Joshua believe and trust God...I really like this passage..it encourages me this morning even with a clearer understanding..thank you...if jesus say do it then do it

The concept is that Jesus came to bring a kingdom and not a democracy. A democracy can never nor will never defeat a kingdom. A religious mindset fights this truth as if to say I have a point of view or I will give my opinion of this. The truth is The Lord is not looking for your point of view, He is looking for one thing, COMPLIANCE!

I know this is all semantics, but a split occured early on in the Church as a result of the issue of baptism. Prior to Antioch, both Jew and Gentile who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ fellowshipped together. These Jews believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, but they were trying to lay the burden of circumcision upon the Gentiles for salvation. Paul had a very clear understanding of circumcision.

Also note, these were believing Jews who were zealous for the Law. The body of Christ has always been made up of both the natural and spiritual seed even unto our present day. One cannot call themselves a Jew and not believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. This is who and what the Church started with on the day of Pentecost.

The law of circumcision was a perpetual covenant laid upon the children of Israel.
