Who is most likely to trick everyone into assuming Jesus isn't who people say He is: God, or satan? The father of lies is behind so much of the new age and regressive movements we see today trying to manipulate and deceive people into believing falsehoods. I hope you're not part of this group, but I mention it so everyone is on guard for the false prophets who sometimes even post on this website. People should really pray hard and do deep soul searching before trying to slander God in Bible website. The day of judgment is coming. Even those who believe they're saved regardless of their actions will still face judgment before going anywhere. Some will cry out Lord, Lord. Fight the good fight, run the race well to the end. God bless.

They've ve warned you that the radical Left has been trying to weaponize COVID-19 to push their extreme agenda. And churches have been their first target.
The Bible commands us to praise & worship: "Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing!" - Psalm 100:2
The radical Left has literally used the pandemic to forbid you from following this Scripture. It's the most draconian abuse of power in a pandemic. And it's blatantly unconstitutional.
In fact, the Supreme Court recently issued several MAJOR rulings for churches, and we've filed a critical brief at the Supreme Court to stop the SHUTDOWN of churches for good.
JUST HOURS AGO, a state legislature passed a bill we helped draft to ensure that churches are essential and CANNOT BE SHUT DOWN. Earlier this week we served discovery; and TODAY, we are planning to make a critical legal filing in federal court in our MASSIVE lawsuit against the church singing ban.
But as we go head-to-head against a powerful state government (California/Pelosi). and its inexhaustible resources, we need Your signature on the petitions.
Thanks.
Isaiah 5:20
Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
Lets start with Hebrews 6:4-6 with the view you can loose your salvation.
4: For it is ""impossible"" for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
5: And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
6: If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
That sounds like they're saved right? Right.
So if you read that verse carefully with the mind you can loose your salvation "you got one shot at it!!" ( For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened....) ( If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance;...)
You can take this passage and say if you were saved and some how stumbled "a small lie, got angry, ect.." it is impossible to renew you to repentance!! your forever Lost!! Read it again with the view you can loose your salvation.
That does not sound right so now take the passage with the view you cant loose your salvation and say these people was not really saved, "The Calvinist view"
It seems they suffer the same fate! Whether professors or not 'they were once enlightened'.
It is "Impossible" ( for those who were once ""enlightened,"" and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance;...)
The unsaved premise seems to also fails. they also got one shot!
I believe the writer is writing to believers, he addresses them that way in Ch 3:1. "Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling",
I don't think this is talking about salvation at all, it don't say renew them again to salvation, it say repentance. The writer is writing to the Hebrews and urging them to maturity, the burden of the writer is not to return to Judaism. Legalism, them becoming fruitless
No, I have never seen one instance where Jesus sided with men against his Father. Can you explain in further detail?
God Bless
why was Rev 22 15 put in the Bible
Perhaps this is what you are talking about,
John 21:22 (KJV) Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me.
Read the whole chapter.
Here's an example of what Brother Jesse wrote.
Habakkuk 1:1-17. The burden which Habakkuk the prophet did see.
O LORD, how long shall I cry, and thou wilt not hear! even cry out unto thee of violence, and thou wilt not save!
Why dost thou shew me iniquity, and cause me to behold grievance? for spoiling and violence are before me: and there are that raise up strife and contention.
Therefore the law is slacked, and judgment doth never go forth: for the wicked doth compass about the righteous; therefore wrong judgment proceedeth.
Behold ye among the heathen, and regard, and wonder marvellously: for I will work a work in your days, which ye will not believe, though it be told you.
For, lo, I raise up the Chaldeans, that bitter and hasty nation, which shall march through the breadth of the land, to possess the dwellingplaces that are not their's.
They are terrible and dreadful: their judgment and their dignity shall proceed of themselves.
Their horses also are swifter than the leopards, and are more fierce than the evening wolves: and their horsemen shall spread themselves, and their horsemen shall come from far; they shall fly as the eagle that hasteth to eat.
They shall come all for violence: their faces shall sup up as the east wind, and they shall gather the captivity as the sand.
And they shall scoff at the kings, and the princes shall be a scorn unto them: they shall deride every strong hold; for they shall heap dust, and take it.
Then shall his mind change, and he shall pass over, and offend, imputing this his power unto his god.
Art thou not from everlasting, O LORD my God, mine Holy One? we shall not die. O LORD, thou hast ordained them for judgment; and, O mighty God, thou hast established them for correction.
Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity: wherefore lookest thou upon them that deal treacherously, and holdest thy tongue when the wicked devoureth the man that is more righteous than he?
Isaiah 32:12-13. They shall lament for the teats, for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vine.
Upon the land of my people shall come up thorns and briers; yea, upon all the houses of joy in the joyous city:
"PARRELLELS WITH HEBREWS 6:8".
HERE'S THE 2ND
1 Corinthians 3:12-15 (KJV) Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
Verse v29 " The Lord our God is one Lord "
Notice the word "our" glad to be of service . He did not say I'm God . That would be opposite.
To your three questions.
1) Yes. We who are in Christ have been Blessed with the Holy Spirit. After we have been purged from the things of this world through repentance and being taught by the Holy Spirit and the Word of God. We are counted worthy to judge as we are Spiritual and not carnal anymore. Though no man can judge us. 1 Corinthians 2:14-16.
I will add this. In the next verse 1 Corinthians 6:3 where it states "we shall judge angels". It does not say this in the Greek. Going over the Textus Receptus that verse actually comes out to "Know not that angels judge truly things that pertain to this life".
2) Yes. Though we who are in Christ are worthy to judge the things in this world when we become Holy. I do not believe this is the same as the Judgement each of us receive after our physical life ends and we are to stand before God or Christ. Only God can Judge each and every single person because He knows everything about everyone. Knowing what is truly in every single persons heart. As I stated in a previous post I can never say anyone is going to be saved or not. As brother Chris stated "salvation is of the Lord". Then as the verse right after the one you posted states how the righteous shall scarcely be saved. 1 Peter 4:18. Not that all shall be saved.
3) So as I believe God is the only true Judge. As Christ is also on His throne. God's Judgement is of righteousness. Having many synonyms. As our Saviour is Jesus Christ being the only way to the Father. In that we have all fallen short of the Glory of God in our lives. Why God had to send us His Son to be the Perfect sacrifice to pay for our sins once and for all. Not meaning it's ok to sin now. We have a perfect example to follow and that is our Lord. Who lived a perfect life and we should try our best to follow in His footsteps.
As we can plainly see in the world today not all are with God. Also the world is a lot worse than people can see in plain sight.
Do you believe the saints are going to judge the world?
1 Corinthians 6:2
Do you believe that judgement is upon the house of God now; and we are that house?
1 Peter 4:17
If you believe the saints are going to judge the world; what is the judgement of:
Psalms 149:9
Jesus said "That thou art Peter, and upon THIS ROCK I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it". The catholics have sadly missed it for more than 1700 years.
"Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste."
"Whosoever shall fall upon that stone shall be broken; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder."
With all due respect to catholics but the Precious Rock of christians is their Lord Jesus Christ but the rock of the catholics is the rotting carcass of Peter.
Whatever your circumstance was that you were praying for when you reached out to the Lord in prayer, did you ask for His will to be done in that circumstance that you were praying for? God answers prayer according to His will. Prayer is when we take our petitions to the Lord and ask for His will to be done, not ours. If you ask according to His will, that prayer will always be answered. Sometimes we don't see anything happen, and sometimes our situation or circumstance might get worse, but God still answers all prayer if we ask according to His will.
Sometimes our problem is not being able to accept the answer. We praise Him when our circumstances get better, but when we see no change or our circumstance gets worse, we tend to think that God did not hear our prayer, and subsequently we do not thank Him.
Prayer is the means by which we express our total submission to God's will in whatever it is we are asking Him for. He answers those prayers. We just need to accept whatever the answer is and that the answer is His will!
As I can only speak of myself and my experiences after the Lord coming to me. Maybe someone else will have a better reply than I can give on this.
First off when we are saved, or receive the Holy Spirit, this does not mean everything is going to be easy. Especially at first. Again from my own experience right after coming to the Lord, satan began to tempt and trick me into thinking it was ok to keep sinning. Not ever hearing voices before I did not know it was satan. Numerous things were said to me that basically broke my heart as I was praying to God.
What truly helped me to learn that what was being said to me was not from God was that I kept reading the Bible and was lead to answers that showed me this. The Holy Bible is truly our food and it is so vast that the Lord can lead you to many answers of questions. It truly is the living Word of God. So if something is in you telling you to read the Bible I would say definitely do it. Satan does not want us in the Bible because this is where we get our food from the Lord which makes us stronger Spiritually and brings us closer to the Lord.
Now of coarse we are not saved by works and by the Grace of God through Jesus Christ. Though good works are what makes God happy and shows our faith and that we are saved. A new creature that lives for God being pleased to do good whenever possible. As in James 2:17. Read the whole book of James as it is not that long.
Some people may think this is in contrary to what Paul wrote but it is not. We must read the Bible as a whole and not just cleave to one verse. As good works does not mean you have to go out and evangelize, or be a preacher, etc. Maybe read Galatians 5:22-23. Just being kind to someone, helping them, stay meek etc. What ever God puts in your path retain the Lord in your thinking and what would make Him happy.
I hope that helps you a little. God Bless you on your journey.
I agree with what you have been told by others, especially prayer throughout your reading for understanding.
And most important be sure you have gave your life to Christ. Wisdom and understanding is given by the Holyspirit.
Here's a verse that may encourage you.
James 1:5-8 (KJV) If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
This is a great site to visit for help.
God bless.
I agree, the 1st, and 2nd commandments - are the greatest of all. Amen.
As Christians we also can't ignore the other eight.
John 14:21
"He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him."
And love the story of Noah
The bloodline of Jesus, came to Bethlehem through Jacob. Not Esau.
Do you know that God is there when we were in the womb? I believe that Isaiah and Ezekiel were called to be prophets, in their mothers wombs.
Genesis 1:1 shows that God is not constrained by the Creation of Time (in beginning...)
He is the Alpha and the Omega: the beginning of time and, the End of Time.
He's God. He sees everything. He does not violate our free will to choose what we do.
Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love (Jesus).
It means return to your first love when you First met Jesus. Tell him you've grown cold. Tell him you've entertained other loves. Repent to your God for not loving him as he deserves. He stands ready to forgive and restore. Your High Priest will sympathize with you, therefore, "Let us come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need" ( Hebrews 4:16, KJV).
Amazingly, God calls us to return to where we once fell. He does not call us to make up for lost time and be a mile ahead of where we used to be. He calls us back to that fresh fire of love towards him and neighbors. It is a call to action. It is a call to return to the habits of grace. It is a command to keep ourselves in the love of God ( Jude 21).
Genesis 27:30
And it came to pass, as soon as Isaac had made an end of blessing Jacob, and Jacob was yet scarce gone out from the presence of Isaac his father, that Esau his brother came in from his hunting.
Genesis 27:35
And he said, Thy brother came with subtilty (deception), and hath taken away thy blessing.
Genesis 27:36
And he said, Is not he rightly named Jacob? for he hath supplanted me these two times: he took away my birthright; and, behold, now he hath taken away my blessing. And he said, Hast thou not reserved a blessing for me?
Genesis 27:38
And Esau said unto his father, Hast thou but one blessing, my father? bless me, even me also, O my father. And Esau lifted up his voice, and wept.
Genesis 27:41
And ESAU HATED Jacob because of the blessing wherewith his father blessed him: and Esau said in his heart, The days of mourning for my father are at hand; then will I SLAY my brother Jacob.
Comment by Mishael:
Esau gave away his birthright for a bowl of stew.
Just thinking about his stomach...also, it angered God that he did that.
Rachel engineered the taking of the Blessing.
Esau planned to murder Jacob. God saw that.
Later, Esau left the family and married a non-Jewish woman and lived amongst her people.
I read something earlier this year that indicated that his descendants still live outside of Israel. I have no opinion on that, even tho I read a ton of Google following his descendants.
I do not know if modern American culture follows ancient customs of Israel. Perhaps in Jewish communities?
