    Chapter 11

6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.

This scripture came to me close to midnight as I was casting my care upon God and relating how it seemed like the odds were against us regarding a particular situation; a situation that he knows all about.

In that moment I asked him to help me to live upright ( whatever it means, whatever it takes).

In a perfect world this would be true. In 1964, Courts ruled to toss the Bible out of schools. (By one old athiest woman)

Before the Church woke up, it was law.

Everyone was distracted by advances in the Space program. Cuban missile crisis and the race crisis. I graduated high school when they were trying to burn down Washington DC.

Evil prospers when good people do nothing. A lot of people don't know the Laws of God. It's up to people to find political support to rescind those laws. People can have abortion rescinded this year IF. They would vote for candidates that are against abortion. But they choose to vote blue, red, or for nobody. It's in Isaiah.

The Free Love generation threw off all restraints and ushered in hedonism to the 10th power.

This is what we have to work with. You can be the John the Baptist of the 2020's, but "they" will just UNFRIEND you.

Or you can preach on here, facebook, Twitter, or on the sidewalks of your city-

Like Jesus did. One person at a time, or at gatherings.

People are accountable for what they know and do once they receive Christ as Savior. Some people get "saved" and continue to live sinful because of Churches who preach a watered down version of the Bible. The Nicolaitans preach that message (book of Revelation). The greater sin is on Churches who DO NOT preach the New Testament.

Jesus gave us 2 new Commandments. If we do those, we will not violate the 10.

The advantages of being virgins before marriage, is the the female hymen which prevents sexual disease and pregnancy, hopefully.

Hardly anyone knows what the word CHASTITY means; or teaches it. The greater sin is on the Church. Churches are the only possible restraint against a "No restraint society."

You teach it. It's in your heart to care about it. Preach against sowing wild oats and hoping for crop failure. Allowing "crops" to be raked out and sold by Planned Parenthood", for laboratory experiments.

    Come Lord Jesus! Mishael

The sabboth is Saturday. The Jews still worship on this day. Jesus rose on the first day of the week. ( the Lords day.) Sunday. This is why Christians worship on this day.

No changes in the bible. If so you would have to believe that satan has more power than God.

Never said Lion and lamb. Always was and always will be Wolf and Lamb. You must have seen the famous picture of a famous artist that painted a picture of a lion and a lamb. But in the bible it was always will be a wolf and a lamb.

How true that scripture in Timothy! I love all of you who comment. May God bless you, my brothers and sisters in Christ.

I only wish I could go back to my childhood and stay faithful. I so regret my backsliding days.

The Remnant, also called the 144,000, the elect or a part of the chosen. They are from the twelve tribes of Israel but scattered abroad among all nations. The 'women' term mentioned in Revelation 14:3 is the symbolic term for the church such as 'the women'. The church part is proven in Revelation 12:17. The 'virgins' term in Revelation 14:3 is from the Parable of the Foolish Virgins in Matthew Chapter 25 meaning they are bridesmaids not physical virgins and in summary are meant to be 'undefiled by church'.

    Hello John,

The answer to your question is "no". I've heard some "pastors" say that "the only way you know you have the Holy Spirit is if you can speak in tongues". This is not true. 1 Corinthians chapters 12-14 go over the one body of Christ and many of the diverse gifts of the Holy Spirit. How they are unique to all. Set upon everyone to His will.

From my own experience the most important thing is giving your life to Jesus Christ compassionately. Trust in the Lord. To take up you cross and follow Him with all your heart. Our Father knows our hearts and when we are ready to receive the Holy Spirit in the name of Christ.

    God Bless you brother.

    Being Alone and Isolated

Satans best tool against anybody, saved or unsaved, is ISOLATION. You are vulnerable because of it.

The Humility of Jesus is shown in how he cared for people who came to Him for help. It was spiritual and practical.

There are many, many ministries who could use an extra pair of hands, and a friendly smile.

You aren't going to have a husband ring the doorbell. You need to make some calls; call your church for advise. Be VISABLE. Try to break out of solitude, doing one of these following ministries:

    Feeding ministries (packing or distributing

    Benevolence (Clothing,toys,shoes)

    Collecting coats for Kids

Helping with blue or brown Santa

Writing out Holiday greeting cards for shut-in's or elderly

Your local civic organizations (paint scenery for Christmas plays, find costumes, etc

    Help Habitat for Humanity

A Christian man may be out in the midst of all that: being his kind and caring self. As long as you're isolated you will not be in range of meeting. (Mission accomplished by Satans crummy helpers.) Conversation in public only.

If your church doesn't do these kind of things; find a church with a big singles ministry. No rule says you can't visit other singles ministries and attend your regular church.

    John 10:10

"The thief (satan) cometh not, but for to steal (your joy and peace), and to kill (your faith that God loves you), and to destroy (you! Piece by piece). I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly (Jesus)."

You have to fight back like a warrior, Ephesians 6.

    Amos 3:3

Can two walk together, except they be agreed? {Pray to receive a life partner, or spouse.}. This doesn't work unless you feed your faith. Have an inner attitude of praise and worship towards God. Participate in life outside of your house.

Refuse violently when demons of doubt come to shred your faith. Eph.6

You need to print this out or copy. Tape it to the back of your closet door.

Wait, I say, on the Lord. In anything we do as Christians we have to wait on the lord. Let God be your guide, by taking your hand leading you to the path of righteousness. Only the Lord can sustain to walk in the way he would have you to go. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and your might, lean not into your on understanding but trust him, the will not led you astray. Comments on psalms 27

Thank you Claire for your kind words and prayers. I believe that the Holy Spirit is dealing with you about the things that you have mentioned concerning the congregation that you are a part of.

I encourage you to take heed and do not ignore what's in your spirit. There is definitely something wrong. The enemy always tries to make us feel that we are the ones who are in error. Please continue to pray and read the Word of God for yourself, and whatever you do not understand allow the Holy Spirit to teach you. I know without a shadow of doubt, by what you have shared that you are in the wrong place as it pertains to where you fellowship. I am praying that the Lord will bring you out and lead you to the right place, where you will be fed the Word of God. Depend on the Holy Spirit and not man.

Joseph was married to Mary but had NOTHING to do with the birth of Jesus. Joseph and Mary had no sex until after Jesus was born. God was Jesus's Father. The Holy Spirit of God inpegnated Mary. A virgin shall be with child.

    Great post brother!

2 Peter 3:9 "The Lord is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance".

Our prayers are very important and powerful! "Pray without ceasing!"
  • Richard in Christ - In Reply on Isaiah 11 - 5 years ago
As Chris stated where did you read this? From what Bible? It has been proven that even in the Dead Sea Scrolls from the Museum in Israel that it is "wolf". The KJV is the best version of the Holy Bible we have. Yes, as through the years many things in the "newer" versions of the Bible have been changed or removed. Today we have the ability to check through the whole Bible, Hebrew or Greek, to see the original words used. Even though it was not even a KJV Bible that lead me to Jesus Christ. It was a NAS Bible. Still good enough to bring me to the Lord. Now I have a KJV which is the best.

Looking a little into this. Do you know the song those "lyrics" were in that came out in 1937? Then became the most popular by Elvis and so on into society.

In the same verse, Isaiah 11:6, it does say "the young lion and the fatling together". The next verse "the lion shall eat straw like the ox". A wolf has always been known to be the predator of sheep.

Please don't take this as an argument. I only want to help. Calling others "blinded" because of this is false.

God Bless you. Have a wonderful day my brothers and sisters!
