Dear Jesus, I ask for you to consider me at this time. You know the problems with the people who live near us. You know the whole situation. I'm reminded of the scriptures: "Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies" ( Psalm 23:5). How true this feels. Dear Jesus, please help me! The enemy keeps trying to strike me with fear about these people. The enemy keeps trying to come around and spit out lies to make me afraid. Lord Jesus! I'm a Christian! I'm an adopted child of yours, so please intervene!

Position guardian angels around our living place and stand guard between us and them. Let thy Holy Ghost be guarding us day and night spiritually from whatever they are doing in their own area. No matter what we hear or see, protect us!

    Please God,

destroy any bondage, strong holds or spirit of fear trying to be built up between us and them: break it in Jesus powerful name.

I pray the Holy blood of Jesus Christ between us and them. I pray for God almighty to intervene and cause resolution.

I proclaim that this place belongs to Jesus Christ [YESHUA] the Biblical Messiah!

I proclaim that I'm a Christian who will be kept safe in Jesus!

Help me to remember that you are the Almighty God, and you are more than capable in keeping us safe spiritually and physically. Strengthen me, that every time they come up in my mind I can stand strong in your name against all lies, anxieties and fears, and quickly forget about the situation, knowing it's in your hands. Wipe these people off of my mind please Jesus, so that I may have the peace in this situation that I know you want me to have. In the Name of Jesus I command all harassing spirits to leave and go into dry hot places. I plead the blood of Jesus over everyone and everything of mine.I choose to have faith, not fear.I choose to have faith that you will do these things for me, help me be patient with your works. In Jesus Christ name I pray

Pray this every day till it stops

    Hebrews 1 v 1 , 2

God spoke his word by the prophets

In the last days God spoke through his Son

Here we can see that Jesus is not the word of God himself .

But the Lord God used the prophets and His Son to speak His word .

    Psalms 40:11, 17

11 Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O LORD: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me.

17 But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God.

Say these out loud David. The angels nearby hasten to hear Gods Word.

Absolutely! From Genesis to the last verse in Revelation, the Bible is about the Savior of the world: Jesus Christ. Alpha and Omega: the first and the last.

"God said: this is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."

    Worship Him and adore Him
  • Hearing the Word of God - In Reply on Matthew 7 - 5 years ago
For myself, I believe that everything Jesus, the Word spoke, (the red scriptures) are directives. Not suggestions.

He was preaching, teaching and demonstrating the Kingdom. We should use the Light that is given to us. His words are meant to change us, from the inside to the outside.

We cannot mix what Jesus says, with what others say that is contrary to Jesus's spoken Word.

You'll want to google what it means to get a Rhema word from the Lord. He's still speaking into the life of the Church; by the Power of the Holy Spirit only. That's why it is important to ask the Holy Spirit for the Gift of discerning the Spirits. 1 Corinthians 12-14. Is it Jesus or a human spirit.

It's important to walk closely with the Holy Spirit now. He is God the Holy Spirit and He is your Helper, Teacher, Comforter, Convicts is of sin, righteousness and the world to come. Lean on Him heavily; He can take it.

When my pastor left his previous large church as assistant pastor, he told us that God told him it was time to move. He had gotten married right before I left.We called him the walking bible. He taught the ministers who now have gone on and started their own church. We learn the teachings of Jesus to the Apostles and baptize in the name of Jesus. I had left the church before they did. When I found out that my pastor had his own church I immediately joined knowing the teachings. The few of us was called the faithfull twelve. A year later the pastor asked me to be a Sunday school teacher because of how the children learned. I would recruit many neighborhood inner city children and taught songs at my house with my children. I always wanted an army of chidren. I wasn't very excite to teach like a job but I obeyed anyway. It was so depressing at times, because all my student were ages 2yrs to 13 years old in one class. Also some were on medicine. Although I continued I had the gift of teaching, singing, encouragemnt, organization all to help build the churh with joy. I was confused when the pastors wife told everyone that she was the pastor whenever he wasn't around. When he would tell me to do one thing, she would catch me down the hall and say do something else. When I tried to do what the pastor says she began to despise me. One time she got me in a room and rolled her neck and told me that she knew that I didn't like women pastors and that I hate her. I cried and told her that I didn't know what she was talking about and asked why was she doing that to me. Anyway a year are more while confused, pastor told me that he wanted to bless me and that the congregation agreed. For such a long time he begins to call me evangelist which slip off of his tongue often. He said that God has let him know due to the work that I do by deffinition. When his wife son repented and joined the church I was treated with such ruddness and pastor began to treat me diferently. It was so evil.

Can you remember the samaritan woman at the well? When she met Jesus and what he said to her? But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. This is the same water you are asking about. The moving water you question is the same water that is in the words of Christ. When you believe these words, you will become that same fountain producing a life filled with anticipation and wonder. Knowing that the one at the well ,who told you whatever you did is the Christ the son of the living God!
  • Chris - In Reply on Matthew 5:31 - 5 years ago
That was a mighty testimony to read, Marisa. I can see that in spite of the fall out of your failed marriage & your rebellion against the Lord, your turning back to Him in great conviction & resolve to follow Him & remain obedient to His Word, is what is uppermost in your heart & the joy of your spirit.

The Lord will bless you & strengthen your spirit & be the Companion you need as you walk hand-in-hand with Him in your earthly journey. Never look back but look forward to the delights that await you from the Throne of God & that you are His cherished possession & made truly fit for the Master's use, anywhere & at anytime. Keep looking "unto Him alone, Who is the Author & Perfecter of your faith".

Jeanette, I'm unsure how you are discerning that your Church is rejecting you. Are they avoiding you or speaking against you? Maybe, you have shared something to the pastor or people that is in conflict with the Church's teaching? Unless, you know the reason for this 'rejection', it would be hard to suggest whether it is God's direction for you to move you away or otherwise.

If however, you are in a Church that is not preaching correctly from the Word, & even after you bringing up the matter with the elders of the Church, you are being shunned or spoken against, then it would be high time for you to leave & seek out a Bible-believing, Christ-centred Fellowship. But unless we have some specifics as to what has taken place at your Church, then we couldn't give you correct advice - it would be advice based on suppositions.
  • Chris - In Reply on Matthew 7 - 5 years ago
Shannon, I'm unsure what you mean by the specific 'verses' for Christ's followers, as all of Scripture is given for our knowledge, instruction & necessary obedience. But if you're thinking of Jesus' special utterances, then when you come across portions, such as in Matthew 5:1,2 "And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him. And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying", then we can understand that Jesus left the public throng ( Matthew 4:25), went to a quieter location with His disciples & gave them some important teaching & lessons they needed to learn as opposed to the discourses to the public or to the Jewish religious leaders.

So your reference to Matthew 7, Jesus actually starts His teaching to His disciples in Matthew 5 & ends it in chapter 7.

The warning in Revelation 22:18,19 is specifically to the prophecies of the Book of the Revelation given to John. However, the warning is relevant in regard to any extra-biblical treatment to any of the other books of the Bible.

It comes to us as a solemn warning that up to this point (i.e. the final revelation in the Bible), Jesus has only given this much news of the Church present & that which is to come upon it & the World. Many attempt to add more to it by way of special revelation, or as supposed prophets coming after the close of this Book. Their prophecies are false & their adherents usually have to reject the Bible in part or whole & cling onto the proclamations of their prophet as the final word 'from God'. We can think of Islam & the cults & a myriad of religions that have given their own versions of the present & future, that ultimately will fail as they are in direct conflict with the revelation from Heaven. These verses truly come to all of us as solemn warnings.

I felt lead to go back to chapter 3 to get a fuller understanding because in 4th chapter verse 1 it said, AND....

I believe this is literal. Women having a desperate need and desire to marry for protection and covenant as it should be. Chapter 3 speaks about the haughtiness of women relying on their seduction and the things that they wear and their beauty that becomes curses. It states that their scalps shall have scabs and become bald. This is truly this day..so many women are wearing weaves wigs, & extensions... and their personalities are being altered, relying on their beauty instead of inner strength from the Most High...

So the day is coming and has come that we will become mournful and lament of our sins and wanting the Covenant that the Most High had given us- A man's love and a woman's faithfulness, as Christ is to the Church. She will find that the woman should be behind her man(NOT Being dominant) but protective because of this day that is surely coming he will be a warrior fighting for his family. and not her beside him less he will become to fight in anger should something happens to her...iIn YAH'S WISDOM he will get her love, support and nurture in the midst of wartime. Many women will find out them being self-sufficient, it is and will not be enough....
  • SUICIDE and SPIRITUAL DEATH - In Reply on Psalms 23 - 5 years ago
If they die in their sins, they will go to hell.

The person is depressed, fearful, tormented in mind and emotions; they do not know if God even cares about them.

No one likes to talk about this. I do. That person is oppressed by demons that are sent, to take that person to hell. Satan is the author of confusion. Depression demons usually have Death in tow. Only a praying Christian can STOP IT. Our prayers can drive out any demon that raises its head To challenge us. You bind that demons works and cast it into outer darkness in Jesus Name! And you ASK GOD to release the angels of heaven to encircle that person with light and peace. Quote psalm 91 and 51. Every day. Don't stop.

Suicide dot Org is for military but it's easily remembered; to go to to find resources.

Me: write the persons name on sticky notes and give them to praying grandmothers at several churches. Praying grandmoms look like big ole drill sergeants, spiritually. Never disdain elderly church mothers. Hug them!

They know how to release some fire from heaven. Praise God!

Since it is not addressed much in Church; Google search: 'suicide Bible'. Find a Christian church that has this teaching. No frills, no personalities: just Bible. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you!!!

Note to all Churches and Pastors: TEACH people that the devil doesn't wear a red costume and say Boo. He hates God and especially people whom God loves. Even people with both arms covered in need marks! TEACH spiritual warfare! Even churched kids get in trouble and need a prayer that could knock asteroids off course.

Put away your notebook of old trusty sermons, and get hooked into the Holy Spirit who delivers fresh manna and Meat, every meal. Skip some meals and go sit in an actual closet with the Holy Spirit. Ask for NEW FOOD. Pray for your sheep! Even those out wandering off into Apostacy! Ask for fresh Anointing. Groan till you get it.

Stand up for Jesus. Kick in Satans teeth.

    Matthew 13:23

But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

Keeping to your question about tithing: Jesus told us to give cheerfully, not grudgingly.

Tithing establishes TRUST between you and God. You trust Him, and HE takes care of your needs. He is faithful that Promised.

As your faith grows beyond 10 percent and you give above that; the scripture above shows that you receive greater reward for being faithful.

Offerings are above the tithe. These are you blessing God back for the blessings you have received and you desire now, to bless Gods people. It doesn't have to be to your Church. I give to ministries that go to all the world; feed and help people who are going through disasters...and need everything. It makes me so happy to read the praise reports that come back to me.

Offerings build churches, buy Bibles, help the oppressed in other countries etc.

What is on your heart that you wish you could help in some way?

Then discuss this with your Heavenly Father, ABBA. And see if you get the green light in Your spirit.

This is your bag of seed that blesses the whole world. Happy you will be!

We can't outgive God. He desires to bless His kids. But if we draw back and think greedy; the only person who suffers is us. We will not experience that blessing that God wants to pour out on us.

DONT think small. Think Big like your Daddy, ABBA.

If you see a neighbor who has the same old, ragged 50yr old sweater on; present them with a brand new sweater, in Jesus Name.

See what happens in the heart: yours and theirs. Miracles do happen.

All the Disciples saw the same events simultaneously, and wrote of it from their point of view; with their differing backgrounds, occupations, all those things that make us individuals. Apostle Paul too.

That's why they are sometimes called The Harmony of the Gospels. That's what makes them so relevant and in agreement. We are able to witness what New Testament Church is supposed to be like. This the Church Jesus went to the Cross for. From one group of 12, to the whole world!

Let us remember that when we feel all alone, picking up our cross every day. We are many!!!

    Wesley's Notes for Revelation 2:19

2:19 I know thy love - How different a character is this from that of the angel of the church at Ephesus! The latter could not bear the wicked, and hated the works of the Nicolaitans; but had left his first love and first works. The former retained his first love, and had more and more works, but did bear the wicked, did not withstand them with becoming vehemence. Mixed characters both; yet the latter, not the former, is reproved for his fall, and commanded to repent. And faith, and thy service, and patience - Love is shown, exercised, and improved by serving God and our neighbour; so is faith by patience and good works.

People's Bible Notes for Revelation 2:19

Re 2:19 The last [to be] greater than the first. "That thy last works are more than the first" (Revised Version). Instead of retrograding, their works grew more excellent.

I am happy that the people who were foretold of at the end of the Book of Daniel are rising up. The Book was shut up, but now it is speaking to hearts.

We have to preach it to people who have grown up with a herd mentality. Perhaps like the swine that ran over a cliff and were drowned (as witnessed of Jesus).

We have to preach it the way Jesus would have it. It's one thing to sit on the mountaintop and See these things revealed. It's another to go down amongst the people and make it plain to them.

There are people who have already sworn allegiance to Antichrist. They may think they will get fame and glory; Antichrist is Not a team player.

Book of Daniel: some things are past; but other things are rapidly appearing. We are living in a time when things are HAPPENING in the world/the news, but it is barely being reported to the public. It is given to us to sit in the watch tower, see it, and report it to the those who will carry it: pastors, teachers, prophets, evangelist's, that will rapidly alert the sea of people who will hear it.

I'm talking about people who are set on going with Jesus when he returns. HOW do you stir people to stand up and follow Jesus, the King? YOU LIFT UP THE STANDARD! You walk forward.

Those who can see, need to herald it.

    Jesus is returning soon.

The signs in Matthew 24 are marching forward with purpose, speed.

Heralding is NO more important as those with feet, or no feet! that publish it to those who are going over a cliff.

Evangelism is the Bible with feet. The intercessors, guide those feet. Is anybody organizing the prayer warriors? Do we really understand what Spiritual Warfare is?

Jesus sits at the right Hand of God, this very minute making Intercession for ALL SAINTS.

Let us do what we know to do. Watch, pray, GO; keep the wedding dress and oil in a backpack. Obey God and obey the law. No zealots needed. Be wise, be in order. Go.

Baptism is now done of the spirit. "For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit."

1 Corinthians 12:13 KJB "And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning. Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost."

  • Marisa on Matthew 5:31 - 5 years ago
In today's world things can be very confusing the world says one thing but God's word is unchanging its the same yesterday today and tomorrow and he gave us his word to bring us into a place of truth and understanding for all scripture is useful for teaching training and admonishing in righteousness he does not give us a spirit of confusion but of power love and a sound mind. We need to stay close to his WORD and he'll reveal his truth to our very specific individual circumstances.Do not follow after the pattern of this world. Remember Satan's position is, he is a liar and a thief and he has come to steal and destroy. Remember you have a real enemy out there, and it is not your spouse, because it's not against flesh and blood that we fight.

My own personal testimony , I walked in rebellion for 10 years I separated from my husband legally but I lived the lifestyle that was completely about everything that was about this world. I was in complete rebellion against God and his word and his ways. I came to the end of myself I was like the prodigal son. I had to come to the end of myself I thank God ,my Lord that he brought me to the end of myself With a lot of pain a lot of rejection a lot of separation from people that I loved.

The word of the Lord says confess your sins to one another, as you can approach the throne of God freely without judgement. And so I did just that, I was a very broken woman.

For God will not always hide himself from us or hold his anger against us as we deserve.

He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins. After 10 years I searched my heart and found myself not having any affections for my husband. So instead we stayed friends. And I made my choice to remain single. Not divorcing because God hates devorce. And I keep myself to do Gods work and not look to the flesh. It was very hard at first because of loneliness but The Lord has given me the strength. And although I feel temptations, his Spirit has kept me strong.

What is God's stance on cremation? If a person decides to be cremated after dying, does it have any impact on their opportunity to spend eternity in Heaven with God?
