God clothes the heavens with blackness which means darkness and he use a sackcloth which is a veil for a covering. God allows darkness in our lives so we can see the light. Weeping endures for the night but joy comes in the morning.

First I believe we ought to know that God is God : Our Heavenly Father !! Unless we know Him we can not adequately Praise and Thank Him when we are facing a difficult time . I must know that my Father is Good , Loving , Kind , and Merciful , and most of all Grace !!! I've read Psalms103 every morning for years to remind me of God's great love,mercy and grace.The same yesterday today and tomorrow. It reminds me of His promises and that He is forever faithful.

This Psalm 23 really shows God's love for us, he is our everything.

Larrion King, Deut.7:6-8 - The O.T. was a different dispensation. Abraham was righteous before God, he was the start of God's chosen people. Abram was a Gentile before God changed his name. So this shows that any Gentile who walked in FAITH with God was saved back then. If you will notice - God gave ALL the evil nations around the Israelites time to 'change', before destroying them.
