With all thanks and praise to God, my Holy Father, it is the Spirit that bears witness: for you would hide the truth if it were possible. But now you discern my blood and are not blameless. It is written, For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead: so that they are without excuse:

1 Kings 16:31 31He not only considered it trivial to commit the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, but he also married Jezebel daughter of Ethbaal king of the Sidonians, and began to serve Baal and worship him. He above is Ahab. Don't listen to a Jezebel. She will steer thee wrong.

Nicolaitans. The doctrine of the Nicolaitans appears to have been a form of antinomianism, which makes the fatal mistake that man can freely partake in sin because the Law of God is no longer binding. It held the truth on the gratuitous reckoning of righteousness but supposed that a mere intellectual "belief" in this truth had a saving power.

For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made! Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Evolution Who changed the truth of God into a lie!

That is letting people know that to see YA aka G D is something that only the pure in heart shall see YA aka G d! If you read verse 1 Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel and worship ye afar off. - they were close enough to see his form and his feet only, it didn't mention his face or features. Matthew 5:8 Blessed ae the pure in heart, for they will see God. I saw him...

  • Jerry - In Reply on Genesis 9 - 6 years ago
Because Scriptures teach that his children were in his loins at that time, so his sin affected them, yet there is also hope of redemption in the curse, as God changes the curse to a blessing. Jesus said the servant of them all is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. So in light of that, it is no longer a curse! Good news, glad tidings to you my friend.

Yes I know what Adam said. Nor would I argue about what Adam said, but I will simply say that the Bible says they were men, and the Angel in the Revelation said he was "of his brethren", meaning one of the brothers. He has made you a spirit no? From what I read the prophets were the angels. He spoke to us in old time by the prophets angels , but in these last days by his Son. Then the comparison.

Outside of John 3:16 , what is the greatest promise that God gives us in the Bible and where is that found?
  • Charles Blackwell - In Reply on 1 John 3 - 6 years ago
To Freedomborn The Bible can be confusing sometimes, some scripture is meant for the unsaved and some is meant for the saved. That means not all scripture is for every body. Before Jesus died, when he was teaching, the things he taught mostly was for everybody because at that time there were no saved people, everyone was a sinner. Jesus didn't do away with the law, but is for the unsaved.

Romans 8:14 tells us who the sons of God are...For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

Jerry: As Adam stated, angels can appear as human but are not flesh and blood. Man is made from the dust of the ground Genesis 2:7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground. Hebrews 2:16 He took not on him the nature of angels, but he took on him the seed of Abraham. Hebrews 1:7 And of the angels he saith, who maketh his angels spirits? Hebrews 1:14. Read Hebrews chapters 1 and 2.

Thank you Patty and yes what a wonderful Promise we have from our Abba Father He will never abandon us even if everyone else does. Jesus warned us that when we follow Him we will be persecuted even by some of those in our Families and in the Church but He will keep us strong to the end. He knows us by Name and not one of us will be lost He protects our Souls. Blessings Dear Sister in Christ Jesus

I don't think I ever read a place where it says they were disguised as men, but actually were men. Read the beginning of Hebrews, if you have an open ear to what I'm telling you, and what the Scriptures say about Angels, you'll see that the Angels are prophets. See Hebrews 1-7. Now, we may say that the Angels are spirits of men, not our fleshly bodies, nevertheless men are those spirits of God.

There is no salvation without Jesus Christ! Life begins in baptism and is were you will gain wisdom. Love one another is were people will know you are my disciples.
  • Adam - In Reply - 6 years ago
From reading the Bible I believe that angels are not people, but they can be disguised as people Hebrews 13:2. Likewise, Jesus appeared as a man, but that doesn't mean he wasn't God. Genesis 18:2 actually doesn't say they're angels either, but in Gen 19. Could be written from the perspective of them being 'men' to show that no one know they were angels.

Great question. Since God is invisible Colossians 1:15 whatever people saw was a physical representation of Him or just his glory Exodus 33:19, but perhaps lacking in his true essence, because to truly see Him, people would die: Exodus 33:20.
