Soul sleep is a highly controversial thing. Many briliant scholars believe it, many do not.. From whence did Endora call up Samuel, from his rest. Experiential things such as near desth on a surgery table, coming back after seeing loved ones. Perhaps the difference is before after Christ's resurrection. I'm not yet understanding what you think is the contradiction. James 1:13 says God doesn't tempt people to do evil, nor can God be tempted to do evil Himself. The other is Jesus giving an example prayer to deliver us away from the temptation, which is from Satan. Can you please explain in more detail why you think this is a contradiction?

1John 1:9 says if we confess our sins he is faith full and just to forgive us our sins,and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Confess our sins and God will give us joy and a home forever.

In this chapter GOD clearly points out what HE expects, also we learn some of the evil ways men chose to trump The Will Of GOD, therefore in this case GOD is forced to act as GOD see fit. Because it seems to be a Contradiction Adam, I'm sure Jesus would not tell us to say what His Father tells us not to say..... Matthew6:13 And lead us Not into Temptation..... James1:13 Let No Man say when he is Tempted I am Tempted of God.....So is it a Translation error Adam or am I misunderstanding it's wording ?

Knowing Jehovah,GOD is sovereign thereby He exercise HIS RIGHTS to build and destroy based on sin. HE do not have to explain HIS actions us when we do not understand. We trust HIS actions or judgments from Genesis through Revelation to be 100 percent correct, as in this and the next chapter. 2020 GOD still RIGHTLY build and destroy based on sin. John 3:16 -21 shall protect when we apply it.
