God declared the 7th day Sabbath at creation, and in Ex 20, the 4th command. We are instructed not to work on the sabbath, God has never changed the 7th day (Saturday) to the 1st day (Sunday).

The sabbath was changed by the Roman Catholic church *Constantine*. It's a deception

I have heard conflicting information. In the Old Testament, God commands us to not work on the Sabbath and keep it holy. In the New Testament after Jesus has died for us on the cross, there is a new covenant with God. Are we still commanded to not work on the Sabbath?

    Gen.4.25 "Seth"

"And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel,"

'Another seed'is pendent on the curse of God placed on the serpent referring to 'her seed'. God said,'and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel'. Their enmity was foreordained in the divine Will and Eve is now conscious of her role in it. Devil sins from the beginning and she is growing in her understanding. Significantly the Holy Spirit does not provide the significance of the name of Abel as does with Cain. The name merely stated that she was the recipient,' I have gotten a man from the Lord.'This another seed' referred to the Generation of Jesus Christ. It is thus the Spirit has placed Generation of Adam and Noah in the following chapters to trace the progression of a holy family before the great flood. The Spirit also takes pains to name the another seed' in each generation.

Compare this with another angel referring to the same holy family set in the heavenly places so the revelation of Jesus Christ that God gave is given through an angel, who is a fellow-servant.(Rev.1.1) So another angel serves God in the world of Spirit as in the world of flesh and blood in this verse, "And the LORD hath sent unto you all his servants the prophets, rising early and sendingthem; but ye have not hearkened.."(Jer.25.4;7.25-26) Also significant is the narrative here is continuation of ' These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth in the day...'(Gen.2.4) Eve is now in the Salvation Plan of God becoming aware that Abel referred to the Son, so Seth was her yea-saying: she would inculcate in Seth of being part of the generation of Jesus Christ. God made Adam a living soul to be the double for the Son. Being bone of his bones she names Seth correctly. Seth stepped in the breach made by Cain proving faith was in his DNA. He was the branch as Jesus is called.

    Phillipians 1:7-12

Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace.

8For God is my record, how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ.

    9And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment;

    10That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ;

11Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

Verse 7 shows that Paul has hidden treasure; as it were of things of heavenly value that were established when he fulfilled the Apostolic role of founding the Phillipian church. They are apparently co-workers in the body of Christ which resulted in great affection of Paul for them (verse 8). Paul's response to them was to continue to increase in love in relation to knowledge and judgment. This shows once again that judgment; righeous judgment that is was epected as it is mentioned also in the correction of the Corinthians who were anything but settled and mature in their walk. This theme is repeated later on in Phillipians 4:8 (what is stated in verse 10). The fruits of righteousness no doubt show works worthy of repentance. This theme is first seen in Matthew 3:8 and repeated elsewhere. (see Gal. 5:22-23).

    Verses 12-14

    But I would ye should understand, brethren, that the things which happened unto me have fallen out rather unto the furtherance of the gospel;

    13So that my bonds in Christ are manifest in all the palace, and in all other places;

14And many of the brethren in the Lord, waxing confident by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.

Apparently Paul had a witness in the palace or governmental stronghold where he was. Clearly he was able to get letters in and out and others were aware of his plight

in the folk classical song " go tell it on the mountain" , the angels come down to the angels to relay that jesus is born to fulfill the prophecy. Why does the song imply that the shepards must then go to the high alter place to speak with god to relay that the christ is born. The song otherwise seems to have other meanings.

    Gen.4.16 "East of Eden"

"And Cain went out from the presence of the Lord, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden."

Upon man's disobedience God's curse, "Cursed was the ground for thy sake" and it explains the ground from which was he was taken. " for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return."(3.19) With God removing his presence from he it is no longer, 'In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread,' it is rising from the table with dyspepsia, and many other symptoms of a sinful man. After the ground to which he was going is what we got, inasmuch as we have mutant weather, contaminated sea and land soaked with pollutants. Yet for a few more dollars, it is drill, drll, drill baby' the mantra of nations gone bad. The ground produces such morally dyspeptic persons cannot step out without a lethal weapons. Such laws to protect a citizen show to what depths nations may descent for what they cannot carry to the kingdom come. They are as Praphet Isaiah say," But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt./ There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked."(Isa.57.20-21)

Cain's progress does not stop with the land of Nod but he is a pioneer whose track the Holy Spirit informs us was led by unclean spirit of disobedience. The fool may treat it as individualism making sweat and blood of severl others as his own. How far can such fools go? "For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty."(Rev.16.14)

Psalm 75 - Pastoral Reflection: "God Is the Righteous Judge"

    This psalm begins with gratitude.

Before any judgment or confrontation, we acknowledge the presence of God - and that He is worthy of praise.

"Your name is near": God is not distant. He is close, accessible, attentive to what happens among men.

Verses 2-3 "When I choose the appointed time, I will judge with equity. When the earth and all its people quake, it is I who hold its pillars firm.

He is the one who decides who rises and who falls.

If you feel hidden, forgotten, or invisible - know this.God sees you. And when the time is right, He Himself will exalt you.

It reminds us that God is not to be mocked. He is just.

9 As for me, I will declare this forever; I will sing praise to the God of Jacob.

10 I will cut off the horns of all the wicked, but the horns of the righteous will be lifted up.

    Gen.4.9-10 "Thy bother's voice"

"And the Lord said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother's keeper? And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground.

'Life of man is in the blood' is not introduced by the Law of Moses which is but a shadow of the blood of his Son shed for the sins of the world. "For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul."(Lev.17.11)

" This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh." In this context let us go back to the creation of Eve. Adam referred to his flesh and it was implied that soul was included in the transaction between them. Jesus Christ the redeemer of my soul refers to his Atonement Man and woman were one flesh for the same reason. Jesus Christ who of God became redemption, " That no flesh should glory in his presence."(1 Cor.1.29-30)

On this basis the blood has his own voice in the Son who shed his on the cross. The Word became flesh whose voice has never been still. For the same reason Jesus includes Abel by name as his martyr. The earth is one big altar considering the manner sinful world has caused violence from wars, death from forever chemicals legally passed on the innocent victims of Corporate greed. Earlier it was DDT, flouride and you name it, the earth shall however testify as St James writes in his epistle. " Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days."(Jas.5.1-6) If only the nations bragged, 'Make the earth Great again'. That is the way of the godly. Instead nations conduct as unrighteous as Cain who aked, "Am I my brother's keeper?

Hello Dewayneelsied2024. You'll find that reference in Zechariah 11:12,13. However, this reference doesn't specifically name Jesus, but this account of the prophet Zechariah looks ahead, not only to Israel as they were then, but what they would (or, could) be under their Messiah.

Here we read that Zechariah stands as the 'good shepherd', even as a shepherd who carries his two staves (an old plural for 'staffs') one for guiding & counting the sheep and the other for pulling in straying sheep, the prophet calls these staves, "Beauty and Bands". Some (v11, "the poor of the flock") received his message, but most refused to believe and so Zechariah asked for his wages, which was "thirty pieces of silver", which was the price of a slave. And this money, the LORD commanded the prophet to cast to the potter "in the house of the LORD", even as Judas would finally do in his betrayal of Jesus. The staves which once represented God's favor & delight ("Beauty") and binding together in Union ("Bands") of Israel and Judah, were both broken by the prophet showing their future rejection of God & His Christ. But those in Jesus, of both Israel & Gentiles, would become one & restored into intimate fellowship with God once again ( Galatians 3:28; John 17:20,21). Just thought to add a little more to help understand that prophetical Word from God through Zechariah.

"In the divine Will the earth was the Son his visible image who shall notwithsanding the element of sin introduced by Can shall be redeemed as was in the will."

    Gen.4.11 "Curse on man"

"And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother's blood from thy hand."

What curse did was to blaspheme , or cast aspersion on the divine Will. God sending his only begotten Son was to the earth designated as Jesus Christ. The earth was made to appear for this reason alone. The earth abides forever had no other basis than that he made visible whatwas unseen: His holiness. What Jesus said in another context is relevance here. "Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!"(Mt.18.7)

In the divine Will, the earth was void and without form. In the divine Will the earth was the Son his visible image who shall notwithsanding the element of sin introduced by Can shall be redeemed as was in the will.

Woe to Cain by offending God.

    Gen.4.1 "Carnal wisdom"

"And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the Lord."

Knowing is not understanding. Knowledge of the holy is understanding. Having sinned Adam's fear of God similarly undergoes a change. Fear based on his self. Where is the honour due to the name of the Lord? Adam hid himself from his presence since sin came between them. Similarly Eve must have had a sneaking suspicion in herself whether Adam as her head, Is it a good thing or not? Sorrow of conception did not stop with it. Life itself was a great unknown.

What of Cain? Growing up he would not know what he was therefore? With the coming of Abel he would have felt he was there to fight forever for their parent's affections. It is thus with man's disobedience their comfort zone was no longer in the quiet confidence that is the hallmark of reverence. He that is holy is holy indeed. "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned." (Rom.5.12)

    A study in Phillipians

    Verses 1-6

Paul and Timotheus, the servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus which are at Philippi, with the bishops and deacons:

2Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

3I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,

4Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy,

    5For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;

6Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

I may have done a study in the past on this book but there are always new things to mine in scripture. As we look at the first verse it seems Paul and Timothy are both in jail at this point or it is jointly written. This verse shows that a rather lengthy period of time apparently allowed for bishops and deacons to be established since the first day (verse 5) until then. Paul apparently had been thinking of them and in prayer since its inception; and realized in verse 6 that the Lord would complete the work started would be completed. Verse 6 could seem inaccurate as that church along with all the other ones is technically a historical sight but there are those representing the church in Greece. The churches which are mentioned in Revelation were all in Turkey and were long since destroyed as was virtually all Christian places of worship today in that country. We can be certain a primary meaning of verse 6 is in relation to the Gospel being preached to the surrounding areas where new ones were established thus the spiritual generations still exist in all of us today. Obviously the work in us as individuals ends at death in the case of this church; or until the Rapture possibly for us if indeed we are in the time and season for that.

We should also keep in mind those who may have lived in the city but had home churches they attended as well; although this was the primary place of worship then.

    (1 John Part 14):

1 John 2:27 - But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

But the anointing which you have received of him abides in you, literally Present Tense, is abiding right now! And you need not that any man should teach you. Why? It's because they have already been taught, and they have the anointing of God living inside of them. The word anoint is the base word for CHRISTOS for Christ.

If you've been born of God's Spirit, you have the Spirit of Christ in you. If you get ministered to by any of these things I'm sharing, it's not because you're getting ministered to by me. It is God that is speaking to your heart. And if you read what I am sharing and you're not being ministered to by His Spirit, then my words mean nothing!

And if you know Christ, He is teaching you from within you, not from me. You hear the words that are spoken to you in church (Wherever that might be), or you read the words in the bible, but it is God's Spirit that ministers to people.

And that is something that some in the ministry have failed in over the years. They think that they need to keep people ignorant, and keep them from understanding the word, and that way they need to depend on leadership.

When God's Spirit is in you and teaches you, once God has established you in the truth, you don't need people to say "Hey, I got a new revelation or teaching." Once you are grounded in what John teaches, and what Paul teaches, and Peter teaches, once you have been grounded by them, you have no need that anyone come along and teach you.

But as the same anointing teaches you of all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as it has taught you (so this is Past Time), you shall abide in him. So, at one time they were taught. And they're told to remain in what you were taught.

    (1 John Part 13):

1 John 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

Who is a liar but he that denies that Jesus is the Christ? I think I mentioned this a while back, maybe a year or two ago that Jesus Christ was the phrase used after the first century. It started out as Jesus the Christ, and then the term "the" was dropped. Christ is His title. It's Jesus the Messiah. That's what Christ means. CHRISTOS in Greek is the same as MASHIACH, or Messiah in Hebrew. And it means anointing.

The people who deny that Jesus is the anointing of God, that person is antichrist that denies the Father and the Son.

1 John 2:24 - Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.

Let that therefore abide in you, which you have heard from the beginning. The word abide (MENO) is a key word in the Christian faith. The words abide, remain, and continue in this verse are all a form of the same word. A believer is someone who is abiding or remaining in Christ, and Christ is remaining in them. It is continuous, and it is permanent. That is the characteristic and evidence of a genuine believer.

So, he's telling them, that which you heard from the beginning, let it abide in you. You see, they had to be taught at one time. If that which you heard from the beginning shall remain in you, you also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father. It's just what Jesus said in John 8:31. He said if you are my disciples, you will continue in the word.

    (1 John Part 12):

1 John 2:20 - But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.

But you have an unction, which is the word for anointing. You have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things. So, a believer has what is called the anointing. That is called the CHRISMA, not CHARISMA but CHRISMA. And if it sounds like Christ, it's because Christ came from this word. The word Christ means anointed.

So, he says you have the Christ living inside of you. He's talking to people who have already been taught by the apostles, who already have the Spirit of Christ in them. He says you have no need that anyone teach you. You have the anointing within you. You've already been taught by the apostles. You know what the truth is. You have the Spirit of Christ in you. It's the Spirit of Christ in you that ministers to you, not people from the outside.

Even when we get together for a bible study, and there's an audible voice that's being heard, there are different things going on inside of everyone. Everybody is different. They have different things going on. It's not because of what's going on in the study. God's just using that as a tool. It's Christ in you that ministers to you, not the person presenting the teaching.

He says you're not like the children of the antichrist. You are remaining with the believers. You might try and quit, but like Jonah, you can only go so far. You have to realize that when you are on the run, you're taking Christ with you. And that doesn't last very long. But you remain. You're in Christ and Christ is in you.

You can quit, but you can't quit, if that makes sense! You can run, but you can't hide. Christ will never leave us nor forsake us. So, I guess I'm stuck being saved, my sins forgiven, and getting to go to heaven when this life is over. As far as I see it, that's the best deal going!

    (1 John Part 11):

1 John 2:15 - Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

The commandment is: Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. The word love is what is called a Present Imperative. It means continuous. In the Greek text, it's literally translated stop continually loving the world. If any man should love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. It's not love for the Father. It's the Father's love Himself. If a person has a love for the world, the love of the Father is not in them.

    (1 John Part 10):

1 John 2:13 - I write unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. I write unto you, little children, because ye have known the Father.

I write unto you, fathers, and these would be the older believers, because you have known Him from the beginning, that is, from the beginning of His earthly ministry. I write unto you, young men, and these are young adults, because you have overcome the evil one. Notice that. You have overcome the evil one.

Whenever a believer, born again, saved in Christ, the moment that person is saved, they have already overcome Satan. We don't need to fight him. It's always mentioned in the Perfect Tense. When we get to 1 John Chapter 4, he says you are of God little children. He's speaking about the spirit of antichrist that's in the world.

He says you are of God little children, and you have overcome them, because greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. The spirit of antichrist is in the world. But if you belong to Christ, you don't have to worry about it because you've already overcome it. You're not going to be overtaken.

This is all based on the words of Jesus recorded in John 16:33, these things I have spoken unto you that in me you might have peace. In the world you shall have tribulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.

Hopefully I am making enough sense to where you can see where the connection is. If Jesus has overcome the world, if Jesus has defeated Satan, and He is living inside of me, I have overcome because greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. I cannot be taken away. What an encouraging thing to be telling people!

He goes on to say I write unto you, little children, PAIDIA. This is a different Greek word that has to do with children that are old enough for discipline, correction. I write unto you, little children, because you have known the Father.

    Jn 14.3 "Prepare a place" (2 of 2)

Time, times and half a time- The time designated for her is something else.

According to the Covenant we have marine life and when God prepares a great fish it is for Jonah who is a sign to which Jesus alludes."An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas/For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth."(Mt.12.39-40)

Similarly the 'bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh' has their own designated place. Thus the valley of dry bones is pendent on the fulfilment of the will of the Father. This explains the injunction Jesus placed on the disciples, "These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: but go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel." In the kingdom of God it is strait and narrow path whereas there is no single straight line in natural world. The mediator is prepared to serve and he is not dilly dally with a bit of side business as Elisha's servant did to his own hurt. God has provided everything needful for our life and godliness. We may go through bad patches in life as Elijah but God had taken ravens to look after him. There is nothing of luck or accident when God has sanctified you in his Son.

    Jn 14.3 "Prepare a place" (1 of 2)

"And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also."Promises of God are all yea in his Son. "For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us."(2 Cor.1.20-22) The seal of approval is the pledge given to us from above. Jesus promised of a place prepared for us. The Holy Spirit uses the the word prepare in the sense God has his Will complete, and his holiness requires no correction whatsoever. The Son was sent to the world accordingly on a mandate. In the context Jesus says this also tells his earthly ministry was drawing to a close. According to the everlasting Covenant a body was prepared for the Son, a glorious spiritual body that shall be prepared on the body that we shall call the Word become flesh.. In this human likeness he came suffered hunger and suffered the agony of death on the cross. In his resurrection he dies no more. He that sanctified us by sending the Holy Spirit and the Son who of God has become sanctification make us as one. It is thus we call him the firstborn from the dead.

"Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me." (Heb.10.5) It is thus a body prepared for every circumstance is clearly embedded in the holiness of God and it shall be ready in use as and when required. The woman clothed with the Son even where she is left out has a place, a wilderness nevertheless. God's provision to provide for her is set in days, because the day is decreed for the Son. "And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days." (Rev.12.6) That is the left-behind church, and preserved by grace; while Israel go ' into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent."

    Gen.3.22 "Live forever" (2 of 2)

St Paul says, "For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me."(Rom.7.11) In the will of God the Lamb slain betokened the Lamb of God and the path,"I am the Way." The Law of the Spirit set these symbols as certain as they existted in a world of its own. It is for these reason we need to look at the two worlds framed by the world not with our conventional wisdom but in faith. It ie not heaven up and earth as below but it is Up and Down and Across. It is anchored on a word-wide web.

All those dry bones in the open valley exist and belong to the sons of perdition. The Vision of the Dry Bones (Ezek.37) points to a great army that shall form the army of Gog and Magog. " And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea./And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them." (Rev.20.9-10) The beloved city is not literal Jerusalem but the holy city above. The Word of God on a white horse has his army too. "And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean."(Rev.19.14)

Either a believer is for Christ or he is against him. Once saved is always saved is what Satan has taught the misbegooten. They are still clothed with apron of fi g leaves. What drives them? "For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty./Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame./ And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon".(Rev.16.14.16) The same migration of nations after the flood to it

    Gen.3,22 "Live forever" (1 of 2)

Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:"

    What was Adam after sinning?

He was servant to sin. And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever."(Jn.8.35) As long as sin of disobedience remained sorrow of conception produced as disparate children as Abel and Cain for one thing, The ground became a curse for man's sake and the devil having become his new handler made only the garden untenable. The kingdom of God would not be holy if let, so God expelled man and woman. What was east of Eden?

The Law of the Spirit shall keep the everlasting Covenant inviolate. Eden as a microcosm of the kingdom of God has not changed the House rules merely because man fell through his self-will. Heaven or the firmament was a sign: Christ the same yesterday, today and forever."For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie."(Rev,22.15)

When Jesus testified before Pilate, he stood there as the Word become flesh. Representing the Word was with God he could still claim of his kingdom as different from the world unblessed by the word of God. "Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews."( Jn 18.36) There is a difference between the outer darkness and the kingdom of light. East to west showed the path to the tree of life and life ever after. It is thus the three kings of the east followed the star and found infant Jesus.

Let me digress a little. By disobeying the commandment sin of Adam slew me even before I cam into the world. By the same token the coat of skins with which God clothed them referred to the emblem of the slain Lamb.(Rev.13.8)
