What are the names of the Greek Gods in the KJV of the Bible?

I would first say that within Theological circles, Matthew is believed to be the first evangelist to author the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I might add, what better way to begin the Doctor of Ministry Program than with the first of the Synoptic Gospels. At the outset of Matthew's Gospel, he incorporates 14 generations, from Abraham to David the King, to Jesus. This same lineage establishes Jesus as the King of the Jews. I contend that Matthew's Gospel was written specifically for a Jewish audience as gentiles are not mentioned. Prophesy had foretold the coming of a virgin, which would birth a child. Jews were subject to the Mosaic Law. According to Mosaic, having Sex out of wedlock was just cause to be stoned to death. Joseph wanted to avoid public notoriety regarding his wife Mary, as they had not consummated their matrimony; yet she was pregnant. Mary's dilemma caused Joseph to contemplate putting her away privately. The term to put away speaks to divorce and possibly death, as infidelity was cause for death, according to Mosaic Law. The Angel of the Lord intervenes by way of a dream and informs Joseph that the unborn child was the gift of God. I might add that within Scripture when there is a reference to the Angel of the Lord, they are speaking of God Almighty. The Angel of the Lord instructs Joseph to name the child, Emmanuel.

The day my son was born was 6-27-77. My birthday that year was 7-7-77. I was 27.

It's just kind of a big thumbs up from God; that he's here; he's involved in our lives.

Try to think about life and what does God have in store for your life? No matter what we go through; He's there with us. He has plans for us. It's up to us to discover what's next.

A lot of us have a story like yours. Both my parents ; and 2 younger brothers from drugs. An adopted brother that found his birth family, then abandoned ours. You feel the sadness will never end. We have these testimonies to help and comfort others who are going through that same valley now.

I know your grief is still fresh; your heart still freshly wounded.

I pray the Holy Spirit would comfort you and let you see that your family is happy where they are.

God says in his Word, all souls are Mine. They are with Him.

People laugh at me because I watch movies. TV not so much. Someone gave me The Shack movie and I was able to get all that pain I was holding in; out.

We've been through this with you. Sometimes the Law works to grind down those painful edges. God is not afflicting you. If you surrender your testimony (that you've lived), he will bring people your way that need to hear how you got through it.

Recently in the prayer request room I met a woman who had lost her mother. She hasn't been able to smile or go places. She feels like a prisoner in an empty house. I told her what I finally did (for me).

I confessed to the Lord I was lonely. Please send me some new Christian friends? I went to church and Joined the singles group, my age. I met others who were on the same life path. It was nice just to share and listen. To laugh again; to cry with others. Have others to go bowling with.

I started to eat better and to sleep without crying first. I looked up in the sky one night and felt like God was there too. I knew from scripture that Jesus is seated at God's right hand, making intercession for all saints (me too).

I experienced that enveloping love and care. I didn't think I had anymore tears, but I found some. Love heals us. God is Love.

Don't believe The Accuser's (satan) lies that God is evil or mean. That's satans personality. He hates God and everyone that God loves.

Just keep your eyes on Jesus. He took your pain.

It's ok to do it on your own. take the narrow road, I've been kicked out of churches for speaking up and asking many qustion's, Because I saw the church controdicting the bible with there doctrine? they couldn't answer. Hiya Bill nice to hear from you. let me explain that HEBREWS 1 tells us that Christ is indeed God the son,But unto the Son he says thy throne O GOD IS FOREVER and ever so we see that GOD WAS MULTIPLIED when MARY Gave birth,Jesus was the living WORD made flesh and blood and the living word is God as John 1 says, so Christ was the multiplication of God in MARY But he wants to be multiplied in all Men via his seed the Word.That was the great Promise i will multiply thy seed as the stars of heaven thus the multilication of very God in humanity via the seed of CHRIST THE LIVING WORD,tHATS Y JESUS REFERS TO THE H.G. as the PROMISE, WHICH IS SPIRIT, And that which is born of the spirit is spirit as God is spirit. Hello, I believe the answer to your first question is 'yes.' Link - The answer to your second question is 'no' in my opinion. If you did nothing wrong and were betrayed, you don't need to apologize for your actions if you did nothing wrong. Forgiveness is different than apologizing for ones bad behavior. Forgiveness is mostly an action within your own heart- to release anger bitterness resentment vengeance and all the toxic feelings someone may carry when wronged. It does you no good and its against God's scripture. Forgiveness can be either in person or not. If the person may put you at physical risk of harm, then in person is not a healthy option. There are other ways to communicate if needed. You can also forgive without communicating. Many people find it helpful to write a letter expressing all your injustices toward the person then symbolically burning it and forgiving them and wiping it clean from your heart and thoughts. This process is in a way like Jesus dying for you and forgiving your sins. God bless!

I believe what the Bible says and if you do then no one is free from sin. I try very very hard not to sin and what I do is say the Ten Commandments one by one and try and judge myself from that, one by one and talk about each one to myself. I will never every add to or take away from anything the Bible says. If I do not know for sure I say so. I do know that from doing this I am getting better and better at doing my best not to sin. I love Jesus Christ with all of my heart and I am a very firm believer. It is so easy for me to believe that God created the Heavens and the Earth and everything in it. Just look at the Sun, burns at the perfect temp. to keep us alive and never has run out of fuel so how many things do you know that burn and never burn out. The earth is a perfect world to keep us alive and just look at the millions of different living things on this earth. My friends the heavens and the earth did not evolve it was created by God. Amen

It is the only pain when facing death. The pain that loved ones suffer in your leaving. This is the sorrow that breaks the heart. They do not know. They have not seen. They are still to taste and see that the Lord is Good. Our Lord comes like a the in the night....NOW! We are being entered into His Kingdom at His good pleasure. There is nothing too hard for our God. If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive our sin and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. It is unbelief that causes us to err. 2nd part: some I may have to re-address as I was interrupted in thought.

See Hebrews ch 7 and 9 where it is discussing the old testament versus the new testament. Not so much 2 Bible segments but the old animal sacrifice vs. the new provided by Jesus' death on the cross. The old could not save from sin as they had to sacrifice for sin yearly. Jesus paid the sin sacrifice so we will be free from sin through Him.

He. 7:22 "By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament." How was/is it better? His blood atones for sin and breaks its power so we do not continue in sin. Would Jesus command man Jn. 5:14 or woman Jn. 8:11 to go and sin no more if we could not do so? With Jesus, we can be saved from sin, His blood sacrifice on the cross gave us power over sin to cease the sinning that corrupts the heart and defiles the soul.

A part of my testimony is I am saved from sin. I had to be saved from sins I used to do. I have done so through repentance so that I am justified or saved. This took care of sins I did in my past. I also needed my heart cleansed from the inherited sin from Adam. This is sanctification. It is only given to those already free from sin via salvation. It includes having God remove the carnal nature from the heart and filling that space with His Holy Spirit. It doesn't make one speak in tongues as Pentecostals do. Salvation and sanctification are 2 fully separate steps at an altar in the Church building. See 2 Co. 5:17 my old sinful self is dead and I am a new person in Christ after salvation, even more so after sanctification.

I can re-address later as needed. And I'm sure I didn't cover all questions. I will revisit in near future as I do want you to see where I am spiritually, without sin in the present or future, as after salvation I have not sinned. I do not claim I never sinned, just that I do not sin after God saved me. It is not me or my power, it is God's that gives grace and power to not do what I used to.

This Psalm reminds me that my God loves me so much that He has put a hedge of divine protection around me so that Satan and his demons don't stand a chance at harming me. He even extends His Grace and mercy towards my entire household....Noe who wouldn't serve aGod like that?!!!!

Chris, Yes the Exodus 2 reference was a typo. It should have been Luke 22.

Referring back to Paul's testimony in Romans 7, admitted it does seem odd or confusing, but I recall that he wrote it in the historical present tense. He could not have had that wretched man type of experience and tell us in 1 Co. 15:34 "Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame." Take Ro 6th and 8th Chapters along with the 7th. Ro. 6:1 asks if we should continue in sin that grace may abound, answer in vs. 2 God forbid or No we cannot continue sin under His saving grace. Romans Ch 8 begins with Paul stating no condemnation to them that are in Christ. A saved from sin experience matches no condemnation, a sinful life cannot.

Romans 5:12 is just part of the thought Paul was conveying. Another part further on, vs. 18, 19 "Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous." The first man is Adam in the beginning. His sin caused all mankind to be born with a sin nature in their heart. The second man mentioned is Jesus, His righteousness is the free gift of justification to those that ask for it through repentance. Vs. 19 tells us that all were made sinners by Adam's transgression, but if we get saved in Jesus, we will be made righteous. Being righteous cannot be mixed with a sinful life.

Think on this, why did Jesus come to Earth as He did? He did so to leave us the example to live by, and to sacrifice His own life on the cross, to be our sacrificial Lamb required to save us from sin. Think OT animal sacrifices. They did this yearly to atone for sins committed. It didn't make them free from sin, but only appeased God's law. Jesus, as The Lamb, a sacrifice died to atone for our sin, to save us from..

Chris you could be right but my quest all my life has been to try and know more about the Lord. I see my life as being similar to the fortress called Masada which fell in the 1st century. History isn't real clear as to what year it fell but I believe Jesus predicted that the Romans were the conquerors that would bring it down. When I read Deut. I see myself as Israel and I take instruction from God when he speaks to Israel. Its more fun that way and I have found it to be RIGHT !! One thing I know for sure is that God can be EVIL. If you just study Jesus sometimes you forget that God can do evil things. But God can be extremely loving and kind also. I have found this thru studying the lord. He told me that he was going to remove my mom and dad which he did, but watching my mom die was hideous. I felt like Moses begging God to restrain himself from killing the first born of Egypt. She died from colon cancer and it took 5 years. She was not a Bible or religious enthusiast like me. I guess I am like a dog that has UNCONDITIONAL love for its master, and very respectful. I never make the mistake of forgetting or being disrespectful of GOD. If the lord has a problem with what I have just written I apologize but these are part of the statutes and judgements of the LORD THY GOD !!

Everything is still this morning. Darkness all around. I have my coffee l look around. A homeless in front --no shirt not much. My wallet shows 1.00 only. l watch before l go in Chevron. Coffee l want. I give him my dollar. He blessed me when l did. He was a Christian-- He never forgets.. I got him a roll cause all l had was my card. I watch others especially around Starbucks. Well to do....but no heart for helping others. Shame...God is close to coming. What will you say? Watching others am seeing how cold this world has became. Hearts waxing colder and colder. What can l say. The world does not matter to me now. Always looked for others with kindness in their heart. Years past l never saw many stop. Now in our last days only gotten worse. Oh what will Jesus say? He suffered so for our Sins. Why should He suffer more. I sit here in quietness wondering when some Love will show. Maybe this world won't be so slow.

I begin to write to see if I can find Christ and If I can find our father, for I can't begin to know anything other then that Christ

was crucified and that we deserve nothing but the punishment of Hell for our sins. And in the worst of our sins, the man that is broken before the lord,

and begs for forgiveness and wishing to turn away from his filthiness has been saved from God with his Glory, and God does not love or forgive us

because we deserve it, or that it is a payment due, but he does it out of his Glory alone. Bringing forth how dependent anything we hope to achieve is in

his will, and his will alone.

My heart is broken with how stupid I am, and my heart is broken with the sins that I have committed in either action or in thought. Where I thought my thoughts

were whole and justified, just how muddy and deceptive they were. When my mind is on Jesus, his words, and his actions, and my lacking's there is a great

sadness that I wish to escape, but by his grace I am saved. For the glory of God let these words go somewhere, and if they do I will not be silent of my writings.

Men's wisdom lacks, because men think they are the center of it all for their consciousness. The carnal wise man does not begin to understand the price that Jesus paid.

The pain he went through, the wrath of God and the glory of him forgiving the wicked that are on the rock. But let it be known that Jesus said "And whosoever

shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder." No 5 minute confession and a swift decisive prayer is

a breaking one's self upon that rock, and our wicked existence without God disciplining our disobedience takes no effort. But the brick that the builders rejected,

Jesus Christ, that is the stone one must fall upon by his grace and glory, his words, his very deliverance by wisdom no heart had lived and uttered in perfection.
