All God wants is to dwell in man for man to express Him .."The wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal Life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

God the Father, God the Son God the Holy Spirit. Job 33:4 The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth

I think this is a hard chapter from a Christian point of view. We do tend to judge liars for example when we ourselves have lied or committed other sins. How do we combat our own past actions when we watch people of power, no conscience, lie their very heads off. Because I am small and insignificant, does that make my lie less compared to monstrous lies from people in power.

Ask for forgiveness every morning and night for any sin you could of committed. Praise His Holy Name!!! Walk with His Strength wherever you go. Be prepared to face any situation by going to Him first-- not the enemy's way of this world. Thank Him after for staying close. Think about the Blessings He had bestowed on you. Keep going after the impossible of this world-- for they are made possible!!!

The Bible reads, Christ will come and gather his Church. Those that have passed will be caught up in the air. Does the Bible tell us for certain that no one is in Heaven at present, but Christ. The thief on the cross was told that he would be in Heaven with Jesus that day. Luke tells us that the rich man asked for a drop of water while in Hell. Are the dead sleeping, in Heaven, or Hell now?

Psalms 1 is also an excellent reminder to the Christian believer not to be weary in well doing living for Christ Jesus . Not to gloat in the demise of the wicked for this is the Lord s doing - He is Righteousness and Faithful. Let us that walk in the way of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ be encouraged. Pray that we all live this life so that we may be caught up to meet our Lord in the air!

This particular psalm is one of comfort for his elect who live in an evil and unfriendly world who hate Christians and Christ. The psalm reminds us to pray for Gods healing power thru his holt spirit when we are feeling down and our spirits are troubled more so in this present age we love.

Except the LORD of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah. Isaiah 1:9 And they shall have no pity on the fruit of the womb their eye shall not spare children.....shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah. Isaiah 13:18-19

My through of this chapter talks about how we can let what we see or hear put fear in us and case our faith
  • Timmy on Romans 1 - 6 years ago
This seems to answer the question can you be purposely disobedient and still be saved. We all sin, we all have trials, and we fail more than we would like to. For faith and grace to be true and real a transformation has to occur, that being said we still trip and fall every day, but in faith we get up and try again.

Reading chapter one of Romans it is somewhat terrifying. Paul could be talking to America. A very powerful first chapter.

Peter: It is mentioned in Hebrews 1:2 that God made the worlds. Hebrews 11:3 mentions Through faith we understand the worlds were framed by the word of God, we know that definition of faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things unseen. There is not any place in the bible that talks of life on other worlds that were created, I'm not saying there is not but God does not reveal

Duet.16 is talking about the "passover feast" this was for the Israelite's to remember commemorate what God had done for them in leading them out of Egypt and freeing them from bondage slavery . We no longer need to keep the feast days since Jesus died on the cross with our sins. We are asked to partake of the Lord's supper 1 Cor 11:24 This do in remembrance of me.

Clarice that is a very good question and has a complex answer. Zion is the City if God, The City if David, and in general, Jerusalem itself. It can include many places there, and represents different things. The best explanation I've seen is on the website Got Questions and type in the meaning of Zion. You will get scripture and further clarification there I believe Clarice. Hope that's helpful

Shanice jules: 1 Accept Jesus as your personal savior, we should get on our knees and pray and ask for the forgiveness of our sins and invite Jesus to come in to your heart. 1 Thess 5:17 Pray without ceasing 2 John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. We serve God by being obedient to His law 10 commandments 1 John 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments.
  • I, even I, am that Michael Isaac Dale: on Galatians 3 - 6 years ago
As it is written, Who has bewitched you, that ye should NOT OBEY the truth? GOD now commands all men everywhere to repent: Repent ye and believe the Gospel. Fear GOD, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. They profess that they know GOD but in works they deny him being abominable and disobedient: For which things' sake the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience.
