Psalm 51:5, "Behold, I was SHAPEN IN INIQUITY; and in sin did my mother conceive me."

Ephesians 2:3, "Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and WERE BY NATURE the children of wrath, even as others."

In the Psalm, David believes that it was from the womb that iniquity (sin) was what characterized his being. He knew that the sin nature from Adam was passed onto him from that point of conception & it was not from anything he did later in life.

In Ephesians, Paul speaks of "by nature" we were the children of (God's) Wrath. The Greek for this word is 'phusis' which means: nature, inherent nature, origin, birth. Again, we were already condemned to physical death by having that sin nature, but when sin was made alive by our first act of sin, our only hope of salvation & eternal life rested upon God's Mercy upon fallen man.

I tried to think of my very first act of sin as a child, given that most of our memories are now mostly absent. I was about 5 yrs of age, my sister, 2 yrs old. She was given a small chocolate bar from our Mother & I wasn't. I didn't have the time or capacity at that age to consider whether I should choose to react in a sinful way or make a concerted effort to resist sin's temptation. I reacted by grabbing it from her causing her to howl. Why did I do that to her? The sin nature in me manifested itself in the most appropriate & prescribed way & will always do no matter our age, except for our wills & the Spirit's help (if we are believers), to either abstain from it or allow it.

"The Day of The Lord" is not the Rapture.

The Rapture is first for the Church (not to be confused with Catholic). Christ will announce His arrival with a mighty trump. I'm thinking it's going to be loud, and people will see it and watch, but maybe only we see Him and hear. He will come with the clouds and we will go up to meet him. He calls us up. Believers who are alive will be taken to Heaven. He is the Bridegroom and the Church is the Bride so when you see this reference that's our turn. We have the Wedding Feast prepared and it is joyous and we are ready to get out of this horrible place. I am going to be watching from safety, because the horrors that are coming are hard to accept. I'm trying not to be excited for Everyone should be figuring it out because we are speeding up! Does anyone feel it?

The Day of The Lord is when He comes like a thief in the night. Everyone is evil and feeling content and there is peace, peace and then sudden destruction.

My comments about the H.G. The reason Ghost was added is b/c Christ had to die in order for our sins, to be remitted The Holy spirit was given to many ppl but not the HOLY GHOST , The scrip. says that the H.G was not yet given b/c that Christ was not yet Glorfied meaning being multiplied as the stars of heaven that was his glorfication to be multiplied as the stars of heaven i.e that great PROMISE That God made to his son saying i will multiply thy seed as the stars of heaven and God swore by his very self impling that God himself was gonna be multiplied. thats y jesus said to whom the word came ( his seed ) it made them Gods, This great Promise was actually about God himself being multplied as the stars of heaven that y Jesus is saying to to whom the word came his Seed it made them GODS ( THE h.g. ) . Hi Stephen, I didn't find your response till Jan8. When were you given the "choice"? Was it while you were dead or alive? I believe the dead have no choice and the living see no other. He saved me, he died for me, it was true at that instant I first saw, now and forever.

Irresistable grace is the work of quickening unbelivers to life, to recognize the truth/Jesus. Salvation is more than a rational decision of the human will. You can't say to God, "I chose you, therefore, you are obligated to save me." That's not by grace, and makes a substantial difference in the believers perspective on their salvation and behavior. Grace is never conditional, or would you suggest it is?

The confidence in what we believers have, is entirely a personal conviction. That is, while I might believe you do have it, only you know, and I will have to wait to see you in the hereafter.

I believe that God has left the captial. Many have said they have lost faith in God. That is when I tell them the Lord is a gentlemen and will never force Himself on someone. So yes He may have removed us from under his umberall of protection. But we may that choice as a whole. Revelation says we will fae time of trails and great evil. So my suggestion is the keep praying and now pray for next president. Maybe he will get saved. Also remeber this is no suprise to the Lord. He has a plan and we should not go muck it up.

Perhaps, they may have been scared. People are always scared of the unkonown espcially if they do not belong to our Lord.

Read 1 Corinthians 8:8. Righteous before God is not by what you do, but by what you believe. Did Jesus pay for YOUR sins? The law was a schoolmaster to show us we are sinners that need Christ for salvation, not to make us good enough for God to save. Galatians 3:24. People who see a relationship with God through merit, are not only wrong, but also misrepresent what the real relationship looks like.

I believe that the Word of God and the Spirit of God may be the two witnesses spoken of, and that God will use them as he did with John the Baptist- who Jesus said was also Elias, if the disciples would receive it.

The world cannot stand to be condemned for their wicked ways, and they are already seeking to remove God from their memories. They will rejoice when the last Christian dies- as is foretold with the scriptures concerning the Beast, who will cause all who will not receive his mark to be killed.

I believe that the world will rejoice when they no longer have to hear the Word of God preached, and no longer feel the condemnation they feel for their wickedness. I believe that the two witnesses may well be the Word of God and the Spirit through the preaching of the word and the testimony of those who are born again.

And the world will leave the churches standing, and when Christ comes back, and we are changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, fear will fall upon them.

"original sin" is not a Biblical doctrine. We are not born sinners, we are born innocent and choose to sin. There is not one Bible verse that says we are born with a sin nature.
