Satan tempts us according to our weaknesses. We should fast and pray for God's mission for task.

The Book of job give us a rare insight into Satan's character, especially as it relates to God. He exhibits neither respect nor fear in his answers to God. However he did HAVE to obey Gods' summons as all must. Jesus called several back from the dead and they all obeyed. Satan is not all-powerful, as we see here. He must have God's permission to harass God's people.Respect him,but don't fear him.

I am in a new country and cannot find someone to pray with me. I am so grateful to be reminded that Christ is praying for me. This chapter ( John 17) is such a joyful discovery to me. It does not matter if there are no praying people around me, Christ is lifting me through His prayers.

I don't see the concept of man helping man as being of no value in this chapter. God uses people to help others. A charitable heart pleases God. This chapter tells us what God is going to do with the idols that men have erected and keep for themselves. And what is going to happen to idolaters.

Psalm 91 is so powerful. It strengthens my faith

God word is unchangeable, what ever he promised he will do .Isaac was born to Abraham and Sarah at the appointed time God stand by his word to perform it . although Sarah try to help God by using her maid God still gave the promise of the covenant child.Thank God for his mercy that he didn't destroy Abemlech's house hold for Abraham saying Sarah is his sister but God made a way of escap

I have learned a lot from the Bible

When we are tempted and under attack from the fiery darts of the enemy we must remember to walk in Christ always, when we have Christ in mind we notice these things happening so put on the full armour of God and walk with him. Surrender yourself to the Lord, don't lean on your own understanding and take up your cross. Hallelujah!

I try to pray this psalm every morning and through out my day, and i know emphatically that God does dispatch His angels around me(us)
