole key of David. I wouldn't worry about weather God knew if 2000 years later if candle sticks exist or if the English translation is exceptable for the name of a church. Point being, 7 churches and seven angels. God wrote this Book to enlighten and Christ gave it to John to give to us to learn.

"Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols."

As the body of Christ, where are we and where is each individual? Can we confess Jesus as Christ? Can we hold faithful to His word? Can we preach the word and do good deeds?

Can the new man acknowledge and know Jesus and be faithful in preaching His word, and, yet, at the same time not have victory over the old deeds of the flesh? These deeds manifesting themselves in fornication and eating things of this world. Is every believer and the church as a whole obtaining victory over the deeds of the flesh or is a duality seen? The church preaching God's word and doing good deeds in the community, and, yet, failing to overcome the flesh nature; deeds of the flesh are seen? Are we seen as overcoming the world, or as becoming one with the deeds of the world?

Jesus says to repent of these deeds. "And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works." ( Revelation 2:2l-23)

The POWER of God is the Gospel. The Gospel is
the news of His LOVE! The Church has lost it's
ability to convey His love because we have
turned from the "Spirit of love." We use "form"
instead of Spiritual "function." WE have replaced
Mercy with "machinery" We love "gilt" more than
Grace. Are we "Christ like?" We are not what we
    profess! NO? "Search the scriptures!"

Good behavior should always be an act of worship. Resisting remptation, forgiving, serving, and loving each other are all opportunities to tangibly express our love for Jesus....not to get a star next to our name or apat on the back.
For many, love is just a word, A passing phase, a brief emotion; But love that honors Christ our Lord Responds to Him with deep devotion.

Smynra/Philly these two churches teach the Key of David-them that say they are Jews and are not so what do we get out of this. Blood line. Who came from king David-Jesus so we know a true king is to sit on the throne. What did Jesus say in His first warning in Mark 13 and the scriptures tell us. Don't be decieved by a man. Don't go here or there if they tell you to follow theme even to or in a desert because its not me until the hour of temptation is over with and there is a falling away first and that son of perditon/death is on the throne playing like a god. Remember mother, father, sister, brother, will turn over there or take them to death thinking when they turn them over their turning them over to Jesus but its not.

  • Ms. Tonika C. on Revelation 2 - 15 years ago
Chapter two is the start of the seven churches of Asia. This is a message to the church of Ephesus. The works and labour of the Ephesus church, could not bear the evil and the liars, but God still something against them because they had left there first love, I find myself relating to this church sometimes, but I thank God for His grace and mercies, and that He cares enough to get me back in line with Him, and that I can get it right before it's to late, and thank God that He is not like man, He's giving us all a chance to get it right. The church Smyrna was undergoing great persecution, but thru that they had a hope in Jesus, the church of Smyrna knew that they at the end they would win, and would be richly rewarded by the Lord. and that's how we should feel, that we might be going thru some trying times right now, but it will get better real soon, if we just keep the Faith. The church of Pergamos was accused of idol worshiping, and if they did not repent immediatly of their evil, the Lord was going to fight against them with the word of God, (Rev.2:12) These things, He which hath the sharp sword with two edges. Also its in ( Heb. 4:12) For the word of God is quick and powerful and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit and of the joints and marrow and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. I love that scripture, because there is no excuse to sin, because the word will find you out. The last church in chapter two was the church of Thyatira, Jesus was giving them the opportunity to repent from tolerating immorality and false teachings, they were exhorted to returm to the truth, All seven of these churches has a message all by itself that we are to learn from, and to live are according to what Jesus is saying and giving them a chance to turn from. ( Rom. 2:11) For there is no respect of persons with God. The bible is a blue print of our lives, and God has laid it all out for us in black and white, we can't add to it or can we take from it, we just have to live by the word everyday, and remember you will be judged for what you know in the bible, (not by me) but by a true and Holy God. Be blessed in Jesus name.
