Yes the 7th day is a day of rest. 2 things.

1) The 7th day did not end like the other 6 days. Not sure what that means though but someone else pointed that out to me so it might have some bearing on this,

2) Jesus healed someone on the sabbath, and when the priests got after him for that, what did He say?

So you can work on the sabbath but only if you have to. The Bible never says where day 7 ended so the second creation of man and animals might have been on day 8. Not this is not a argument per say, it's a iron sharpens iron type of thing, And i want to make sure every argument is considered, proven wrong, and move on. Without denominational glasses on. Looking at the Bible with fresh eyes to seek the truth in this by first trying to prove it right.

Why try to prove it right first? Because if it's wrong, you won't be able to prove it right using God's word at all. And then by default you prove it wrong. God cannot speak to us on correction if we already make up our minds on truth and lies. So my goal here is not to prove it right, but to test it to make sure before I discard it.

If we assume because we have been taught something else, then we are not listening to God's Word speak to use through the Holy Spirit. I'm hoping it's not right because of the uphill battle I'll have in several arguments with other creationists. But if it is right, then I accept that and fight that battle.

This topic isn't addressed in the Bible, but I can share my own opinion. I believe anything that hurts a child is wrong. A child growing up without a father is harmful for the child. God designed us to be raised by a man and a woman. The genders are different by design and for a reason. If someone wants to circumvent that because they hate men or feel desperate or just want a child for selfish reasons outside of a marriage, I believe that is morally wrong and a sin. That is my opinion, because I know it creates great hardship on a child being raised in a broken home out of the gate. If a woman wants a child that's not a family, that's a broken home. She must be married to a man first and have kids to be considered a family. God bless.

Shelia, do you believe the words you read in your bible? God condemns same gender sexual relationships. This is not His design. Understand that order and relationship and its purpose were created by God. Sin is simply not following Gods design. Lying, not his design. Stealing, not his design. Murder, not his design. And so it is with relationships, like honor thy father and thy mother. That is his design and will lead to health and stability and peace. Things like homosexuality ect. tend to disorder and unhealthy relationships. God has forgiven our sin but he still wants us to pursue a life worthy of having his spirit dwell in us while we wait for our ultimate home in a new body.

Acts 2:38 is the New Testament salvation. It's for everyone near & far. Jesus spoke this in John 3:3-5 that we can not enter the kingdom of God w/o water & the Spirit. There is blood in that water. Hallelujah

Dear Margie, I would like to expand on what Jesse wrote. It is true that physical healing is not promised to us today because this dispensation is not about Israel or Gods promises to them. Physical healing is a part of the promises of God to Israel and the establishment of the kingdom promised to them. In this dispensation there is neither Jew nor Gentile. Believers are immersed into the body of Christ. God does have mercy with physical healing today but it is not promised. God was still dealing with Israel in early Acts and then slowly withdrew this sign gift as Israel again rejected the witness of the Holy Spirit repeatedly in Acts so that God finally withdrew the sign gifts to them. Thats why you read about physical healing and other sign gifts in Pauls epistles written during the Acts period. As Moses was given Gods revelation for the Jews, Paul was given Gods revelation for believers today. See Eph 3. I hope this helps because without this understanding it is difficult to reason why we are not healed physically all the time. Not our promise. We have something so much better. May God give you understanding.

Jesus will heal your body, sickness, and disease if you ask Him. If you have faith the size of a mustard seed you can tell the mountain to move.

Anything you ask the Father in Jesus's name and don't doubt in your heart, He will do it. We have not because we ask not.

God's Word is True. If you believe that the Lord Jesus Christ rose from the dead, that same faith will heal your physical body.

This response just blessed my heart. Obedience is better than sacrifice. The Lord is not slack when it comes to His Word or His promise. His Word will accomplish that which it is sent forth to do.

Christ's atonement was for our spiritual healing, not physical. This is not to say that God can't heal us physically if He chooses to do so. Christ's sacrificial atonement provided a way for our soul to be healed from sin.

Physical healing was not part of the atonement. The apostle Paul had suffered so many physical ailments. He asked God on more than one occasion to remove these physical ailments and God chose not to do so but instead said "My grace is sufficient for thee."

It is indeed sad to read Deuteronomy 3:26 with Moses feeling cut off from the Lord. All he wanted was to enter the Promised Land which he yearned for but was denied this before his death. And so it is when we enter into a state of wilful disobedience, grieving the Lord, especially when that disobedience is prompted by unrighteous anger & self-elevation ( Numbers 20:7-13).

And then we read Deuteronomy 4:21-31, a part of Moses' final message to the children of Israel. We do read here of Moses' warning to them if they should reject the Lord by serving other gods. That if they did so, God would reject them by scattering them amongst the nations (as happened in the Assyrian & Babylonian captivity and also at the Jewish Diaspora resulting from Roman rule). So yes, this was a prophetical message by Moses, which ultimately Israel did not heed & so suffered terribly. But Moses also rehearsed before the people of God's goodness towards them in bringing them out of bondage in Egypt & into a land that flowed with milk & honey ( Exodus 3:16,17; Deuteronomy 1:6-8), but this generally came with a warning to remain faithful to the Lord.

Is physical healing a part of the atonement as Salvation is a guaranteed part?

Hi Richard, I believe there may be people who have put off the Mercy Seat until a later time in Heaven. Jesus spoke of the Jews, that he would have gathered them now, but they would not. I believe how he spoke then would apply to anyone who puts off His covering and blood bought Mercy Seat until another day. Perhaps by your question that seems to linger, you or someone you know is feeling the pull to know the True High Priest in this present body, which is His temple.

In Revelation 4:6, it says that in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts, (literally, living creatures). These four living creatures were full of eyes behind and in front. These are the same creatures in Ezekiel Chapters 1 and 10. And in those chapters, they are called cherubim. These four living creatures are special angelic beings that God has created.

The whore would be an economical(trade) system. Maybe of the CC. The beast will hate the whore city and remove her citizens and leave the city defenseless. Then the beast will consume her, meaning the city merchandise and destroy the city. Then maybe the beast will then bring in the mark system after the whore is gone away. The whore will cause, maybe by seduction, the kings of the earth to commit fornication before getting whacked.

To redeem means to purchase. We see in Romans 3:24 that those who are saved have been justified by the grace of God through the redemption in Christ Jesus. The word redemption means to purchase a slave out of the marketplace for the purpose of setting him free.

So Jesus purchased us from out of the marketplace of the world, where we were once the slave to sin, and He has set us free. We are now His possession. We belong to Christ. Right now, it is like we are sitting at the "will call" booth waiting for the one who purchased us to come to pick us up. Hopefully, that day will be soon!

Blasphemy is a word that is used to expresses rejection. This would be a person who refuses to gather with Christ in the whole process of the testimony of God's Spirit. If they reject God's Spirit, and His persuasion, and His conviction over their life, they cannot be forgiven for that. A person can be forgiven for everything else.

But if a person rejects the testimony of God's Spirit that is convicting them of their need for Christ, and their need to be saved, if they reject that, there is no forgiveness.

The sin problem has been dealt with. It's been paid for. Jesus Christ died for the sins of the world. So salvation has been paid for. Christ paid the penalty for sin by shedding His blood for the remission of sin. But if a person rejects that salvation, they are rejecting Christ. Salvation is a gift from God. He died for the sins of the whole world. If a person rejects that, they are rejecting the conviction of God's Spirit showing them their need for Christ. That is what it means to blaspheme the Holy Spirit.

Just to add to this subject. As I also see the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Heaven to be one and the same. Knowing also the details Jesse stated. As I was reading I just came across Jesus Christ using both terms coinciding. Matthew 19:23-24.

Hello Richard, Some thoughts. The Mercy Seat was not just above the Law preserved in the Ark but the light of the Gospel by the death and resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ shines through the perfectly thin gold. His blood bought Life is the Mercy Seat and covers, but not darkens the Law which was provided by the Father. It is at this Mercy Seat, how can we know it, how can we know Jesus? We must by Faith have grace to enter in through the veil and place ourselves at the Lord Jesus's feet and repent of our sins and turn away from them by grace in faith, forever. Then we will be common with all who know Him and His forgiveness will blot out our death sentence by the law.

it's sort of sad to read some verses here, such as Deuteronomy 3:26 "the LORD said unto me, Let it suffice thee; speak no more unto me of this matter." when Moses was pleading to Lord to let him into Canaan.

like his forefathers(Abraham, Isaac, Jacob) prophesying/blessing their descendants before death, was verses of Deuteronomy 4:25-30 from Moses that prophesying future of Israelites? was he able to tell something good only?

We were naturally born flesh and blood; but a body of flesh and blood cannot obtain the spiritual world (the likeness of Christ). Christ came in the likeness of us (sinful flesh) to REDEEM (exchange our body of flesh for his body of GLORY or a glorified body).

Romans 8:6 To be carnally minded (unbelief) is DEATH; but to be spiritually minded (believing) is life (you never die you just change bodies; you are glorified with Christ, you are REDEEMED.

My question a few days ago: I have heard some say that when Jesus died and went into Heaven He swiped His hand across the mercy seat as Aaron did with animal blood. Did Jesus present himself before the mercy seat in Heaven because the earthly was a symbol of Heavenly and now shedding His own blood, Jesus is the mercy seat?

Hi Isaac, I agree with your first comment on God's sixth day of creation. However, from there when you wrote "Then on day seven, he (man) is created again", I don't see it that way. Genesis chapter 2 speaks of God resting from all His Work & He blessed & sanctified that seventh day of rest. So there was no further creating, as God had accomplished all His planned creative Work on the six days.

Genesis 2:4 onwards then describes what God had done & how He made man (in Genesis 1:1-31). We're not told how He made man in chapter 1, only that He created man & woman. Then chapter 2 details how this was done, introducing this man Adam (made from dust) & Eve, who was 'take out of man', Adam. This is the way I understand these two chapters.

I know there are other interpretations of this, similar to what you shared. However, I don't see any reference to a second creation of mankind. If this were so, we would have to ask, 'what happened to that other creation, as there is no mention of them?' And if there was another creation, did they also sin as Adam & Eve did, or were they sinless? Could there be some sinless tribe or nation also living among us? It would be strange that the Bible would be very quiet on this other creation. Does Jesus' sacrifice also include them - but then again, they would never know about it, & the apostles were never alerted to this 'fact' by the Lord? Or, maybe when Cain left for the land of Nod, his sinful nature (from his parents) also infected this other creation. The possibilities are endless, but without scriptural support. It's best to stick with what is revealed to us in the Word & just admit ignorance where what we seek is not revealed.
