Where does it speak of another nation speaking another language taking over Israel in the last days ?

What Ham did in his father's tent is fully explained and clarified by the laws given to Moses and written in the Book of Leviticus. The entire 18th chapter should be read for full understanding, but for emphasis; verse 8 will be highlighted below.

( Lev 18:8)

"The nakedness of thy father's wife shalt thou not uncover: it is thy father's nakedness."

The act of seeing the nakedness of your father is, therefore, to have intercourse your father's wife. The transgression of Ham was the act of sleeping with Noah's wife. In this case, Noah's wife was also Ham's own mother.

So it is that when Noah was "uncovered within his tent ( Genesis 9:21), it was the wife of Noah who was actually violated, not Noah. Further documentation and clarification is also given concerning this type of transgression in the Book of Deuteronomy, where it is stated that; "Cursed be he that lieth with his father's wife; because he uncovereth his father's skirt" ( Deuteronomy 27:20), also look at ( Deuteronomy 22:30).

As is stated in Genesis 9:18; "Ham is the father of Canaan." It is now plain to see that the transgression of Ham was the act of lying with his mother, and the result of that act was the birth of Canaan.

In Leviticus chapter 20 verse 13 it says if if a man lies with another man that it is an abomination and I believe that means homosexuals but other people are telling people that it means child molesters. Am I wrong is it not talking about homosexuals please tell me what it means.

Also, Easter is a pagan holiday and named after Ishtar, a goddess, including some other pagan goddess that I've read, are new to me since years ago when I did research. Think about it, my sister. What does God have to do with Easter eggs and a bunny rabbit? in pagan worship, the egg stands for the goddess of fertility, and the rabbit, well I don't recall. One thing for sure, a rabbit does not lay eggs. It might have been the object of something they worshiped. After all, they had all types of gods, including animal figures.

For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted, literally beaten with fists, for your faults, and the word faults is the word sin. And we take it patiently? That is, we endure a beating because we have sinned. But if we do well, and suffer for it, and take it patiently, this is acceptable with God. If we function in a way in God's administration, the way He has created us to function, and we suffer for it, and we take it patiently, that is, we endure under it, this is acceptable with God.

The word acceptable is the word grace. God identifies Himself and His grace with the lowly, with those who need His grace, which is why we're told three times in the New Testament that God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. So we're talking about God's grace here.

This section is talking about submission. Verse 18 talks about masters. As we get into the understanding of submission, and slavery back in those times, my master is abusive, but because of my conscience toward God, because of my personal relationship with Christ, I'm not going to fight for my rights.

I'm not going to protest the injustice. But I'm going to submit myself to God. And what does God do? His grace ministers to me, and is sufficient. Now if we think that's pretty harsh, Verses 21 through 25 is the submission example. Guess who that might be?

Verse 21 tells us that this is a calling. This is a calling to function in the way that God has designed us to function, in the midst of a system that is antichrist and rebellious against God. We've got two administrations going in different directions. We have to do what is right with one, but we have to line up with the other.

After 111 years and some, Noah needed a drink and probably enjoyed it a bit too much. He shouldn't have said that about his son and and its also a lesson in respecting peoples privacy and knock first instead of always barging in. I will share briefly my understanding of each one.

1) I believe the bible speaks of more than one book of life. I believe there is a book of life that everyone who has been born into this world is recorded into. And then I believe that there is the Lamb's book of life that everyone who has been born again by the Spirit of God is recorded into. As far as who makes the entries, I don't think that God actually has pen and paper writing down all the names of those who received Him. He already knows those who belong to Him. The other book of life may have been some register that recorded a person's name when they were born. We still have that today.

2) I look at the story of the rich man and Lazarus and I see that there were two compartments, Abraham's Bosom, and Hades. I believe that Abraham's Bosom was paradise. Right now, I believe there is only one side left, and that's Hades. I believe Christ descended into the lower parts of the earth and released those who were in Abraham's Bosom and took them with Him. This is also my understanding of why Christ told the thief on the cross that today you will be with me in paradise. How individuals were assigned was determined by whether a person belonged to God or not at the point of death.

3) The Great White Throne Judgment is a judgment that only non-believers, those who reject Christ, will have to face. Believers will also be judged, but we stand before the Bema seat of Christ. Our judgment is not for salvation or damnation, but for reward/s. That which is of Christ, we will receive a reward for. That which is not of Christ will burn in the fire, but we ourselves will be saved.

4) The lake of fire was created for the devil and his angels. Satan will eventually be cast into the lake of fire, along with all his angels. Non-believers, those who have rejected Christ will stand before the Great White Throne Judgment, and they too will be cast into the lake of fire.

Good morning. Seems like for now that the second day of the week here in earth may continue to be a pull.

I understand that many believe the Lord will return to the earth again. I believe his work was 100% finished on the cross and that the harvest is imminent and the harvesters are few. The other thief on the cross wanted Jesus to save both of them from death by working a work in the world. Perhaps Judas Iscariot had the same erroneous thinking and false hope.

When the view of the harvest is from the perspective that I believe, politics of this earth are of the world.

Though the Jews, through unbelief, unjustly demanded the death of Jesus, and the Romans followed through with the wicked plot, the glorious truth is that God himself determined that Jesus would be slain as the sinless Lamb of God for our sins. ( Acts 2:22-24; Romans 4:24-25; Romans 11).

Did not Jesus allow for divorce based upon "fornication" ( Matthew 5:32, 19:9). All those people that divorced based upon that reason are NOT committing adultery..according to the words of Jesus.

God is a divorcee ( Jeremiah 3:8).

God will re-marry Israel again ( Ezekiel 37:15-28).

The word sound in Titus 1:13 is the word healthy. It's the same word used in Titus 1:9 about sound doctrine, or healthy doctrine. This section in Titus, Verses 5-16 is giving us the instruction on leadership. The leader is to present sound (healthy) doctrine in order that it might do two things: both to exhort, that is encourage, and to convict the gainsayers, those who speak against the word. Gainsayers are those who speak against the word.

So a leader is to present sound (healthy) doctrine that will encourage believers so that the believer will be healthy in the faith, and also, sound or healthy doctrine will convict the non-believers.

Please read Hebrews chapter 3 which compares Moses' office with the exceeding much more of Jesus Christ.

A born again believer cannot claim to have a sinless life (1 John chapter 1). By faith in the completed work of Jesus Christ on the cross and his resurrection from the dead , we are imputed the righteousness of Christ ( Romans 4 & 5).

It seems that "Enos" is the first person recorded within the blood line of Adam and Eve that willfully chose to fall away from the word of God. Both Adam and his wife displayed fear for having disappointed the LORD ( Genesis 3:8 - 10), as well as honesty to Him about their transgression ( Genesis 3:12, 13). Seth, being Adam and Eve's first listed biological son ( Genesis 5:3), is not mentioned in Scripture as acting against the word of God in any form or manner.

To build a wedge between the word of God and His people is the main goal of Satan, and those who do his work for him. Being of a particular family or heritage does not determine whether you will love God or not; that is an individual decision. The example is set forth in this verse that within the direct bloodline of Adam, even at this early period in time, there is a falling away from the saving grace of the LORD, and it "began" with "Enos."

I believe it is also worth mentioning that "Enos" is the only Antediluvian patriarch of the genealogy of Adam and Eve, save for Seth, that is listed among "THE GENERATIONS OF THE HEAVENS AND OF THE EARTH" ( Gen 2:4). Seth is mentioned for genealogy purposes only, as the focus of this verse ( Gen 4:26) is about the error and wickedness of "Enos." The focus of the entire 4th chapter of Genesis, in general, concerns the rise of the seed of Satan upon the earth, and the influence they had on mankind from its earliest beginnings. Even though Adam walked with God only three generations earlier, "Enos" has himself chosen to fall away from the LORD and ally himself with the sons of the wicked one.

I understand Genesis 4:26, and specifically the word "began" in this way:

Mankind in general, and Adam, in particular, was properly calling upon the name of the LORD long before the birth of "Enos." Suitable worship of the LORD did not begin with this one "Enos," as Scripture has already given us the example of Abel, whose tribute unto the LORD for his transgressions was found to be acceptable by Him ( Genesis 4:4).

Many believe this verse to convey the sense that the worshippers of the LORD began, at this point in time, to publically band together, calling or representing themselves as dedicated disciples to God and His word. These measures were taken by them in order to distinguish themselves from the wicked generations of Cain, known as "Kenites" ( Genesis 15:19), that were rapidly advancing in all facets of life; especially their worship of their god, Satan.

I believe that what did originate with "Enos" can be better understood from the Hebrew word "chalal," which is translated "began" in Genesis 4:26. The definition and etymology of the word should be reviewed for clearer understanding.

The practice "Enos began" was that of profaning and defiling himself, his heritage, and most importantly, the name of the LORD. "Enos began" calling the names of men, and the names of idols, directly by the name of the LORD, thereby allowing even more confusion to be brought upon the true children of God that are eagerly wanting to understand His precepts.

Given below is ( Genesis 4:26) from the Targum of Jonathan;

"And to Sheth also was born a son, and he called his name Enosh. That was the generation in whose days they began to err, and to make themselves idols, and surnamed their idols by the name of the Word of the Lord."

As Paul states in Hebrews 4:11: "For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, AS GOD DID FROM HIS."

When did God rest? The 7th day.

When did Jesus rest? The 7th day.

When did the Apostles rest AFTER CHRIST DIED? The 7th day.

Was Peter wrong for observing the health laws laid out by God in the book of Leviticus well AFTER Christ had died? Why was he following these laws if ALL had been fulfilled in Christ ( Acts 10:12)?

God explained what is clean and unclean. Did Christ make all unclean food clean again? Answer: No. But I am not going to judge a new Christian (in meat) for eating a ham sandwich; however I will politely and gently point him to Leviticus 11.

"ALL" has not been fulfilled, therefore the LAW still exists. ( Matthew 5:18).

The student of God's word needs to be clear as to what "ORDINANCES" ( Ephesians 215, Colossians 2:14) have been taken out of the way (such as blood sacrifice) and what LAWS (7th day, health) are still in effect.

To answer your questions:

All believers look to take one day off a week, per order of God. I don't think anyone is condemned for trying to understand it as clearly as possible. As I said over and over, I am not the judge and ignorance is not a sin.

Could the 7th day vs. the 1st day be, as you state, "a possible divider of those that are granted eternal life from those that are rejected," I would reply that the ONLY thing that will not be forgiven you in the flesh is if you reject the Holy Spirit from speaking through you if and when the time comes.

On a side note Chris, I appreciate your feedback and I am amazed at your ability to respond to various people at the same time. These comments and replies take me forever to generate.

I interpret Colossians 2:16 differently than you do. I believe this verse concerns those that are weaker in faith and in understanding of Scripture are not to be condemned or judged by those that are stronger in faith.

I completely disagree with your belief that Paul is telling us that "the believer is free to do a number of things, including appointing his worship day." Do you tell people that they do not need to understand or follow the OT because it has been replaced? Dangerous stuff there!

Did Christ come to obliterate the Law, (our schoolmaster)? Absolutely not! How do you justify your condemnation of O.T. law?

Do you think that you are not under the 10 Commandments? You are under the law if you break the law. And that is every one every day. Last I checked, only Jesus didn't break any laws, ever?

Concerning the Sabbath, we are plainly told that Christ became our Sabbath and our rest is EVERY DAY, not just one day per week ( Hebrews 4:1-11). That is what I believe! ( 1 Corinthians 5:7). And that is why I don't care when you or anyone else observes the day of rest within a week. As I have repeatedly stated, I'm not the judge!

I would think that people who value understanding Scripture as clearly as possible (as you seem to) would want to use all available resources for this. If you want to rest on a Friday or a Sunday because it is EASIER and convenient and that is what everyone else is doing, that is your choice.

I was not trying to get into a "solar calendar argument," but your dismissive comments concerning the DSS, and your idea that days are "unimportant for worship" and that we "NEED" to abide by the current (Pope Gregory) calendar sounds to me like someone that is "in the world" and has closed his mind off to any new understanding? Are you fearful to find out something that might be different from your understanding?
