The matter of finances, particularly financial responsibility, has been one of the many issues that has been the wedge causing much grief, even driven families apart. Trading with goods & later, the introduction of money, has always been a part of our human experience & necessity & is never condemned by Jesus - only in the aspect of where our affections & time are given to ( Luke 18:18-25). I believe that all couples need to discuss this matter, as they would concerning children, property, etc., early on in their marriage, so the groundwork may be laid for an agreed & acceptable manner of dealing with finances.

Some couples believe that separate bank accounts are necessary, what one earns & spends being the responsibility of each one; & this might work especially when agreement cannot be reached otherwise. For my wife & I, all monies that are brought in, are treated as common earnings/savings in joint accounts. We realize that if we save or spend unwisely, then we will suffer together in that decision. However, if one of us is unable to handle money correctly (& there are many lacking wisdom in this area), then the other should have the control. But a lot of this can be sorted out, by first discussing this matter & making clear agreements early on.

And so in the matter of dealing with 'obligatory' & 'optional' expenses, monies need to be set aside for those purposes, so that utility expenses, repayment of loans, food purchases, children's education, the Lord's Work, etc. are not neglected thereby causing greater hardship. As my wife advises others, "not every one has the wherewithal to put steak on the plate each day or afford a Gucci or Louis Vuitton hand bag" - prudence dictates that we spend according to our means. Saving for the future or for the children, is wise, & not a demonstration of a lack of faith in God ( Proverbs 6:6-8). If a spouse can't be trusted to even spend $20, then that problem needs airing & a strict discipline to spending applied for all.

To Paul Collins, Amen brother.Those that ave the truth knows to be a true Christian is to obey the gospel & to know our God. Follow God in all his ways. Yes, pick up your cross & follow him. To have the mind of Christ, to love as he loves. We can not do anything without his help. 2 commands are that we must love him w all of our heart, soul, mind, & strength & love our neighbor as thyself. We can not do this in the flesh. We must have the power of God indwelling in us, the Holy Ghost (Spirit). Acts 1:8 says you will receive power once that the Holy Ghost has come upon you. We must live for God. Without holiness no man shall see the Lord. I want everything God has for me. Prayer is everything. We must be in prayer always.We must do the will of God.

We must always listen for him to speak to us. He will certainly speak to you + it's amazing to hear him in that still small voice. It brings joy to my heart & I tell him so. Live a life unto God. Speak with loving kindness. Do not love the world. "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God". I love God's truth.

Yes, the foundation was laid, and Jesus told them to wait on the Holyspirit and to go out to the world and preach the Gospel, the Holyspirit was given, to the believer, we are sealed by the Holyspirit, the Holyspirit is God and has no birth, He's from everlasting to everlasting. we are Baptisted by the Holyspirit, we didn't birth the Holyspirit, by the time we get to Revelation ch 4 the Church is out of the World. My comments about that Woman in luke 11 : 27 that was praising Mary saying blessed is the womb that bare you and the paps you have sucked which was MARY ,BUT Jesus was refering to another Woman when he said rather blessed are them that hear the WORD and keeps it which is the WORLD that is gonna hear his voice his seed etc and bring forth fruit unto God. This is the day that the Lord has made and I will rejoice and be glad in it. While we do not know the exact date of the birth of Jesus Christ, we do have December 25th set aside as a holiday. History records that more than 2000 years ago, a Man was born contrary to the laws of human life. Unlike the prophets of old, He was the Word. He was beaten, whipped and He died for the world by hanging on a rugged Cross. He never wrote a book, and yet all of the libraries of the world cannot contain the books written about Him. He never traveled 200 miles from the place where He was born, and yet, expanding seven continents--the gospel message has traveled all over the world. He never marshaled an army, and yet no other military leader could ever boast of making the Evil One drop his weapon, turn and run, without even firing a single shot. He walked with Enoch; He wrestled with Jacob, and He pleaded with Lot. Sometimes in the Old Testament, he was a pillar of cloud by day, and a pillar of fire by night. He was even known as the Angel of the Lord. In my understanding, the examples of 'God' in Genesis 2:2, is in the Hebrew, 'Elohim'. This word has a number of meanings & applications, as referring to the true God, or gods, or judges, rulers, etc. Here in Genesis & elsewhere where it's clearly in reference to the God of Heaven, then the word means that God is defined as Almighty, Everlasting & Unchangeable One.

When we look at verse 4, 'LORD God', the Hebrew is 'Yahweh', which defines Him as a Personal, self existent God, the Author of all things, gives expression & effect to His Plans & maintains a relationship with His creatures. So, in using the 'LORD God', or 'Yahweh Elohim', we learn of the fullest expression of Almighty God. Now why the writer has deemed it necessary to use the different Name of God in this context, I cannot tell as there seems to our understanding some inconsistency in their use throughout Scripture.

As far as John chapter 1 & the 'Word of God', here we see that this God ('Theos', a general word for God) has expressed Himself by His Word ('logos', a speech, a Divine utterance) & also by His Spirit (as in Matthew 3:16). So God has always existed & never changed throughout eternity. But at the appointed time ( Romans 5:6), God sent out His Word, giving His Word a body of flesh, for the purpose of bringing God's Message directly to His people (just as the prophets of old did), but this time to do what the Law couldn't do ( Romans 8:3). And that was the giving of the ultimate Gift to man: that God in the flesh (Jesus) would Himself lay down His Life for His people's (& our) redemption.

What should the responsibility of a wife be financially if she works should she be splitting reponsibilties of utilties and such if she works according to the bible should not we save money for emergencies and also save for our childrens inheritance Should spending money be discussed with one another even if its 20 dollars especially if you have a partner who is very free with money

Why does Genesis chapter 2 begin with GOD did then Switch the name to The LORD GOD? Later GOD is referred to as The Word. I'm aware John 1 refers to the WORD and GOD being the same. Why does Genesis 2 change names? Is GOD and Lord God refering different aspects or just interchangable names before Jesus became flesh?

I don't believe there's anything to suggest that it is a 'third world' disease. It might have begun in China, whether in their 'wet' markets or in a lab, but China shouldn't be considered as in the third world bloc even if it's generally placed so. They are a very advanced nation that can be compared to any 'first world' countries. Covid, as with any other epidemic or pandemic in the past, is just another disease that countries have to deal with, & unfortunately, in all cases, its citizens will suffer both in acquiring the disease or having to take extreme preventative measures.

I think we can determine by looking at the description of her, and the series of events concerning her in Ch 12 and prophecies pointing to those events in the bible. "you'll need your bibles". VS 1, the description, "She was clothed with the sun and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of 12 stars". If we go to Genesis 37:9-10. Joseph dreams and Jacob answers this one for us. Now compare the events in prophecy to Revelation 12. VS 2, She's travailing in birth pains, Isaiah 54:1-5. Is 66:7, ( BEFORE SHE TRAVAILED, SHE BROUGHT FORTH; BEFORE HER PAIN CAME, SHE BROUGHT FORTH A MAN CHILD.) Also look at Micah 4:10, and Micah 5:2-4. Revelation 12:14 say she was given 2 wings of a eagle, a phrase the Lord uses throughout the bible concerning Israel, Exodus 19:4' Isaiah 40:27-31. Deuteronomy 32:10-11. Look at Paul concerning the Israelites in Romans 9:5, "Whose are the fathers, and whom as concerning the flesh Christ came. THE WOMAN IS ISRAEL, Not the church.
