Chris, Book of Enoch worth taking a look at.

The 7th day Sabbath that I try to follow generally concerns 1) No servile work 2) not buying or selling / 3) resting 4) doing good works 5) honoring God.

3 and 4 I try to do every day.

I realize that I could be totally wrong about all of this. I don't think that God will fault me for trying though?

I am in the favorable position of being able to adjust for the (generally) yearly shift of the 7th day due to the Gregorian calendar.

Just as our birth day shifts every year, why would people think that the 7th day or the 1st day or whatever day they

    follow would not change also?

More information concerning the Book of Enoch:

    Paraphrased from Wikipedia:

The Book of Enoch covers topics on the solar priestly calendar, origins of demons and giants, why some angels fell from heaven, an explanation of why the Great Flood was morally necessary, and the thousand-year reign of the Messiah.

The Book of Jude speaks of these fallen angels and Enoch is mentioned as having prophesied against them ( Jude 1: 14-15).

Various Aramaic fragments found in the Dead Sea Scrolls, as well as Koine Greek and Latin fragments, were proof that The Book of Enoch was known by Jews and early Christians.

This book was also quoted by some 1st and 2nd century authors as in the Testaments of the Twelve Patriarchs.

Judaism- Although evidently widely known during the development of the Hebrew Bible canon, Enoch was excluded from both the formal canon of the Tanakh and the typical canon of the Septuagint and therefore, also from the writings known today as the Deuterocanon.

    One possible reason for Jewish rejection of the book might be the textual nature of several early sections of the book that make use of material from the Torah;

Thank you for your thought. Worldly politics will have no effect on the Lord of the Harvest's return. The Lord's return will be sudden while some virgins are securing their oil supplies.

Curiosone, from the face of the serpent means from the srepents wrath You are not understanding what you are reading.

You are taking scriptures and twisting them around.

I do not argue God's word.

    Therefore I can't explain anymore.

Mexxy, the "trump" that you're speaking of is not a trumpet, it's a warning of some kind and whether we hear or not, everyone that believes in Jesus Christ and repents for their sins won't be left of the earth during the tribulation. Also, in 2 Thessalonians 2:7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. - That is in reference to when the Holy Spirit is no longer on the earth and after that happens the anti-Christ will be revealed which is stated in 2 Thessalonians 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

These psalms are sometimes categorized as "enthronement psalms" because of their focus on God's eternal kingship. One popular theory about their origins is that they were recited in the Jerusalem temple during a New Year festival that revolved around the celebration of God's enthronement. If the theory is right, Psalm 95 was part of a grand celebration of God's universal sovereignty with the implicit claim that God was superior to all other deities. This theory, however compelling it may be, is not as certain as the role of Psalm 95 in the book of Psalms.

What mankind has to understand is this world was created by God and not by man. Removing the name of God from congress is a big mistake. Mankind will never learn till the end. I recommend reading the entire book of Revelation as well as psalms.

I have heard pre tribulation, mid tribulation, and post tribulation thoughts on the the matter. That is one hill I will not die on. I do not care one way or the other about when the Lord is coming. That is His decision. I am ready to go at any given time as all Christians should be. It is an interesting topic, but we are told that the Lord would come like a thief in the night. So be ready to go in a split second. We will be going HOME!

Ok, So the serpent (the Anti-Christ), nourishes (supports as you have said) Israel? Does that make sense? No. Or does it? Hmmm. Is America, the one that helps Israel, actually "Anti-Christ? Another thing, the woman is Israel, yes, but all 12 tribes as indicated by the 12 stars in verse 1 of this chapter. It says at the end of verse 14 that the woman is nourished from the serpent for a time, this is clear. I have a dog, and I nourish him daily from the food I give him I put in his bowel or from my table. Where do you get Anti-Christ from for that is no where in this chapter.

Yes study prophecy - Exodus 19:5 - Now therefore, IF IF IF ye (Jews) will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:

Jeremiah 11:10 - They are turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers, which refused to hear my words; and they went after other gods to serve them: the house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken my covenant which I made with their fathers.

Leviticus 18:5 - Ye shall therefore keep my statutes, and my judgments: which IF IF IF a man do, he shall live in them: I am the LORD. Thing is the Jews did not keep the covenant and did you know God DIVORCED ISRAEL....

    Hmmm. most do not know.

Jeremiah 3:8 - And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of DIVORCE divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.

Jeremiah 5:11 - For the house of Israel and the house of Judah have dealt very treacherously against me, saith the LORD.

Question: Who does the Bible alone say KILLED JESUS

A: 1 Thessalonians 2:14 -15 ...even as they have of the Jews: Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, ....

Q: Is there another plan of salvation for unbelieving Jews?

A: Acts 4:12 - Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Q: Did Jesus take the Kingdom of God from the Jews?

A: Matthew 21:43 - Therefore say I (Jesus speaking to the Jews) unto you,

The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.

Matthew 23:15 - Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees (ALL Pharisees are Jews) , hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.

    Harsh words from Jesus

    14. And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness , into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

    The serpent is the Antichrist.

  • PROPHESY on Matthew 7:1 - 6 years ago
Figure out when the fullness of the Gentiles has or will be completed. That's what we're waiting on.

The fig tree is Israel. When is summer? When is the harvest?

Certain conditions are already in play. The return of The Dispersed Jews is happening, every day. Anti-semitism is driving them to "go home to the land of their fathers."

Briefly, the Palestinians fled from their countries to live wherever they could be allowed in. Now the world watches to see if Israel will be "forced" to accept the 2 State deal on the table. Will they give up all they won in 1967 for Peace?

Keep your eyes on what Russia and China does to push this thing along. Prophesy tells that Russia will be utterly wiped off the map for its interference. By God.

A working knowledge of Bible prophesy would be advisable for now. Some modern Prophets are False Prophets. Which ones? See: you need to be careful lest you be mis-informed by a false prophet.

What does the Bible teach on these things?

I read a prophesy in many years past, that the United States would so something so heinous that the entire world would come against it. What would that be?

We cannot stop what is playing out. I advise being very prayerful over who you elect this fall. Vote your disgust and anger; or vote with God. What is that? I've seen some things but I will not say. Only this: that in Palestinian culture/blood heritage; the children born are the religion of their blood fathers. Israeli children are the religion of their mothers bloodline.

    Study prophesy.

    Mark Matthews,

    Page 2

The Hebrew calendar used at the time of Jesus counted a full day from sunset to sunset, not midnight to midnight.

The Hebrew 24 hour period of time is broken up into two 12 hour segments. The first segment is from 6 pm until 6 am. The second segment is from 6 am until 6 pm.

    6pm - 6am = 1st set of 12 hours- "third hour of the night" Acts 23:23 (9 pm)

    6am - 6pm = 2nd set of 12 hours- "third hour of the day" Acts 2:15 (9 am)

The "third hour" of the day in Mark 15:25 when Christ was crucified is 9 am

The "ninth hour" when He gave up the ghost is 3 pm.

Look at Sixth hour, Ninth hour, eleventh hour, Matthew 20:5

    Mark Matthews, Day Christ Died.

Right on! Just as Johah said; "Three days AND three nights" Jonah 1:17.

Jesus died on what we call Wednesday just before sundown.

Wednesday sundown to Thursday sundown = 1 day (first night and day in the tomb)

Thursday sundown to Friday sundown = 1 day (second night and day in the tomb)

Friday sundown to Saturday sundown = 1 day (third night and day in the tomb)

Mary came to the sepulchre at daybreak Sunday.

    Look at Matthew 12:40.

Jesus rose at some time between Saturday sundown and Sunday morning.

The "high day" of John 19:31 was the first day of the feast (Passover), and is considered a high holy Sabbath day.

The first day of the Feast was a Thursday (15th day of Nisan- April 3/4). The 15th day of Nisan commenced at sunset on what we would still call the 14th.

Jesus was crucified on the 14th, the "preparation day" ( John 19:31), and by law the crucified bodies should not remain on the cross on a Sabbath day. Jesus was put in the tomb before sunset on Wednesday the 14th.

The "first day of the week" ( Matthew 28:1, Mark 16:1-2, Luke 24:1, John 20:1-), the day of the Resurrection, was from our Saturday sunset to Sunday sunset.

Jesus was to be the Lamb slain, and His crucifixion took place on the "preparation day" ( John 19:14) when all lambs were slaughtered for the great Passover Feast the NEXT day.

The Last Supper DID NOT take place on the day of Passover, look at Matthew 27:62, Mark 15:42, Luke 23:54, John 19:14, John 19:31-42.

The "third day" of Matthew 16:21 is not the third day of the great Feast, but the third day of our Lord and Savior being in the tomb.

I'm making mention of the verse you commented on - Revelation 12:14 in this chapter. You said that it was America (could be (you say) - ((wings of an eagle) as America is represented as an eagle) that is taking care (nourished in the verse) Israel. But maybe what you don't see is the end of the verse I guess where it says - nourished........from the face of the serpent. So, the serpent is nourishing Israel and you implied America is nourishing Israel, so GOD is calling America a serpent that is nourishing Israel. Note also that America in this verse is called a wilderness. America is not the only country that has been represented by wings or an eagle - Rome, Persia....etc

    part 2 of 5 or 6:

5.Our opinions don't matter. The context of the passage is all about Jesus dying for sins and the destruction of the temple.

6.Why are people implying a "future peace treaty here" when it doesn't even teach that? They are reading in light of a presupposition they were taught as a young Christian or Bible College student like I was.

7.Why did all commentaries pre-1830 teach the 'he' here is the Messiah? We know that the Bible says many false doctrines would arise in the last days. We are here. This keeps people from preparing their hearts for persecution.

    B. What would cause the sacrifices and oblations to cease?

    1. Jesus' death as the FINAL AND ONLY LAMB of GOD that GOD WILL FOREVER ACCEPT, and He became the LAST HIGH PRIEST TOO. Caiphas lost his job that day. Everything he did at that point was meaningless and anyone in the future doing these things will be meaningless and incur the wrath of God. Look at what God sent in 70 AD and again in 363 AD.

    2. Just because SOME of the Joos went back to sacrificing for 40 more years rejecting Jesus as the Messiah and rejecting atonement when God had enough, doesn't mean those sacrifices amounted to anything. They didn't. They were wasting their time. They even admitted in Yoma 39b in the Talmud that the scarlet wool never turned white again after 30 AD. So those next 40 years were totally meaningless when it came to sacrifices and oblations. God had mercy on them and gave them another 40 years on top of the 490 to repent and accept the Lord Jesus. I know I sent you all this before.

Let me know if you want the rest.

ME: "There are TWO princes mentioned in this passage. One is Titus (secular little prince) and the other Jesus the Messiah, the Prince of peace." (v26).

YOU: Yes, I do agree with you on that, but when we get to verse 27 & we see (A) "And he shall confirm the covenant with many", this is where divergent opinions arise on who "he" is. Some say that it speaks of Jesus, others, Anti-Christ. For those referring it to Jesus, I sought understanding as to His "confirming the Covenant FOR ONE WEEK (7 Years) & (B) causing the sacrifice & oblation to cease, etc." If it was Jesus, (C) how & when did this happen at His coming & His death, as all things continued the same way with the Jews? (D) If it referred to the "Prince that shall come", then it spoke about, either evil Titus at his coming in AD 70, or that spirit that was in him, to be revealed in the Anti-Christ.

ME: BREAKING IT DOWN. I think I did this for you before. You may have not read it.

    A & B: CONFIRM THE COVENANT =

1.What covenant was promised to Adam and Eve in Genesis 3:15?

Gen 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

2.What covenant came into being WHEN Jesus rose from the dead?

3.What covenant is constantly talked about throughout the whole New Testament and referred to in the Old Testament many times with Daniel 9:24-27 just being one of those times?

4.Why is the KJB the only one that calls it THE covenant? THE is a definitive article only meaning ONE of a kind ONE time. There has been many peace treaties over the centuries. More modern English translations have changed THE to A so they can encrypt pre-trib theology in by making it say more than one possibility. The NLT is so horrible it teaches pre-trib theology.

This is about 1/4th of my response and breaking it all down for you. I wish I could just send you the Word document so you can read it over and over. Blogs are nice but limited.

I've recently woken up and seen some of what is truly going on around us,I'm sure I'm just now beginning to scratch the surface of things that I need to know and need to understand, but I'm doing my research everyday all day long and I share as much as I possibly can with people "where it allows me to that is "and I'll continue to do that! I don't want it to seem like I'm trying to make up ANY EXCUSES for myself not understanding the bible. But I am a 31 year old who has been on medication for my ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder ) & ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder ) since before I was in Kindergarten. I don't understand things very easily or clearly no matter how simple it is, it may be easy to you or someone else though. So please don't think I don't want to understand it or don't think I haven't tried. But I'm trying to get in a group of godly people,I want to live for Jesus and help fight this war "If that's what you'd call it". I don't know if this will get so bad that we'll need a underground bunker to stay in to be able to survive in this world or not for a while. But I don't have that kind of money or that kind of connections or friends that I can turn to if things gets bad,its just my husband and myself and us believing in Jesus and having him walk beside us. But I need guidance, I need knowledge, and understanding and support on how and what to do,not just this second or the next few days or weeks. I'm talking about until whenever the end of all this is, not only to help guide myself and my husband but for us to be there in a mass gathering of God's people and to help protect one another and help other people in any way that I can an have them as my family and be by there side through this just as they'd be there to be by my side through this . I'm not trying to join or form a group of people,im just trying to join or form a group that's the right group, the group that stands up for God and fights to protect each others life and follow Jesus!

When did Jesus say the dead in Christ would be resurrected?

John 6:39-40: Jesus said, "This is the will of Him who sent Me, that of all that He has given Me I lose nothing, but raise it up ON THE LAST DAY.

John 6:44: Jesus said, "No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up ON THE LAST DAY."

Is the LAST DAY the thousand year reign of Christ?

I believe so....then it is eternity and time is counted no more

So if Jesus himself said the dead in Christ will be raised on the LAST DAY, and Paul said we who are alive and remain will not be caught up (raptured) until AFTER the dead are raised, then where does secret pre-trib rapture fit in?

Paul in 1 Corinthians 15:52 - In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

We are changed at the LAST TRUMP and where is this found?

In REVELATION, the LAST BOOK of the Bible there are 7 trumps and the 7th trump is the LAST ONE and is at the end of the tribulation. there is not a 7th last trump prior to the tribulation.

    There is NO Mandela Effect.

God is the Alpha (beginning) and the Omega ( the Ending).

He exists outside of time and inside of time. He sees us from start to end. He's keeping a record too. Our deeds and evil communication.

The angels keep a written record of All the things we say about God. Like: God is wonderful! Look how beautiful the stars in the sky are. I want a tee shirt the same color as that butterfly God made. I wonder if God would make it rain today? (And He did :)

We can't sneak anything past Him, either.

I wish I had a book like that. Maybe I could be kinder to my grouchy neighbors....

Gotta go. Babysitting Grandson tomorrow. Have a blessed Friday.

Someone go on YouTube and listen to Carman's Song: Sunday's on the Way.

    Hi Emma,

I pray that you are doing well. After reading your post, I realized just how important it really is for us to have faith in God as our protector, just as He is our Creator. Have faith. The shootings you hear are most likely a result of violence, and as long as you are not involved you are not a target. Also, it is best they do not ever see you look in their direction. Don't try to see where it is coming from, or who is shooting. If it is in fact a murder taking place, if they see you see them, it is likely you will then be shot as a result of witnessing them commit murder. Pray, and always have trust and faith in God that He is your protector and provider of all things needed. :)

    Many Blessings,

I think Isaiah may of seen or heard a computer. Read this:

    Isaiah 8:19

And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits (demons), and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead?

Technology is how the Antichrist will eventually hunt people down.

Should we hoard some aluminum? Does that work? I don't know that either.
