Once we are saved and sealed by God's Spirit, it is Satan who wants to take us away. He can't take our salvation from us because in order for him to do that, he would have to remove God's Spirit from within us, and he can't do that.
As was stated, God has promised that He will never leave us nor forsake us. If He never leaves, how can we leave?
If we walk away, guess what? He's still there inside us because He said He will never leave. A person who does leave was never saved to begin with.
1 John 2:19 says "They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us."
This is one of the important verses of the bible. John is saying the spirit of antichrist has come into the world.
But there are people from our physical fellowship, our church that left us to go follow the spirit of antichrist, the false teachers, and the false teachings.
But, he says the reason why they left us is because they really were not one of us, because if they were one of us they would have remained with us.
John says don't worry about it because if the person belongs to Christ, they're not going anywhere.
If Christ is truly dwelling in a person's life, even if they did leave, it would not last long before His Spirit inside brings them back.
If we want to find out if we really belong to Christ, the best test would be to try and walk away. If you can stay away without any conviction, then His Spirit was never in you and you were never saved.
But I can tell you from experience, if His Spirit lives in you, you will not be able to stay away for long.
The conviction will always be there because He will never leave us nor forsake us, even if we "walk away" from Him.
I so agree with you that after we are born again and saved by the Atoning Blood of Jesus all sins are wiped away and then when God looks upon us he sees Jesus in us. I too think about that day of the Lord and remember how the Lord told us every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that JESUS IS LORD! What a fearful day for the wicked but a glorious day for the Saints.
May God bless you as well, especially in these dark days we are in. Our faith will be tried like we have never experienced before and Jesus will carry us all through the storm. Stay faithful and do not fear and cave to the worlds demands. Fear God only not man.
When Christ appears this corruption shall put on incorruption , we shall be changed .
We will see Jesus without sin . Our hope is to see him but certainly not in our sins .
When I see him I shall be changed to be like him , I shall love his appearing .
If sin was a problem I would dread meeting him .
But Jesus nailed it to his cross and rose from the dead and gives life to those that believe on his work .
Paul said reckon your self dead to sin and alive unto God . It's by the cross of Christ we can do this . The power of the cross is real . I have overcome many things more powerful than me by trusting in the cross as much as needed to over come the problem .
Paul said the Cross is to us the power of God .
We see the beauty & richness of his Gospel coming through as a result of that intimacy & impartation of Divine Truths John enjoyed & received.
Yes it's real and you are honest , but you are living a defeated experience, I have a few tips for you , you may consider too help you overcome . I have found very helpful .
Study what separation from sin is . Where you go who you talk to , what you watch , you must not participate with it or it will defile you . God gets no pleasure in a defiled person . He hopes people will be separated unto him .
You rarely would hear about this in a church , they do not understand it . Pure religion according to James chapter 1 is to keep your self unspotted from the world . Psalm 1 also talks about this and 1 Corinthians talks about separation from dis honorable vessels in a church setting .
I hope you get the message , you must be clean from sin as much as possible to have a good relationship with God .
Our temple must be holy for the lord .
The word of God cleans us as we meditate on it . So we need it often . Also touching other defiled people or agreeing with errors etc can defile us .
You can not compromise truth .
If you spend time studying true separation you will have more desire and success with The Lord . Staying out of sin will make it easier to find the faithful life . Can't do both .

I just wanted to say that both your testimonies are a perfect example of humbleness and what it means to be in submission to Christ.
Oftentimes we let our human pride get in the way and don't want to admit that we are broken vessels in need of mending.
Even Paul struggled between his flesh and the Spirit of Christ in him, saying that there was nothing good in his flesh.
But no matter what our past was, Christ forgave us for it. Our sins were nailed to the cross with Him.
For myself, I truly believe that when I stand before God, I'm going to know that I don't deserve to be there. All my sins are going to be laid out in front of me, and in my case it's probably going to be volumes. What am I going to say? What can we say when we're standing before holiness?
When we stand before God, He's not going to see any good in us. But what He will see is His Son in us. He's going to see Jesus Christ in us, the one who justified us (Declared us not guilty) the one who sanctified us, and that's how we enter into His presence.
I think we all can learn from your testimony. I believe the Lord wants those who are willing to confess to Him that they are broken and in need of mending, the person who gets up every morning and says "Lord, I can't do this without you!"
That should be our confession to our Lord and Savior.
Thank you both for reminding me that I oftentimes forget what it means to humble myself before the Lord.

I'm only too aware of people being compelled to read from Scriptures that they find difficult to read from or comprehend. They either get bored with it or eventually lose interest, or in the case of most Muslims I worked amongst in Pakistan, they were forced to read the Quran in Arabic rather than the language they fully understood. So, they received almost nothing from their readings but found divine merit by reading in (what they believed was) the heavenly language.
I would be extremely sad if that were the case for those with God's precious Word, the Bible, in their hands & received very little. I know it is God's Spirit who helps us & interprets the Word to us but we ought to give diligence to reading from a familiar script.
By the way, you can probably get to read from the NKJV online rather than purchase one (for checking for the differences between the versions). Every blessing.
Thank you for response. I agree with you as well, it is a struggle with our flesh/heart and the only comfort I have is God tells us our flesh and Spirit will battle until we leave this world. The slip ups are so hard on me but Gods grace helps me end my day with his forgiveness and start the next day a new. Hang in there and I will Pray for you :-)
As Adam has stated in another post I cannot see ALL being saved in the end as how many Scriptures there are about people going to eternal damnation or "Hell". Some can't see a loving God be like this to people for say only sinning in the span of their physical life. Though I don't think anyone can perceive how serious sin is to a Perfect, Pure, Almighty God. Also in that it is not the pleasure of God that any should perish. The Lord will not turn away any that truly come to Him. Then on the day of Judgement when the books are opened. People may be shown how many times in their lives God has tried to lead them to Salvation in Jesus Christ and repentance of sins. Maybe just repentance before the Lord came to earth. All up to Him as He is fair.
So here are a couple more Scriptures I find that solidify this. Even at the end of Isaiah 66:23-24. Speaking of all flesh coming to worship Him though just the next verse it speaks of how bad it will be for those who are against Him. Daniel 12:2, Psalms 9:17, 2 Timothy 2:12, Hebrews 6:8, 1 Peter 4:17-19, 2 Peter 3:7. Our names written in Heaven which does not seem to be for all Luke 10:20.
How Jesus Christ spake of a "Hell" and tried to warn people of it a lot. A place of "wailing and gnashing of teeth". Eternal punishment as those who are saved eternal life. The same Greek word used "aionios" for "everlasting or without beginning or end".
The story of Lazarus and there being two places separate from each other after death. Luke 16:20-31.
Weather it be sheol, hades, gehenna, tartarus, or just hell I want nothing to do with any of those places. I believe God loves us so much He sent us these warnings in that we do not have to go there. Though if any reject Him He will not force anyone to be with Him.
A good saying. "If you are born twice(born again in the Spirit) you die once, born once die twice".

That is a great question. I would also like to know the answer to that because I am not sure what the answer is. I know what baptism is and what it represents, but as far as who can do the actual baptism, I hope someone can give an answer to that.
I do know that baptism has been around long before the church came into existence. There are several different rules today on how to conduct baptisms. But in the old days, before the church was in existence, the person being baptized was the only one who went into the water.
The other person performing the baptism did not go into the water. That person was just there as a witness to make sure the person being baptized was fully submerged in the water. Even if a single hair was sticking up out of the water, they would have to do it all over again.
Hopefully, someone can give a little more clarification on whether or not a woman can be a witness!
are "Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob" those fathers or fathers, and Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob?
Romans 10:13 says, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." It doesn't say might be saved, but will be saved. It is God's promise to those who truly call upon the Lord and surrender their life to Him. If you have not done so already, please ask Jesus Christ to come into your life. He will give you His Spirit (Holy Spirit), and His Spirit will lead and guide you into all truth and understanding.

If you want to use the Bible as proof of His existence, then there is a whole lot of evidence. The Jews, even to this day will tell you that He existed and that He was crucified. Since none of us who are alive today were there to actually witness Jesus when He was here in person, we simply have to go by faith. In fact, the word faith (PEITHO) literally means persuasion. A person believes that Jesus is real because they are fully persuaded (Faith) in their mind that He did, (and does) exist. Having faith (PEITHO/Persuasion) requires no evidence or proof of existence. A believer does not need evidence or proof. A believer lives by faith.
It would be the same as asking if George Washington ever existed. None of us were there at that time either, so how do we know?
Isaiah 40
Early part of the chapter is the coming of the Lord and restoration of the Israel of God .
Verse 15 to 24 creation from Gods point of view .
Verse 25 really stands out .
" To whom then will ye liken me , or shall I be equal ? Saith the Holy One .
Verse 31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; ....

To me it reveals how God the father is the source of everything Jesus was given , and Jesus proves the father true by his life . A remarkable testimony and I'm thankful to read this in the Bible .
Most of the warnings Jesus gave was to His Christian followers, about being careful, being on watch, on guard, parables warn of most people going to hell and being prepared, Peter talked about running the race well to the finish to get the 'prize', etc. So, was all that useless talk? If everyone is automatically saved regardless of their actions does that mean all the parables and talk was irrelevant? Or, is it more likely Jesus was right, that your actions do matter, and that maybe some men need to adjust their expectations and begin to fear God like it says so many times: Matthew 10:28.
Most people will go to hell, and Jesus predicted that many will be surprised they're not going in, and cry out 'Lord, Lord'... You can't earn heaven, people are saved by grace, but this assumes you're a Christian- which is a verb that means following Christ and not sinning and being a light to the world through good deeds, because that's what Christians should do. It doesn't mean its impossible to sin, but Christians must avoid sin at all costs! Matthew 5:30 I think many who call themselves Christians will be shocked on judgment day and have deep regret for their actions and not taking Christianity seriously. God bless...
62.11 And the Angels of Punishment will take them so that they may repay them for the wrong that they did to His children and to His chosen ones.
62.12 And they will become a spectacle to the righteous and to His chosen ones; they will rejoice over them, for the anger of the Lord of Spirits will rest upon them, and the sword of the Lord of Spirits will be drunk with them.
62.13 And the righteous and the chosen will be saved on that Day and they will never see the faces of the sinners and the lawless from then on.
62.14 And the Lord of Spirits will remain over them and with that Son of Man they will dwell, and eat, and lie down, and rise up, forever and ever.
62.15 And the righteous and chosen will have risen from the earth, and will have ceased to cast down their faces, and will have put on the Garment of Life.
62.16 And this will be a Garment of Life from the Lord of Spirits; and your garments will not wear out, and your glory will not fail, in front of the Lord of Spirits. Amen.
62.2 And the Lord of Spirits sat on His Throne of Glory, and the spirit of righteousness was poured out on Him, and the word of his mouth kills all the sinners and all the lawless, and they are destroyed in front of Him.
62.3 And on that Day, all the kings and the mighty and the exalted, and those who possess the earth, will stand up and they will see and recognize how He sits on the Throne of His Glory. And the righteous are judged in righteousness, in front of Him, and no idle word is spoken in front of Him.
62.4 And pain will come upon them as upon a woman in labour, for whom giving birth is difficult when her child enters the mouth of the womb, and she has difficulty giving birth.
62.5 And one half of them will look at the other, and they will be terrified, and will cast down their faces, and pain will take hold of them when they see that son of a woman sitting on the throne of His Glory.
62.6 And the mighty kings, and all those who possess the earth, will praise and bless and exalt Him who rules everything that is hidden.
62.7 For from the beginning that Son of Man was hidden, and the Most High kept him in the presence of His power, and revealed Him only to the chosen.
62.8 And the community of the Holy and the chosen will be sown and all the chosen will stand before Him on that day.
62.9 And all the mighty kings, and the exalted, and those who rule the dry ground, will fall down before him, on their faces, and worship; and they will set their hopes on that Son of Man, and will entreat him, and will petition for mercy from him.
