    Hi John. Today we declare what's written, we have no new prophetic messages to give that's not given in scripture. God gives us his Devine word and the Holyspirit to discern truth.

    In the old testament they used these measures you see in

    Deuteronomy 18:21-22. And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken?

    When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.

    Listen to Moses in Deuteronomy 18:17-18. And the LORD said unto me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken.

    I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.

    That Prophet was Jesus.

    Hebrews 1:1-2. God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake ""IN TIME PAST"" unto the fathers by the prophets,

    Hath ""IN THESE LAST DAYS"" spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

    The way I understood is it was a promise between God and his creation. He will protect us and we will keep his law. To Covet would be the sin the one person was telling you. Watch "The days of Noah, parts 1-4" on Amazon. That will help a lot. It really was a great series. Just keep watching and you'll see. As far as Jacob, I think he only had 1 wife and a 2nd and there is a story to why that was but I'm still studying the Bible as well.

    Thanks Richard

    Scientists base their data, like carbon dating, they set the point of calculation on the oldest thing they could verify the date of the object. Sunlight causes the formation of C-14 in the atmosphere, and radioactive decay takes it out, so the accuracy can be 1000's of years off. Nothing on this earth has been dated for millions of years. Also, they measure the amount of time it takes the light to travel from a star to get to the earth to date millions or billions of years. On day 4 when God placed the great lights the Sun and the moon and the stars it was instantaneous in 1 day.

    Scientists also say the earth was one landmass called Pangaea and over the earth's history of billions of years the mass divided due to the tectonic plates called continental drift. You may not agree but I believe this was done in the days of Peleg. In the Hebrew language, the name "Peleg" means dividing by a "small channel of water" and is also root associated with the meaning of an earthquake. With God, all is possible so I take this verse as literal.

    Genesis 10:25 (KJV)

    And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided;

    Richard, you are right, in Job 41 many commentators say it is a crocodile. If one would read Job 41 you will see this creature is not any creature that's here today. I also agree with you that things we have been taught have created blind spots (scotoma) and unless we clear our minds before we study we will not hear or see the truth, the preconceived ideas in our mind will block what we are reading. As Jesus said, "because they seeing see not" "He that hath ears to hear, let him hear". The number of days and evening and morning throughout the Bible means 24 hours. No part of evolution can be interpreted from scriptures.

    Covenant what does this mean? I had someone tell me that covenant meant that you want what someone else has and that it is a sin? I am reading Genesis and in here it does not say that I am confused on this word and its meaning. Also why does Jacob have childeren with other women and he is married. is that not a sin? Rachel is also Jacob's mother's brother's daughter and Jacob marry's her is that not a sin bc that means they are blood kin? I am so confused on this

    People use bad words for many reasons. Their friends curse, movies and TV shows are littered with foul language, and they think it's cool to do it themselves. Their parents do it, and they think it's ok. Even some Christians have potty mouthes which cause others to think, "Well if she/he curses, it's okay for me to do it too." But using bad words is most def a sin.

    Exodus 20:7; Deuteronomy 5:11 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

    Ephesians 5:4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.

    A scornful person is one who is disrespectful to others. They scoff and sneer jeer at what others say or do.

    Jesus states the following:

    John 14:15

    "If ye love me, keep my commandments."

    John 14:21

    "He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him."

    John 15:10

    "If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

    As a true loving christian, how can we argue with what Jesus states about the commandments? In each of the verses above - Jesus uses the word "Love". Love embraces the 10 Commandments and we as loving Christians should be embracing the commandments with Love!

    God Bless

    Likewise. I especially love the prophets, but no one on this platform discusses the Bibles most prolific seers of the Old Testament. They give me goose bumps, their individual takes on the same events. I like the New Testament too, cause I'm a whole man, not just a half. Best of luck to you in these end times.

    At this reading I am entering my 85th year in May, 2021 and seeing the world a challenge like nothing I've ever experienced.

    Surely the Rapture is eminent

    The USA is in turmoil continually and sin abounds with confusion and challenges at every age.

    If you are not a child of God and know you are bound for heaven make that decision today

    A good couple verses stating that "the law is not for the righteous". To be saved by Jesus Christ does not give us the right to live a life of willful sin as most here know. We are to remove ourselves from the world of sin and cleanse ourselves as the Holy Ghost is our helper. Living for the Will of God and doing what makes Him happy.

    1 Timothy 1:5-10 5 Now the end of the commandment is love out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:

    6 From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling;

    7 Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.

    8 But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully;

    9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,

    10 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;

    When we walk after the Spirit we are not under the law because there is no wrong in producing good fruit. The Lord knows our hearts and if our intentions are pure. He will forgive us if we make a mistake. Be humble.

    God Bless.
