Some believe that the two witnesses in Revelations are Elijah and Enoch. Because they are two who in the bible never died a natural death. Enoch was taken by God from the earth while he was still alive. Elijah was taken up from earth in a carriage of God. And did not die a natural death. The two witnesses in the last days could be these two. Or they could be you and I. Some say Moses and Elisha.

Hi Kaye, that's a good question. It isn't a salvation issue, but just one of speculating future events that is interesting and is ok that people have a different opinion, because it doesn't seem 100 clear. My personal view is that the dead are in a state of 'sleep' to where 1,000 years could pass before Jesus returns and will seem like a second. I don't believe they're in heaven. The guy beside Jesus was a special circumstance, in my opinion. So, people at funerals who say they're in a better place, I don't believe, as judgment hasn't happened yet.
