I read somewhere that Psalm 118:8 is the center verse in the Bible. It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. So true. Yet we all tend to put our trust in men at times. Something we need to fight against. For example, we may trust our doctors but ultimately healing comes from God. We may trust our pastors, but need to check what they say with the word of God.

Jehovah / GOD moves mightily against a pride-heart plus worshiper of idols / sin ( 4 They drank wine, and praised the gods of gold, and of silver, of brass, of iron, of wood, and of stone.) but it was too late because that night GOD would take down one king a raise up another king (the young man / king did not learn nothing from his farther sinful-ways ) 2019 is a repeat

Who can understand the mechanics of the Supreme Being. Noone! We don't even fully understand the mechanics of being alive in a body which has a end, but the Spirit which enlivens us doesn't. Melchidec appeared out of nowhere to Abraham as an emissary and is never heard from again. You say he was Jesus walking the earth on a recon mission. I say that Jesus was born of woman, Melchisidec wasn't

And? What ever happened to Paul after those 2 years?

And Paul dwelt two whole years in his own hired house, and received all that came in unto him,

what does this mean in essence?
  • Steve on Hebrews 6 - 7 years ago
Only a fool would assume salvation, or eternal life is assured. If so, why study the word, or strive for the truth. It is done! This is not what the Bible says. It says, if one is worthy he will be judged by the impartial judge, if his mind and heart is right based on his entire life, whether he has done good or evil, whether he has endevored to hear the word, or whether he has only read 3/16
  • Daniel on 1 Thessalonians 4 - 7 years ago
It's really pretty simple. There is no such thing as a pre-tribulation rapture. That would require Christ returning a third time, because the pre-tribulation rapture would be the second. There is only one "Second Coming of Christ, " not two.

Note the humble-heart of Daniel after GOD reveal to Daniel what to show the king's about the dream; Daniel took not credit for the work GOD was doing through Daniel as GOD is carrying out the will of Jehovah / GOD.
  • I Am that Michael Isaac Dale on Hosea 3 - 7 years ago
Nay. This man, in his wickedness, magnifies his own name while attempting to diminish the LORD GOD: all while revealing the evil murmurings of his heart. Thus, it is written, For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods. See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.
  • Obbie Beal on Daniel 1 - 7 years ago
At this point in TIME, Daniel and his friends are in a foreign country as slaves. The sin's of their own country Judah / Israel has received the promise /wrath of Jehovah / GOD, and through war (using heathens) GOD allowed these three men to be taken as slave into a foreign country. So we see GOD (when HE decides) shall release his wrath on a nation that will not repent, also HE protects a few.

Sue is right. The Bible has supernaturally been altered. Not new translations but Bibles that have been in your possession or in the library since the year 1600. The famine of the Word of God has arrived. Many examples on You tube watch?v vHpSg2hlCU4

  • Eagleye on Isaiah 49 - 7 years ago
This scripture is about the suffering Christian. It lets us know that God may not come when you want him,but he’s right on time. No matter the suffering those that caused that suffering wasn’t just fighting against you,but against God. He’ll give them a dose of their own medicine upto the death penalty. Your may not believe in God or his judgment but they will after that (bad luck) judgment comes.

    It Is true!
  • Sarah on Judges 16 - 7 years ago
Sampson's true downfall was simply failing to give glory to God. He made his hair his strength instead of God. He could've told Delilah his strength was given by God. That would have been the absolute truth and he knew that. But under pressure, he momentarily lost sight. Not unlike Moses striking the rock and stating he would cause water to flow instead of saying God would cause water to flow.
  • Bruce on Matthew 8 - 7 years ago
The Children of The Kingdom are Israelites, Jewish People. There are Many People that Believe They are Saved But are More Lost than The Lost. The World is Getting Darker Every Day. Sin is Wide Open Like a Full-Blown Epidemic. Very Few Churches Preach Salvation By The Blood of The Lamb. Years ago Some Revivals Were Just Old Gospel Songs, Many Were Saved, Others Rededicated.
